Google
Great food and service. For two adults and a child, we ordered the iberico 3 yr, meat and cheese board for 2, smoked fish trio, caviar, cast-iron goat cheese & n’duja (+ xtra bread), an old fashioned, an el cadiz, and a blood orange soda. Being caviar virgins, we splurged on the Belgium caviar and are so glad we did…even our grade schooler was left wanting more. Would have liked more bread with the smoked fish instead of chips. Clean plate club!!

Google
Wow! What an unexpectedly good place. This is actually great food, not just “good for a mountain town” good. Interesting menu with Spanish items you won’t find elsewhere like real jamon iberico. Highly recommendable to folks who like good food.

Google
One our favorite places to grab lunch in Steamboat. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, they have delicious sandwiches, salads, wine, cocktails, and more! We recently had our wedding and couldn’t think of a better team to cater our rehearsal dinner.

Google
What a great lunch experience! Great Spanish wine by-the-glass selection, craft cocktails, and Italian carbonated drinks. All meat, cheeses, and accoutrement were beautifully paired. Prosciutto sandwhich was fantastic as well. Simple ingredients handled with care and intent made for a memorable experience. Service was great. We were met with warmth and recommendations. Atmosphere is unique and charming. We had to pick up some honey, tinned scallops and fish, and goat cheese chocolate from their shop. Love supporting independent businesses with a passion for their customers!

Google
This was a wonderful surprise. Greatly enjoyed the sandwiches and wine. The goat-cheese cheese cakes was delicious and certainly unique for anything in Steamboat Springs.

Yelp
Such a fun little spot! Great cocktails and the best n/a selection in town. An amazing cheese plate and tapas style menu. They also have a great little imported foods section for you to take home. Delish!

Yelp
I stopped in for a drink with 3 friends. My ordered 2 double vodkas. They charged us $25 per drink. Come on! What a rip off. Not going back there again.

Yelp
We stopped by for lunch after a day on the mountain. We sat at the bar area and had an excellent experience. The service was amazing and they gave great recommendations. Even better that it's woman owned and operated!

Yelp
Nice atmosphere! Had the wine and platter for two. Delicious combo of items to eat that went with our wine. You are also able to purchase food items in the store as well. A must stop on Lincoln street while in Steamboat Springs, CO

Yelp
Unhappy because I don't live in Steamboat Springs. We ate at Meatbar earlier this week and I am still thinking about this lovely lunch we had. We each had individual charcuterie boards with the most unique and tasty selection of all the little special extras that come with the very best meats and cheeses. Sorry I only remember the name of one the meats. It was speck. We also each had wine and I chose the Tempranillo. It went so well with everything. Hopefully my photo will illustrate just how attractive and delicious a well selected charcuterie board can be!

The Basic Blonde ..

Yelp
Such a cute unique place with amazing food! I am a huge charcuterie and wine lover so this place was right up my alley. I ordered the parchetta sandwich which was recommended by the staff (who are all so nice!) and it was delicious- great spice to it. I'm visiting steamboat for a week and will definitely be back for another lunch. The perfect lunch spot. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Meatbar is an extraordinary new (2021) addition to Steamboat's Lincoln Avenue gourmet food offerings and a must-visit stop for a sandwich downtown. This is the store for Laura the Butchers catering operations. (www.laurathebutcher.com) Think high-end Spanish Jamon ham, cheeses, mustards, European meat delicacies, Laura's signature charcuterie boards, mustards and many food delicacies. A recent Steamboat Pilot explained the concept: https://www.steamboatpilot.com/news/laura-the-butcher-opens-meatbar-in-new-downtown-steamboat-location. As you can tell... I am a fan. Other downtown Steamboat gourmet provisioners include: Steamboat Seafood and Elevated Olive.

Yelp
Great spot, so exciting to have a place like this in Steamboat. The sandwich's were so tasty, reminded me of those in Italy. The porchetta banh mi was so full of flavor & the prosciutto & mortadella were really good as well. Will definitely have to try their charcuterie boards as well, they looked amazing.

Lauren S.

Yelp
Stopped in for some charcuterie and a bottle of wine. Added burrata and the sofrito (yum!) and made it dinner. If you like quality cured meats, honeycomb, chocolates, etc, this is the place. Dine in, take out, or shop for goodies.

Yelp
This was the highlight of our week's vacation - and we ate at a LOT of places. Bites were all delicious and unique. We ordered the iberico (4yrs), smoked nuts, breads & butters, and burrata, plus the bees knees drink. Everything was on point. The nuts were insanely delicious - so many flavors (bacon, sweet, savory), there were 3 butters (a blueberry balsamic one, a fennel something one, and a truffle honey butter) - truffle honey was the stand out star - unreal. Burrata was fabulous and i can't say enough about how insanely delicious the Iberico was - wow. The bees knees drink was great, also served in a super cute white/gold glass. The service was great - friendly, didn't rush us at all, and just over the top nice and added to the wonderful experience. I think this was the first week they were doing dinner service & I truly hope they do well because it was a fresh & truly amazing experience.

Yelp
Wonderful sandwiches and gourmet items. Legendary charcuterie, wines and chocolates. Laura's new location is a definite uptick for food in Steamboat.

Yelp
Amazing selection of high quality Spanish meat! Ordered a meatcone to go that was delicious

Yelp
Hidden gem in Steamboat if you're a foodie. Curated (not just cured!) meats, in a hip, comfortable space. My fave is the brie, fig and arugula on a toasted baguette...they add a few slices of jamon on request. While haven't ordered, we have watched them assemble the most gorgeous charcuterie boards. The full dine-in menu is pretty amazing too...solid, drinkable wine menu and spot on, inventive small plates. Sophisticated, but the service is super nice and down to earth. A good place to pick up imported delicacies, specialty chocolates, local comb-on honey.
