Meadowood Mall

First time at the Meadowood mall, which is surprising, considering I’ve been in Reno frequently. I’ve heard the mall used to look at lot more retro, nowadays it’s been renovated to take on a more modern mall theme… food court still held some of it’s old looks, which I enjoyed seeing. There was a variety of stores, and frankly the mall felt very open, so it was easy to navigate. I found there to be a lot of good deals on styles in stores like Aeropostale, American Eagle, and Express. I was quite surprised to see how busy the mall was, considering malls have seen a severe turnover due to online shopping, overall though, I had a great experience at the Meadowood mall.

Meadowood Mall is a classic as far as shopping malls go. It has all the obvious big name stores you’d expect, along with quite a few unique shops I haven’t seen elsewhere. The food court has some really solid restaurant options, and during Christmas they really go all out with the decorations and atmosphere. Meadowood is definitely one of my favorite malls.

Amazing mall. Haven't been to an indoor mall in many years, aside from Ontario Mills Mall in SoCal. I'm glad to see this Mall still thriving, and it actually has a lot of nice awesome unique shops, and a decent selection of food at food court. Would wish that the Indian food was cheaper considering how much cheaper their competitors are. That was my only deterent from them.

Great variety, clean place, nice stores and the Christmas setup and food court are very nice. Overall we had a great experience here many times, not just at Christmas time! There are a number of places to sit and hang out, which always used to be important. Not sure if it still is for the younger folk, but it's a cool place!

It's clear this mall is very old and with malls around the world closing and being repurposed, I don't blame them for not putting the money in a renovation. Supposedly, there is a food court, but I didn't see it. Beware of the stall businesses that try to grab you or rub something on you ewwwww 🤢. Not much to see and just ok if you can't get what you need delivered. This was my first time stepping foot in a mall in 6 years and I see why people stopped going. It was virtually dead save for a few old people. Maybe if it were newer, it might be ok.

We LOVE those mall! There is a lot here for kids to enjoy, including two play areas (one free, one paid admission). There are several kid friendly options for snacks, drinks, and treats too!

I love this mall. It's been part of my life forever. That signature scent, the lovely shops, and cleanliness. Wonderful restaurants. Wayback burger is my favorite.

It's a lively mall. Still has plenty of traffic and it's worth heading to for anything mall. Malls as a breed are dying out, but this one isn't. Good arcade, build a bear, and lots of stores for pokemon fans and other games.

I love coming to the small because it isn't too big but it isn't too small but has all my favorite stores in here. I love coming here to look at all the sales and look at all the clearance rack to see what they have and usually they have a lot of my size and the price range is very affordable and it is clean and organized on all the stores that I go to. . I love coming to Macy's and checking out the clearance rack. I always find great t-shirts and cardigan and lots of cashmere and season of clothes. I always find something here that fits my style and that I need it for different weather. I came here for Black Friday and I got some really amazing deals on cashmere clothings. I also like coming here during the spring time and summertime finding really amazing solid t-shirts with great cotton quality. Or if I need any good Cosmetics they also have it here which I love. . I love going to Hot Topic and box lunch for all my cute stuff And I always like to see Touch all the Dream checklist items that I am interested so I can always go back home and Purchase when it is on sale or just coming here Purchase the cute items when it is on sale with great deals. . I love going to H&M clothing here because they have great sales. I get a lot of my work clothes here when I need to be professional and or casual or getting last minute stuff that I did not pack for the trip. The store is always clean and organized and I love the service. . I also like miniso hair because they have great clearance rack and I do love looking out all the new items and saving it for when it goes on clearance. I also love looking at all the Sanrio items. . Overall this mall is always a great stop for my trip when I am in a shopping mood. I love coming here to relax my mind and just walk around even if I am not buying anything. Nice mall with a good food court. The mall has been here awhile but it has been kept clean and tidy. The Indian food in the food court is amazing. Check it out.

I really enjoyed this mall, although I wasn't able to explore every inch. I'll definitely be back.

I am writing this review specifically on a kiosk business Predireparis While going shopping with my older sister, the other day to look for various gifts for friends and family. We were approached by a woman to look at some products to make a long story short she ended up selling me a whole bunch of product did not give me a receipt and did not tell me there was no return policy. I am now down a good bit of money and I am very pissed if you end up seeing a beauty skin kiosk in Meadowood Mall towards Macy's department store near the GameStop avoid it at all cost. If you see a woman trying to get your attention run the other direction like you're going to be shot at it is a complete scam if you wanna look up the website their website Predireparis.com Overall, I'm very disappointed that Meadowood Mall would end up having such scammers operate there. I am going to avoid it at all cost for the rest of the holiday season and I hope this business is removed from Meadowood Mall.

We had a great experience at 4 ever sports. I was looking for a hat for my Grandson. They had a really good selection. A couple different employees asked if we needed any help. One of them seen which hats we were browsing and started helping getting all of the different options down and displayed for us to help with the discussion. After I selected my hat he happily put away all of the other hats. I didn't feel rushed or that I was taking up to much of his time. It was nice. Pricing was comparable to other stores I have purchased hats.

Listen I actually enjoy the mall because it does have some good stores but I'm giving it a 2 star review until they take those lies that the call photos down of what the mall looks like

1/17/2024- Surprised to me that I haven't posted a review.. We don't have many indoor malls except this one..and I think the Towne mall.. Could be a good thing, or else I'd have a lot of shopping to do.. I mainly would shop at Macy's at this mall...and more recently See's Candy.. Both my adult son's love going to the mall, even until this day.. lol..

3d crystal promises times and does not deliver. Not worth the price, and crappy customer service. I won't buy from there ever again.

There was a old man looking at younger girls like teenagers in Charlotte Russe and he was a old man that in a girl shop that was crazy weird! But it Amazing that the food is good

Quality/Quantity - Sad to say that malls continue to die... At least these types. I remember you were a hit 30+ years ago. Almost bought a condo across the street; glad I did not. Current anchors are: Dicks Sporting Goods, Macys, JCPenney, etc. See website for deals and offers. Current promotions are "Back to School." See all my pictures for current food and drink choices. Atmosphere - Glad to see that you are still "fully" occupied. Open 7 days a week, see Yelp or website for specific hours. Always plenty of parking. Service - Good, also depends where you shop or eat. Horrible customer service in all the places we visited. At Dicks we asked multiple times for a shoe size the first guy who helped us totally disregarded us and after standing there awkwardly we asked again. Only to be left standing over 15 mins and asked another person who they checked that the shoes weren't in stock. Went to JcPenny where you can tell the people that work the registers hate their jobs not very customer welcoming. Only positive thing we were able to find 1 out of the 3 last minute gifts we needed.

I misplaced my car keys after lunch at the Food Court. I was in a mad panic going to each store retracing my steps. I saw a Security team right there and said Help. Zeus was on it fast. He walked me all the way back to the food court. I found his presence very calming. He took my information as my girlfriend drove me in her car back home in Sparks to retrieve another set of keys. Her and I prayed all the way back to the mall. The round trip was 30 minutes. Right as we parked my cell phone rang. Like Magic I knew. It was My Hero, Zeus. He reunited me with my keys. A Great ending to a great day.

hi i'm writing this review specifically to some of the foodplaces which are charley's, boba station, and the one nest to it . theres nothing wrong with the foods or stuff but this is all about the management. i saw them working real hard and i asked one of them outside that some of them are getting paid minimum wage and not treated equally for that, the so called department have the worst at handling their staffs. I heard a lot of people saying that something is off to their manager or lead. I also heard a lot of diabolical things that made me shiver. I hope that they should ask the employees about whats really happening. FOOD IS GOOD MANAGEMENT IS DEFINITELY NOT GOOD.

I always enjoy a visit to this mall - especially during the holidays! The decor is always beautiful and a great way to get you in the spirit. I spent an absurd amount of time at this mall growing up and still love it to this day. There's always plenty of parking, even during busy times. There's an excellent variety of stores to shop at, and a few are always changing (good & bad I guess). The mall is always kept clean and is a pleasure to walk around - I noticed this morning that many people do laps for exercise here, which is a fabulous idea. They have plenty of food options available at the food court and lots of seating. The food court is also kept very clean. They have a nice play area for the little ones to burn off some energy.

This place has gone extremely down hill. I knew someone who used to work there and she only said negative things about the place. To start off, the pipes burst in some of the back rooms. The whole place smelled like a public restroom and the mall officials seemed to do nothing to help. To me, that seems ridiculous. Also, the last time I attended the mall a terrifying person in a Japanese anime costume scared the living poop out of me. I was petrified by this thing. I was just trying to push my wife in her wheelchair and I genuinely thought she would have a heart attack (she's in very poor health). It's the only decent place in reno to shop though. I always hit up the vans there!

It's a good mall. Diverse set of stores and places to eat. Will you find what you are looking for or be able to fill your body with food and drink? Maybe. Maybe not. But you will have a good time on your quest. There is lots of seating throughout. Hours of operation are scheduled nicely. Parking can be a dream. But mainly it's a nightmare. ALWAYS! There's a lot of things this mall is and a lot of things this mall is not. It's up to you to figure that out.

I noticed the stores in the mall have varying hours. It would be nice to have the same hours if these stores are going to be in the mall. The food court has a good selection of food choices. There is also a Cheesecake Factory on the other side of the mall.

This mall is totally just an okay mall. Nothing fancy, nothing excited about. I visited this mall in a very rare occasion, for cheesecake then cruising around to Bath Body Works only. Today was my first visit after more than 2 years. I thought let's check it out, who knows they've something more interesting to see. Nope! Wrong! Arrived very early to avoid the crowds, so I could check it out what's new what's not. Went to Bath Body Works, then I was looking for a puzzle store. Found a directory sign but hey, what's going on? The directory map wasn't there! You've to scan the app so you'll be able to see the directory map on your phone. It said the new, fast and easy way to find what you shopping, but Duh! So stupid. Why didn't they also put the map like it used to. How if seniors who doesn't have a high tech phone? I have a phone but I felt this way was quite not comfortable. Internet Loading at the mall was quite slow so I sat down at the food court for more than 3 minutes until it showed everything. I prefer the old map back. Fast and bigger to read the direction. Food court area is totally a sad area. Well I'm talking this for myself. Not much to choose. Few of them were closed even though already lunch hour. Sorry, I have a way better experience at other places especially out of USA. Good thing this mall have few of big famous companies and restaurant.

This mid size mall is not to bad. It has some good stores like Hot Topic, H&M, JC Penny, Macy's, Things Remembered, Game Stop and a good size food court. In the food court there is pizza, burgers, Chinese, and other foods as well. It's a good mall that's clean and the restrooms were clean as well.

Well like most malls across America meadowood is not what it used to be. It's golden age was the '80s. There's not much here if you're a guy. It's typical teenage girl stuff and Hispanic girl stuff at that. I went into the mall to get something out of the comic book shop there The shop was nice and everything but I thought I'd take a stroll in the mall just to see what was going on and of course it's all clothing perfumes and people not speaking English. It felt like the UN there were so many different types of people which is fine but it just felt tired. I wish there were more businesses than catered to men. I will admit this mall as much better than the summit Mall at that but, as a guy you're going to do a lot of sitting around and carrying bags for the ladies.

The mall is completely enclosed and easy to find. Parking is good with spacious lots. There are some wonderful stores there, including JC Penney, Macy's, and a number of smaller stores plus kiosks, Cinnabon was there, Starbucks has a wonderful spot in the middle of the center, with comfortable chairs and tables spread around to rest on and enjoy a coffee. All in all, it was an average experience. Standard shopping plaza with many stores that are offered at other malls. However, noted the CLEAN common areas, & a cute small play area for littler children. . We did not have overwhelming success in our shopping- wasn't looking for anything specific, but picked up some Adidas Shoes that were on sale for my sons Birthday that's in 5 days. Happy Shopping!

We went to Meadowood mall today. We didn't have a reason, just wanted to go people watching on Christmas Eve. It was a tradition before Covid, and we wanted to pick it up when it was safe. Seeing all the people dressed in their Christmas outfits, onesies, and jammies, was awesome! It's fun to see all the kids who are excited to see Santa, and it was really nice to see how kind the people at the Santa picture place were to customers. We didn't get pictures taken or stand in line to see Santa, but we were close enough to see the kindness that they showed to others. Everybody that we saw working at the mall seemed excited, whereas some of the customers weren't so excited. It really made me appreciate that my kids are grown. The little kids weren't the problem, but teenagers mouthing off to their parents. It made me sad, but it was great to know that we could go to the mall and watch, grab a Starbucks, Build a bear, and get pretzel bites and pretzel dogs, and they didn't have a problem with us just sitting to enjoy the atmosphere. My daughter noticed an obviously purposely made disgusting mess in the bathroom, and she told somebody and they were there to clean it immediately! Makes me feel safer. All in all, it was a great day.

I am not a mall person. We came to this mall because it was too cold to walk outside. I'm very impressed. They print a little map you carry around. Pick one up at the big map sign. Very handy. I don't really like to shop. I'm more of an Amazon person. And my recollection of malls was that you walk in to go to stores. But Meadowood has fun things like MASSAGE CHAIRS you can feed money into. And if that's not personal enough there is a massage team that sets up massage chairs for quickie back & neck massages. There were lots of things to amuse me as I got my steps in. And yes. One store actually sucked me in. A new store that sells signs. It's called CalNeva Homemade. It's very unique. I have to admit, I can't find the type of CUSTOM signs on Amazon that I can buy in this store. I can actually imagine going back to Meadowood just for fun. And probably to buy a sign!

This mall has a little of everything. I tend to shop here more frequently during the holiday. There are several little kiosks that are only seasonal. I love the little original Christmas ornaments that you can personalize. I usually get one every year. This mall also house's a Santa village. If you are looking to get Santa photo's this is the place for you. Some of the stores it houses are Cinnabon, Macy's, JC Penny's and lots of restaurants too. The stores here offer art, clothing, food, home decor, small appliances, sports gear, photography etc. I know many who come here to do their mall walk and keep in shape.

Meadowood mall is a fine mall for a city the size of Reno. If you live in a larger city then a smaller, single story mall like this will certainly seem insufficient. The store selection is pretty good and the prices are what you would expect at a mall. Customers seem to lose their intelligence and sense of manners when they walk through the door as a huge majority of people have no regard for others once inside and repeatedly stop with their entire group in the middle of the walk isles. Perhaps this is exaggerated by the smaller size of this mall. Christmas time is pretty busy and it feels like there should be more sales and Christmas specials than there are. All in all a decent shopping spot for the biggest little city but prices are certainly higher than you can find outside of the mall.

What can I say, it is an indoor mall, which means that we have to deal with crowds from time to time. So taking out the major negative from the crowd, I will focus on what I do like about the place: Lots of parking A few stores that I do enjoy going to Decent food court Cheesecake factory

It's been at least a year since I've been in the mall itself Not a huge fan of malls- stores full of pricey items I'm not willing to buy. But we were bored and wanted to walk where it was warm. They did a huge remodel a few years ago and it shows. The mall seems very clean and nice and bright. There aren't too many empty spaces any more. And all the usual store you expect- Sear, Macy's, JCPennys, Maurices, Forever 21 and Kays. Also a small food court and some scattered other spots- dipping dots and Cinnabon. The one spot that did stand out to me was in the middle of the mall. set up kind a like a large living room. Several large leather sofas on a carpeted area with charging stations. For anyone to hang out in but pretty full of hubbys that didn't look like they wanted to be in the mall. At least they were comfy. Parking is just like any other mall. Depending on where you want to go in at, the spots can be full- Macy's and Cheesecake Factory, or easy to walk right into by JCPennys.

I took the RTC #1 line to the end and the bus took me at the Meadowland Mall. A very big mall with Macy's, JC Penney, Sears and Sport's Authority as the anchor stores and same stores you see at any mall: Foot Locker, Cinnabon, Victoria Secrets, Bath and Body Works and yes, the Disney Store to name a few. The mall's Border's Express is bigger than some of the other Border's I've visited. The University of Nevada Reno store is also in the mall. Students gets 20% off any purchase. The food court comprises with Orange Julius/DQ, Hot Dog on a stick, Sbarro, McDonalds, Flaming Wok and of course Starbucks to name a few. I didn't come to the mall to eat mall food. I decided to get ahead start on my Holiday-shopping for my family. I got something sexy from Victoria Secrets for wife to wear and to steam my glasses for the holidays. I bought my son a kid's jersey from the Kid's Foot Locker. Finally, my daughter recently picked up the game of Chess, and she is good too, by kicking my ass several times. Like dad, she likes the Peanuts too. We made the drive over from taking a break at the casino. Tons of stores and good discounts! We found lots of good deals and we actually ran out of time and couldn't visit all the stores we wanted to. People were spread out and minding their business. I defin will return if in the area.

Being the one and only mall in Northern Nevada, this mall does its job pretty good. A convenient central location within the Reno-Sparks metropolitan area, right off the super convenient Meadowood Mall Way exit off I-580/Hwy 395 - this serves as a haven for those out of town tourists and locals alike to experience indoor shopping & dining within an enclosed establishment. Knowing that the area gets extreme weather conditions - snow in the winter & blazing heat in the summer, having this enclosed mall can be a real treat to avoid those extremes, for locals especially & tourists, as well! Tons of ample parking surround the mall's vicinity - and has a unique, semi-circular design - with a straight corridor that's bursting with chain stores & local mom & pop businesses that's only unique to Reno! You can find pretty much the typical mall store here - keep in mind that there's no luxury or high-end boutiques here, though - you gotta go to Southern Nevada for those, haha! (or back to Northern California, lol). A notable feature they have is their diverse selection of quick-service eateries within their Food Court, in addition, to having a small casino & the one and only full-service dine-in restaurant, The Cheesecake Factory - located near several mall entrances. In addition, due to the current pandemic, they have established & enhanced safety measures and protocols to help fight the spread of COVID-19, keeping their customers and tenants as safe as possible. They have hand sanitizing stations available throughout the mall and inside stores - not to mention, ample signage promoting CDC guidelines for maintaining personal hygiene & social distancing - 6 feet away, yo! If you need a break from the casinos and outdoor adventures, this enclosed mall is here for you! Highly recommend to get your steps in, along with some window shopping and bargain hunting here!!

It's just a mall, but I have a soft spot for any and all malls since I never grew up near one and still don't live near one. It's silly but I consider it kind of a "treat" to get to visit a mall, so I could be biased. But I feel it's laid out well and has lots of nice food court options. There are some stores I am used to seeing in malls that I didn't see here, but I guess I can't be too hard on them about it. Not every mall is gonna be the same. Overall I still enjoyed visiting and looking around and what they did have. No real complaints from any of my visits, and I am sure I will end up here again at some point!

This is your typical shopping mall. There are the standard big department stores (Macy's, Sear, JC Penny), along with a wide range of smaller stores selling everything from clothing to cell phones, to vitamins. there is a decent selection of food in the food court, though there seems to be a new one every 6-8 months, while another one drops out. They have recently redone the flooring on the inside, and included a few seating areas, as well as a small kid play area near JC Penny. It does get a little busy on the weekends, so be prepared for a full parking lot, especially around the food entrance areas.

The latest round of remodels and additions of stores have really boosted this mall upwards in the charts. It is still not the best, largest or most diverse but when you need something in your hand the same day it's a great stop. My latest favorite is the addition of H&M. I used to have to wait until I drove to Roseville to get my hands on some H&M goodies. Overall, it's trying - I give it that. It's defiantly not there yet though.

Please read complete review. Parking is easy, food is good and mall is clean and friendly. Here is my issue and I hope Simon's mall management reads: I came from out of state on vacation with my family and children. I tried to use a ATM machine inside and the machine wouldn't let me withdraw money because it said" Unable to process request" But the ATM company put a temp hold on those funds that was eventually a with draw, Although it denied me. I'm a business owner, home owner, don't do drugs with no criminal reccord and have little children. If this money would have been the only cash in my account and I was out of state, I wouldn't have had gas money to get my family home. I had to file a fraud claim with my bank who of course blocked my card when I was traveling out of state with children. After several days that bank refunded the money and decided to go after the ATM company located inside the mall. Again I have other resources so I was fine, but the additional stress and if that was all the money I had it would have killed us. Why is this your problem ? Because if you continue to do business with this company you are supporting a criminal organization. If a customer uses this service they are putting themselves in great harm. It was the worst thing to ever happen to me and my family and I travel all over the world.

Built in 1978 - it was the place I begged my grandmother, aunts, uncles and cousins to take me when it was 1st built. So it was fitting that my uncle wanted me to take him to the "mall" on his last visit. It's a mall. Unfortunately there's a lot of "going out of business" sales. Malls are becoming a thing of the past. The 2 big boys are there Macy's & JC Penny's. We hit them both. We grabbed a coffee at Starbucks in the center of the mall. New rules for middle aged & senior mall visits: Wear comfortable shoes If you use a can regularly or occasionally bring it Walking the mall is not as fun as it was in the 80s so have a plan of the stores you want to hit and park near that locale. It was fun and goofy to hang in the mall for a morning. I've heard they have walking groups that meet there regularly to get in their steps in. If you haven't been in a while it's worth a trip to check it out....who knows how long we'll have them.

Five stars for JC Penney..... Scored. The gym clothes are on sale. Fall and winter fashions are out and spring and summer fashions are in. Cute shirts for $9.99! The Mall is a really nice place to go when it's hot or cold outside. I like to walk around and window shop, dodge the yummy smelling cinnabons, dream about cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory, and ohhhhhh the shoes.... Macy's has some super cute clothes right now - Free People for us Boomer, ode to be a hippie again type people. I have been a patron of the Meadowood Mall since the 90's. It's practically the only mall that has survived Reno (RIP _ Parklane Mall). Sears is an anchor store, but the quality of clothing for women is going downhill. JC Penney seems to have some good finds and Macy's has super cute stuff but can be pricey. I like Dick's Sporting Goods. Great selection of athletic shoes. The Mall can get crowded on weekends and during the holidays, but pretty much, most of the time, it is mellow. Glad we have it here in Reno!

This mall comes and goes with being a decent mall. It always seams like they are moving stores around and remodeling an old shop for a new one to take it's place. There are a couple of good food spots in the food court. But most of my favs have left years ago. There is also a Cinnabon on the far end of the mall from the food court. I was saddened when I walked into Hot Topic and it was all "trendy" and not the "scary, death-like" store that mom's would take their little kids on the other side so they didn't see kind of store. **Yeah... I was that kind of kid** I was really happy though when they brought in Spencers. That is another favorite store of mine. Also there are a few body jewelry places located through out the middle "pop-up" shops as I call them. And one in an unit. This really for the most part a one stop shopping spot if you are getting things other than food. We also used to come here to visit Santa and the Easter Bunny when the kids were smaller.

Horrible EV charging. This mall has EV charging, but the cost of it is unfair for what you are getting. It has two Chargepoint parking stalls by the Macy's. The way the sign is written it seems at first that the charging is free, but that is only for the parking itself, which is misleading because the whole mall has free parking for all vehicles. The actual charging costs 40c / kwhr for slow level 2 charging. That price is insane. A mall should have EV charging as an incentive to get you to want to shop there. It should be free or offered at the cost of electricity, which is around 10c / kwhr in Nevada. Maybe a cent or two markup for cost of installing the chargers. But 40c is insane. Frankly I do not want to return to this mall over this. The stores themselves are like any other mall, but Simon group should fix this.

I love this place ever since I was a preteen I have always enjoyed hanging out at the mall.

There child playground is still closed. Now that the vaccine is open its common sense to open it back up. Anyhow the only thing for kids to play on is the car. IT DOESN'T WORK! It just takes you're money. It allows you to use your card but that doesn't work you can only give it cash and even then it's your money. Since no one carries cash anymore of course we went to the Cinnabon line to get change and we were forced to buy some thing. Meanwhile a line of people behind us are irritated because they want their kids to play on the car too. Because it's the only thing that kids can plan on.... The people at Cinna bun shorted us to keep a tip for themselves I'm sure. It's just irritating when you have children and other peoples children all crying and screaming because there's nothing available for them. Are used to come to the mall because it was the easiest place to keep my children out of that weather and give them a place to play and also get some shopping done. Now it's nothing but a nightmare even though the vaccine is out.

Kinda a decent mall but some areas are like super not the vibe. It's kinda dirty and crowded and there's some big stores but the rest are like random local stores. It feels old inside and kinda musty if I'm being honest but I guess if you need to pick something up quick it's cool.

I enjoy this mall because of the variety of shops here. Although I haven't eaten at the food court, the mall is generally clean and not too packed on a weekday. I found what I needed and enjoy browsing all the neat things the stores have to offer. Parking was super easy as well!

This mall is exhausting. To the max! Like, the max max! Although it does possess the added charm of having Paul Blart, Mall Cop type security. I mean, that's why it got the second star. The layout just makes absolutely no sense at all. Like, you have to backtrack down every hall to get back to a new hall. It's set up like a central nervous system. If you need to get your steps in, though, this is the place!!!

Oh! They got pretzels, a hobby shop with Gunpla and Transformers, a GameStop that had Gundam capsule toys, and plenty of custom t shirts I could pay and print out for my own sake. I wish they had a Yoshinoya with all the items though, then I'd go there nonstop.

Pretty good mall for Reno it is what it is they need to have better selections for clothing stores and step it up on one more good restaurant the food court is no Bueno but I'm not bad place to go in the winter but the outside malls Are more my cup of tea in the summertime

Well, in my opinion one of the best way to properly judge a city is by checking out it's local mall. I like to look at malls for a lot of different reasons....I feel a mall is the way you learn the style of the city. You also get to learn the tastes, the flow and the over all vibe that the city has going on. I've visited the Meadowood Mall a few times before my Yelping days, but now I'm a Yelper and why not leave a little review. So here we go.... This is a one story mall, it's located in what I would consider the uptown area of Reno. It's a pretty decent sized mall for what it's worth considering it's a one story operation. I would consider this mall on the level of lets say....The Great Mall in Milpitas as far as size and offerings go, minus the Dave and Busters. It has your usual Macys and your Foot Locker for all you sneaker heads out there, it has a Game Stop for those of you that like to play video games and such, but the star attraction here in my opinion is....."The Food Court" I like a mall with a decent food court. I like food and being a "foodie" anything to munch on is good in my book, they don't have your usual typical food court restarunts here, May I recommend that if you come here and like sushi, that you try out Santa Cruz Sushi! I also like the Soribol in here better than the one in the Westfield SF. Although this is a Reno area mall, the shops and sports stores here do cater a lot to bay area sporting teams, seeing that Reno has no major league teams of their own except for a few minor league affiliates The Reno Ace's being one of them (Arizona Diamondbacks MiLB team) But if you are ever in town and need Warriors, Raiders, A's, Giants and Niners gear..you are in luck here. Another thing I like about this mall is that it has a few chill areas and unlike most malls I've visited in recent times, they have charging stations for your mobile devices which I think is the bomb! because nothing more worst than being out and about and your phone is dying and you have no charger with you. Plus it is a total let down when you can't yelp like you want to because your phone is about to die no bueno! In my closing, this mall will supply you with a great shopping experience, it's got everything that I think one would like to see if you plan to spend some cash or window shop. This mall is kinda a teenie bopper mall so be prepared to see a lot of Justin Beiber and Selena Gomez fans here..I think it's because the fact that Reno doesn't have a lot to do for the youngsters. It isn't as bad as everyone says. It has pretty nice stores and isn't crazy crowded. The food court has a modest selection of foods ranging from Asian options, pizza, cheesesteak to hot dog on a stick. Generally, it's pretty spacious and well kept. All in all, a good place to hang out after a day on the slopes. The kids like shopping there and they generally have good sales at most of the stores. Anchor stores include Macy's, JC Penneys, American Eagle, Aeropostale, Victoria's Secret, Eddie Bauer, See's Candy, and more. Other nearby mall options include The Summit, which offers some higher end stores and The Outlets at Legends if you prefer outlet store shopping.

Closing all restrooms except for the one in the food court makes no sense. I understand the thought process is to lessen the risks of transferring covid-19. However, condensing people to one restroom is the complete opposite of controlling the spread. You have way more traffic and people lined up to use ONE bathroom facility. This isn't helping anyone. I shouldn't have to wait 20 minutes to use the restroom. This feels inhumane (closest word I could find to justify this feeling).

Come armed with a DFWM ("Don't F*ck With Me") face. First off, if you don't know where your store is, the only reason to park anywhere is to find a shady tree with an empty spot in it. Then walk in and good luck trying to figure out where the store you want to go is located. For all you know, it's all the way in the opposite end of where you are. Next, you need to put on the DFWM face as you walk the gauntlet of kiosk sales people desperate to sell you anything from sparkly hair ornaments to eyebrow plucking. It's been 9 years since I last stepped foot in here. I'm good for another 9 until the next time.
