Best butcher in Bukit Timah. I’ve been coming here for 9 years and the meat is superb quality and not over priced. Quality chicken, and delicious lamb! Good beef cuts too. The staff are always so helpful. Plus there’s a lovely little cheese section and deli tucked in the back. Love this spot.

Good meat at fair prices and friendly staff. Most of the meat is imported from overseas. I bought a frozen St Louis Style Ribs from the US at $29.5 per kilo, a baby back ribs at $19.5 per kilo and a pack of five German sausages for $11. They also sell more rare stuff like quail, cured meats (pancetta) , cooked meats (home cooked roast beef was $6 per 100g), sauces and condiments. Note that they close from 2+ to 3pm for lunch.

We purchased a leg of lamb today ($33), it didn't smell quite right when we got home, but thought it'd be fine, so put it in the oven to cook. Unfortunately the smell remained upon cooking it, so much that we couldn't stomach eating it. I wish we had seen the previous google reviews re: 'freshness' of the meat and refusal to refund, as we would never have bought our Saturday night lamb dinner from here and never will again.

Got a couple of racks of baby back ribs and a pack of frozen satay sticks. Both were excellent. With ribs - the quality of meat makes a huge difference in how they turn out - and I have been struggling to find the right combination of quality at a decent price. This is the sweet spot! The satay was excellent too - very juicy meat and the included peanut sauce was perfect. Will be going back for sure.

I came here to buy beef for BBQ as the shop I regularly visited was closed on PH. I couldn’t tell the quality as the beef was sealed when I decided to purchase. unfortunately it was found out that the meat costed me 200+ was not really fresh. This made me feeling sorry to as my 10 guests. I write this by hoping the shop could improve and buyers should be alert to the freshness of your BBQ meat as well.

The meat is decent but I have to agree with some of the reviewers that there is some weird smell in the shop. I believe it's the packaging. There is a distinct plastic smell emanating from the packaging a bit like the smell you get from a garden water hose that penetrates the meat even after placing it the fridge. I suggest meat the butcher to try a different type of packaging because it really affects the smell of the meat.

Bought 2 piece of NZ ribeye steak. It was already had cut and wrapped piece by piece so couldn’t know the freshness from the outside. I cooked stakes that night just after few hours. Very disappointed with the stakes were not fresh especially the one piece was really smelly before I cook. The cooked stake was very smelly as ever had and I stopped to eat after 2 bites…. I hope they will provide better meats if they call oneself “ Butcher”

Really a Great neighborhood butcher. Always helpful and can be easy to get a variety of meats, cut in the way you want. I find their cheeses and deli meats to be priced very well. It's also sliced on demand, not prepackaged (for deli). Easy to order for special occasions.
