After reading the other reviews I was excited to try this pizza place. Yes, they have a wood burning oven and it smells great inside, but the pizza is all dough with little toppings. I ordered the meatball pie because the place is named ‘Meatballs” and there was less than one meat ball chopped up and spread across the entire pie. If you like a lot of dough, then this place is for you.

My daughter goes to WCU, she’s 8 hours away & homesick for Mommas cooking. I ordered easily on their menu. I also called to ask if they could put everything separate. Everything was EXCEPTIONAL! The customer service over the phone & my daughter’s interaction with staff both above average. I’m sorry I can’t remember the sweet girls name that answered the phone (The name ended in Annie I believe). My daughter said she LOVED the vibe & everyone was super friendly. The food did not disappoint, my daughter said she couldn’t help but eat an extra meatball. The bread was super fresh & DON’T skip the Mississippi Mud Pie.

Had a great pint at Innovation Brewing with a pizza from next-door Meatballs Pizza. Loved both! The pizza was fantastic, and the IPA refreshing. Highly recommend the combination!

5 Stars – Worth Every Bite! We’re visiting from Saint Augustine, Florida, and almost didn’t come because of some of the recent reviews — but WOW are we glad we did! Honestly, those negative reviews must’ve come from folks having a bad day or relying on DoorDash (which never does a place like this justice). Don’t let them steer you wrong. The moment we took our first bite, we had to ask if they used “00” flour — the crust immediately reminded us of V’s Pizza in Jax, which is saying a LOT. It was light, crisp, and had that perfect chew that only great dough can give you. We ordered Karen’s Meatball Pizza and a classic Pepperoni, and both were absolutely incredible. You can taste the freshness in every single ingredient — nothing processed or bland here. The flavors popped and everything felt homemade in the best way. This is one of those rare gems you’re thrilled to stumble upon while traveling. We’ll be talking about this place long after the trip — and if we’re ever back in Sylva, we’re definitely coming back!

My number one pizza place in western north carolina and the best pizza i've ever had!! The sauce is perfect. Their customer service is great. Their product was well explained. So you could quickly order, we got a pepperoni Pizza and a meatball sub. And everything was exceptional, it's a 30 minute drive from us. I'm ready to go back this weekend.

We were passing through and decide to stop for pizza. What a great find! Sourdough pizzas Porco Supremo was amazing! It was chewy, perfectly cooked and a great blend of flavors from the toppings. They also have a range of yeast pizzas which are rectangular shaped and bigger than the sourdough pizza and pizzas by the slide. There are so many creative pizzas that we would like to try so I am sure we will be back!

I went in to order a cheese pizza to go, I asked the staff member about the options. She mentioned that their large pizza came with 6 slices and cost was $25.00. At that price, I assumed it would be a standard large size—my mistake for not asking for the exact dimensions. When the pizza was ready, I was shocked at how small it was. I thought, “Well, maybe it tastes amazing.” Unfortunately, it didn’t. The pizza had the absolute bare minimum of sauce and cheese that they could get away with and still call it a pizza, and was dry and bland. Even the kids, who usually love any kind of pizza, commented on how flavorless it was—which really says something. I’m honestly surprised they charge that much for what we received. Perhaps the dine-in experience is better, but based on this takeout order, I’m sorry to say but we won’t be returning.
