MEANDER Saigon

Hands down the best hostel I have ever stayed in. It truly felt like luxury from the moment we arrived. The service and hospitality were exceptional and the staff made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. The rooms are beautiful and the beds are incredibly comfortable. They will even provide a softer pillow and slippers if you need them, which is such a thoughtful touch. The bathrooms are spotless and the showers are amazing, fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I also loved that they have a straightener and blow dryer available for guests to use. The communal kitchen is well stocked and includes a fridge to keep your groceries, which is super convenient. The co working space is a great addition, although I do wish it stayed open a bit later. The location is fantastic, within 10-15 min walk to all the key spots in District 1, which made exploring the city so easy. Truly zero complaints. This place is absolutely worth the money for a hostel bed. It felt like we were staying in a five star hotel. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had an amazing stay at Meander Saigon Hostel! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the modern and chic atmosphere. We were lucky to stay in a room with a bath, which was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the city.||||The location is ideal – everything we wanted to see and do in Saigon was just a short walk away, from lively attractions to fantastic restaurants.||||We also really appreciated the extra amenities – the well-equipped kitchen was great for cooking our own meals, and the coworking space was perfect for getting some work done. Plus, there’s even a slide to take you between floors – a fun and unique touch we absolutely loved!||||The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. Meander Saigon Hostel is the perfect spot for anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and affordable place to stay in Saigon. We highly recommend it!

Having lived in HCMC before, coming back to visit, we found this hotel really great for all kinds of travellers —whether you’re solo, with friends, a pair of ladies, or on a business trip. The location is convenient, and it’s just a nice place to stay overall. There’s a convenient store just around the corner, perfect for a quick late-night snack, grabbing essentials, or if the weather keeps you inside. Delivery is easy too, which is super convenient. We loved that the standard room comes with a queen-size bed and decent space. The only minor downside was the limited space for hanging clothes, the rack provided was very minimal. Occasionally, there was a slight sewage smell in the toilet, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. Having a water dispenser in the corridor outside the rooms was another handy touch. We stayed at the end of September 2026, just before National Day, and noticed the floor outside was under construction. During the rainy season, it could be pretty dangerous, so we hope it’s all fixed now. I would also like to give a big thank you to the staff at the reception for being so accommodating with all my Shopee hauls, which took up a lot of space for a few days before my arrival. The hotel also has a coworking space, which we didn’t use, but I’m sure many digital nomads would appreciate. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Cons: The bathroom gets dirty in the evenings and the shower lacks a shelf. The room is very cold. Pros: Central location, clean linens and towels, good water pressure in the bathroom, the price matches the quality and location, friendly staff.

Amazing hostel that is so so so nice and clean. It’s definitely more expensive but it really provides that luxury feel. The bed was so comfortable, the pillow I found was too hard but they offer different pillows which I absolutely loved and after that I had a great night sleep. The location is great, walkable distance to where you need to go and easily get grabs. It’s as social as you make it! Overall amazing and would stay again. The only thing I did not like is how strong the scent was in the corridors, it must be like cleaning/air freshener smell! Also the room I was in can get cold but they do offer another blanket if you need. Thank you Meander❤️

After travelling for so long, I can honestly say this is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in by far. I stayed in an all female dorm - the rooms are clean, the beds are big and spacious, the pillows are comfy, not one single thing I would change. The bathrooms are also always super clean, and the showers are lovely (come with shampoo, condition, and body wash - with a great shower pressure). Not too much of a social aspect if that’s what you’re used too, if you need that break it works well, but if you want social it can definitely be social. I couldn’t recommend this enough, especially if you’re a traveller looking for something a bit nicer that won’t break the bank

Anna, Si and the rest of the crew were absolutely amazing! Anything I needed at my stay was resolved almost instantly, they are true and hard working service workers. I had no complaints during my stay. Just to name two things I enjoyed during my stay were the friendly cleaning staff who asked if I needed anything every morning and the random desserts they would leave for us in the kitchen area with a delicious tea for all the guests. When I come back to Saigon, this will be the place I stay and also the place I recommend to everyone.

Amazing hostel in every aspect. The environment is new, super clean, and really cool, you can tell a lot of care has gone into the design and details. The staff is outstanding: extremely friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. They gave great advice on where to eat and helped me with transportation as well. A special mention goes to Anna, who guided me during the free walking tour organized by the hostel. Thanks to her, I discovered new places around the city and learned a lot, it was truly interesting and well done. Highly recommended.
