We love Meatery! I honestly can’t say how many times we’ve been here over the years – but every single time, the food has been absolutely outstanding. By now, we’ve tried almost everything on the menu, and all I can say is: the Meatery is a true culinary highlight, one of a kind. Last time we had the beef tatar Mediterranean, Burrata & Chunky Cowder as starters, followed by the beef fillet, baked in salt crust, the brisket and some sides. As deserts we had chocolate brownie with thyme icecream and the half-baked cookie (these were to fast gone to make a picture). Everything was delicious, as always. I also quickly want to mention the friendly, fast and amazing service. Every single time, they were very welcoming and attentive. If you like good food and especially if sou are a meat-lover, you better don‘t miss out on the meatery! A visit to the botanist bar afterwards has become a ritual. Also very recommended!

My husband and I went for dinner to celebrate our first anniversary. We thought it must be worth spending this kind of money. Everything starting great even though prices are quite high. Dinner was ok however service could be better for the amount you are paying. Once our main course was served our waitress completely disappeared and we had to get up to serve our self’s wine as we wanted wine with our main course and not later. When we finished dinner we asked for the desserts and this is when for our surprise the answer was the kitchen is closed… really? You are paying over 100€ per person for a dinner and you just get the answer that the kitchen is closed and you can’t have dessert? This is really not professional. Leaving your customers half way done with dinner. :( If you don’t want to be disappointed with the service then don’t go to this restaurant. Sorry.. I can’t recommend.

I’ve traveled the world and experienced some of the most exclusive dining destinations across the globe. This, by far, is the best steak I have ever had. The starter tuna tartare was exceptional, and the drinks were perfectly crafted. If you find yourself in Hamburg and crave an unforgettable steak, this is the place to go, nothing else comes close.

I loved this establishment. The staff was quick and polite, and most importantly, they were very professional in service. The drinks were strong and they steak as cook to perfection. The restaurant had lovely ambience and character. Nice upscale eating experience

We had the beef tartar, the carpaccio and the porterhouse. They were fresh, well executed and tasteful. There are plenty of choices when it comes to drinks and also the wines. The personnel is helpful and well trained. A pleasant experience overall.
