It was a total disappointment! The place is beautiful because it's like an open & lighted cave but the customer service was awful! Slow, unattentive, the table was full and they didn't bring us another table but manage to have more tables for the arriving new customers and it was shameful that we had to wait 15 minutes standing waiting for another chair. The food is a mess, worst than a fast food restaurant. They don't have vegetarian/vegan options and when they said the hamburger could be adapted I specifically asked if the mushrooms were fresh (otherwise I wouldn't ordered it) and they answered a big YES, well guess what? They weren't fresh, maybe the can were it came was fresh 🙈 It was a total odyssey even to pay. The only good and enjoyable thing of the night was the girls duet singing & playing: @imbellbess oh WOW! What a beautiful voice! They definitely have to change management of the entire place. What a huge disaster! Therefore, right now I DON'T RECOMMEND this place AT ALL!

A wonderful place to catch a drink or two, we had just missed the 2 for 1. So a lil disappointing, but the drinks tasted great. The downside was the lack of alcohol in our drinks, I had two and I’m a 140 pound male. Yet I barley felt a tad of it

Great place. Exquisite food and a great variety of drinks.

Because of a condition I'm not able to eat meat nor spinach, since the only option without meat was spinach dip I asked the waiter to ask the chef if he can make something vegetarian outside the menu. The waiter refused to ask the chef and said that wasn't the first time somebody asked that and they don't have another option. Later, my wife spoke with the chef and he offered to make some grilled veggies and a couple of other options but that was to late, we were about to leave. The waiter prevented me to have a dinner there so I won't go again, even though the place was nice and Chuchy Mullens music was beautiful as usual. Worst service ever!

Love the setting, the ambiance, and the music. We had an issue with the waiter (he forgot to order our food, then the kitchen closed, and when we asked him he said it was coming.... for 40 minutes before we finally asked above him). Thankfully, the owner, Juan Guerra, has a knack for customer service and covered the bill for us. That gesture will undoubtedly have me returning again and again. I can't even count the number of times subpar service has been shrugged off in Santo Domingo. This is the first time a place showed genuine care and interest for me as a patron, and I will definitely be back. Plus, the location is stunning.

very odd gallery/ bar/ resto combination. the gallery is cool/ funky, but don’t forget to explore the place as it has several floors. the mojito is nice!

Mecenas Café is an awesome place where you will have one of the best views and can have some drinks and very good food. Also inside you can appreciate great arts painting from Dominican and internstional talents. This plave is huge and there'sba lot to see. I recommended 100%
