Mea Culpa

We absolutely loved our time here & would have extended, if they had availability. We got the balcony room. Great view, more peaceful area of the town. Quick walk or bike into town. We didn’t try the restaurant. We really enjoyed the wild garden on the property, filled with flowers and mango trees. They also provide water :) Very clean!

Ben and his crew are fantastic, welcoming and helpful. I enjoyed my stay, large room, I had an excellent large balcony and the housekeeping is daily as well as immaculate. The garden is a great place to sit and enjoy a drink or lunch amongst the mango trees. Ben was very helpful in having a motorbike rental brought to me at a great value. His lovely family and staff helped me with booking my onward travel and took care of all the details. Thanks Ben, I look forward to visiting again!

Excellent, spacious rooms in a very peaceful part of Kampot Town. The Internet is decent, staff are friendly and attentive and the bacon is almost exactly like the stuff you get in Ireland. Omelettes are excellent and overall I had a very relaxing few days here. The owner is also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended

Irish hospitality at its finest. Attention is given to the details in the rooms and on the terrace. Ben is a very approachable, yet professional host. Information pack is among the best ever, the hotel has a beautiful garden to relax in, but is only a walking distance from the town center. Would warmly recommend!

What a gem! We've been traveling around SE Asia for a few months now and this is hands down one of our favorite hotels. The location is really nice - walking distance to the town and close to the river, but also far enough away that it isn't super loud. The staff was so incredibly kind and helpful during our 5 night stay, and the breakfast was so tasty!

Had a lovely stay at Mea Culpa! The manager was so friendly and helpful as was the rest of the staff. It’s tucked away just off the river but still not too far from the main part of town; it’s walkable but they also provide free bikes! They will also get you set up with a motorbike for just $5/day (which you should do to go up Bokor Mountain!) Room was cleaned daily with two waters left every day. Bed was comfy and though at first I was scared the shower would soak the bathroom, it did not, and the water was nice and warm! For the nightly price, this place is a steal :)

What a lovely stay with Ben and his family. Clean, good air-conditioning, and just a block from the waterfront (don't miss the sunset there), and 3-4 blocks to many excellent cafes. One block from the huge lotus pond, another nice walk.
