I have purchased a lot of things over the years to face the rainy 🌧️ weather in Vancouver. However, I have never purchased instant meals for my travels. So, I purchased a few freeze dried meals, just in case I need them. I must say that I was quite impressed 🥳by the quality and taste of the food🍛. My favorite was chicken and rice🍚🍗, spaghetti with meatballs🍝, beef stew🥩🥕🥔🫛, in that particular order. I also tried the beef chilli, but I didn’t like it, it seemed that it didn’t hydrate very well, but the water didn’t seem hot enough, that was out of my control. The kettle perhaps wasn’t working good enough. So, I will give it another try at some point again. Average prices for each meal was about 15/16 Canadian dollars, (plus gst?) I have to confirm on that. I will definitely get some of these meals again and keep them for emergencies, since they are good for 29 years, if not more😲! Note that some meals are less than 100 grams and some are a little more than that. So, for a hungry person, you might need two meals to fully satisfy your hunger. Of course, the staff 🧍🏼♂️🧍🏼🧍🏽♀️are always so helpful in directing me to the right areas to find what I need. They are friendly and very eager to help. The store is super organized and clean, it makes it easier to find what you need and the experience quite pleasant. 🫶🏾❤️💚😍
