Hello Meddys, We are in the process of trying out something new and most importantly we are craving for Indian vibes of shawarma. We tied in n number of Mediterranean places but we found our diamond in Meddys. I really love your business model as well as vibes and mostly Importantly healthy food. I understood the power of Mediterranean food and its healthy importance. I definitely recommend everyone to try this place and enjoy your happy meal and stay healthy. Items we tried are Chicken Shawarma, Falafel Shawarma, Grilled Salmon, choice is garlic potatoes. Every item is top notch and it’s worth for the price that we pay! Feedback for Meddys. I felt like garlic sauce is kinda off Tangy! Other than this everything is awesome. I am curious about why are you not introducing Other sauce’s! Can’t wait to visit you again.

Best lentil soup I’ve had, the hummus stack bowl with chicken was delicious and the pita bread was amazing with just enough of a chew.

Food is delicious and lentil soup can be a bit better like plain bland soup tastes better but service needs to improve a bit twice got the wrong order on my table .!! Tiramisu tastes good

Meddys is a must! They offer a delicious flavorful menu with hefty portions. Did I mention it's fairly priced? You order first, and it's open seating in a beautifully set up dining area. The hummus is worth ordering at this location in particular. I can't describe how well balanced the flavor profile is.

The food is excellent here and has so much flavor. The garlic chicken and potatoes were just Soo good. You also get Soo much food, and I had plenty of leftovers but I left stuffed lol. I will be back for sure!

This was our first time at Meddy’s. This location completely blew me away. We were greeted right away by the counter staff who was very friendly. The staff was incredibly helpful in understanding the menu & gave excellent recommendations. We ordered and tried to seat ourselves in the dining area but the place was so packed we resorted to the outside dining area which to our surprise turned out to be the best option! There was live music & the area was beautifully shaded & the large ceiling fans created the most amazing breeze. It was absolutely stunning for a hot July evening, the music and cool breeze made the atmosphere perfect. Once seated the lovely server brought around some bread and continued to bring the complementary bread to our table throughout the time we were there. At the table there was olive oil and a jar of seasoning blend to dip the bread in. The food was brought out quickly and hot! Each dish was phenomenal. We could taste the freshness of each of the ingredients, and all the flavors just mixed together so well. We got the kids chicken bowl, the chicken mixed plate with tabouli, the lamb mixed plate with hummus, and the lamb shwarmbaa. Everything single item was top notch. My personal favorite things were the addition of the cilantro salad and the white garlic sauce under the chicken. Service was fast, friendly, and so helpful. Atmosphere was great, clean, nice, and the live music was a great addition. The food was astoundingly delicious. It was all so incredible & we will definitely be back.

I come to Meddys for the humus. It is the smoothest and creamiest I've ever had by a loooong margin. Also has great flavor. Beyond that, the entrees are all top notch, and I'd say fairly priced. They maintain a very modern aesthetic which has its charm, but is a bit "designed by corporate" vibes. Not bad, not warm or unique.

Imagine for a moment, you planned ahead and did all your Valentine’s Day festivities the day before because why wait in a long line somewhere if you don’t have to? Imagine you had a great evening, dinner, an event, and ice cream. What could be better? Meddy’s. Meddy’s could make it better. Meddy’s in Prairie Village is ran by Mr. Johnathan Russell who is likely the most brilliant and proficient store manager I have ever met in my 30 years of life. So much so, that even though my wife and I already had an amazing pre Valentine’s Day day, I packed her and my three small babies into a car, drove nearly an hour from our home in Baldwin City, to stand in a line, in the rain, just to eat at Meddy’s on Valentines Day. The food is incredible, the ambience is relaxing, inviting, and warm, but it’s the A+++ service provided by Johnathan and his incredible crew that made it all worth it. I now eat there every Friday for lunch because I cannot get enough and I know Johnathan will be there to continue to provide me and outstanding experience, every single time.

I got one of their Big Bowls with chicken and it was delicious! The ingredients tasted very fresh! And they aren't exaggerating when they call it big. I got 2 full meals and a small one out of my bowl. I definitely had to take more than half of it to go. We sat on the side, outdoor patio which was nice. I like that they have inside and outside seating available. They also are open a little later which is great since so many places around here close rather early. We had attended an art class at the Nelson Atkins Museum and wanted to get a bite of dinner after. I'll definitely be back for another Big Bowl from Meddy's.

I normally have a great experience and haven't been for awhile because we moved a little further. There was trouble with the birthday code and then had to add something but they couldn't just add a side to my Shawwarma or start the order again. It was the only cashier and I just felt humiliated.

I was running errands in the area and was delighted to see that Meddys was nearby. I ordered online without issue and headed that way. My order was ready before the promised time and everyone I encountered was friendly. The restaurant looked like it had a nice patio. I ordered the succulent chicken: Sliced chicken breast, crispy lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and creamy garlic sauce all wrapped in pita. I opted for the sauce on the side since I wasn't eating it right away. I also ordered a side of hummus with pita only. The shawarma was delicious. The chicken was tender. The pickles aren't overwhelming. And the garlic sauce is super flavorful. The hummus is also perfection. They gave me a ton! And a ton of pita bread too! I definitely had leftovers. Delicious. I'll definitely return and recommend!

Fair warning... If you come here for Valentine's Day, you won't be the only one. There was a line out the door exactly at 5 PM on Valentine's Day. My lovely wife hopped in the line and let my pregnant self wander inside to hopefully get at least a seat to rest, if not better an actual table. It seemed impossible to find a seat when I walked in, but I casually went to the restroom, then took a few moments to look around for potentially open table. I came across the bar in the friendly bartender, asked if I wanted to seat. Of course, I said yes. I quickly called my wife and told her to get her to tushy inside and out of the cold February temperatures. She was a happy camper when she found me sitting cozy at the bar with an open seat for her next to me. I happily ordered the lemonade which was half off and she got a boozy beverage that had Prosecco. Since my wife and I both love to order two entrees to share/ try more things from the menu, we got the Garlicky Chicken ( 1/2 roast chicken, garlicky potatoes, tomato-onion relish, pickles) and ShawarmBaa (Juicy lamb stuffed pita with lettuce, onion,  peppers, and tomatoes dressed with tzatziki) with a side salad. We're pretty big eaters and normally eat dessert. However, we didn't have room for dessert which is extremely abnormal especially since I am pregnant. I highly recommend the Garlicky Chicken and it could be a shared between two people alone with an appetizer/ small salad for each person. The ShawarmBaa was amazing as well but fell short to the Garlicky Chicken. The best way to explain the atmosphere/ vice is Panera meets your favorite Greek place so homey with potential to feel intimate or social.

Mushroom soup - solid and tasty Chicken wrap with lettuce and garlic etc - tasty Took 1/2 o the wrap home for leftovers Nice touch - complimentary pita bread with Make your own EVOO and salt/pepper dipping sauce, very tasty, reminds me of the OG variant @ Bonefish Grill that was "da bomb" many years ago.

I ordered online to get a Shawarmbaa -- I don't know why that cute name creeps me out a bit. Anyway, I got there a bit early, so stepped in, not to put any pressure or anything, but sometimes orders get ready early. They were so friendly and I kind of felt bad because it seemed like they were worried I'd be upset it wasn't ready yet even though I mentioned a couple times I knew I was quite early. Anyway, they were very nice all around. I was really excited to try the item. I ordered it without lettuce and with extra onions. It looked so great when I pulled it out, although it had a lot more tomatoes on it than I was expecting. That's a me problem. I'm not a huge fan of tomatoes but was trying to leave some of the veggies on to be healthy. I ate the first half and was kind of sad. The meat was fine -- actually a really great portion, but just not as flavorful as I'd hoped. The wrap was beautifully grilled but just tasted really bitter from the grilling. It looked kind of like the grill was a little too dirty or something. I couldn't taste or see any tzatziki. The onions were there, but not flavorful. For the second half, I got out the plastic ware and dissected it to remove the wrap and tomatoes hoping that'd help. I ended up eating the meat and threw the rest away. Maybe I ordered wrong.

Ordered online. Variety of Mediterranean foods to choose from. Portion sizes are huge. Served with chips or Pita bread. Recommend if ordering to go that you order sides literally on the side. Service is fast and they will bring out to your car curbside. Beautiful inside and patio area. One photo op area that looks so cute.

Meddy's was an absolute delight! I ordered the Shawarmabaa and the Bangin' Beef, and both dishes were seriously delicious. The Shawarmabaa was packed with flavor-- the lamb was juicy and perfectly seasoned. It came wrapped in a warm, soft wrap. The tomato, lettuce, and onions inside added an element of fresh and crispiness. When ordering, I would note that the shawarmas come with different sauces and veggies inside based on the meat you choose. I personally liked the ingredients in this lamb shawarma the best. The Bangin' Beef was also quite good. Tender beef with seasoning that was warm and savory. I liked how much beef was packed inside. What I really love about this place is their free, fresh pita bread. The texture is light, fluffy, and has a little bit of a chewiness that I can't stop thinking about. It had that perfect just-out-of-the-oven warmth and a hint of toasty crispness on the outside. We sat out on the outdoor patio, which had a very stylish, chill vibe. The inside of the restaurant looked nice as well-- modern, clean, and cozy. Amazing food, great atmosphere, and friendly staff.

The food was delicious 10/10. the price point is very affordable, and the portions were generous. I had a hummus tray it was delicious and my son had the garlicky chicken and he did not have any leftovers. As far as the ambiance, I got the feeling that it was a family restaurant, kinda like iykyk lol and we didn't know lol but we were not disappointed in any way. Now the manager he was the bald guy, handsome lol he acted a little weird. Never even spoke to my son or me at all, even though he walked through about 10 times until I guess he realized we weren't going to rob the place. But even with that , the food and the rest of the staff make this place " a must return" !

As a visitor to this area, I have enjoyed 3 delicious and healthy dinners at Meddys. It seems to be a mix of Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, and Greek, all with an American flair. The bar is fully stocked, the bread with olive oil is wonderful. The service is fast. It is good for groups or individuals of all ages. I'll be back.

The jury's is still out! The sauces are the star of the show every single time. I am literally not even sure what to say and that annoys me. Yelp requires that I have a certain amount of characters before I can post a review. I just wish I could leave a better review for folks to make an informed decision! The food is okay, just nothing spectacular.

I love Meddy's!! We came on Valentine's Day and they were doing a special - women eat free. The place was PACKED but the service was amazing. This location is huge and has tons of easy parking. The food is delicious every time, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I got the Meddy's plate with chicken and it was enough for three meals. I will absolutely be back!

I really enjoyed my first visit to Meddy's Brookside location last year, so when we were in Prairie Village yesterday I eagerly took my wife here for her first Meddy's visit. Honestly I was a bit let down and underwhelmed. This time the wait in line to order was longer than what i had previously experienced and the staff seemed overwhelmed with the crowded restaurant. The place was packed with noisy kids; it seemed like a social event for a youth soccer league. My hummus bowl with lamb shawarma was average at best and this is my go to dish. The hummus was satisfactory, yet the grilled veggies and lamb was quite mushy, much different than what I was served in Brookside. With so many quality independent Mediterranean restaurants in the city, I'll probably pass on the Wichita based chain going forward.

As road weary travelers we felt lucky to find Meddys on yelp. It hit the sweet spot for value, taste, service and ambiance. When we travel we always like to try new places and Yelp makes that less daunting. We enjoyed our meal here with great service and tasty offerings. Their covered outdoor space was quite nice. Not pictured was our to-go order of lemon torte and a chocolate torte which they served in small reusable glass jars. (The packaging really impressed me and they were fresh and delish.). Only miss was the salad was heavy on stems. If I were local this place would be on my regular list!

First time here for dinner on a weekday. This place seem to be quite popular. Located in Prairie Village neighborhood. This would make a great dining place for families that live close by. But one thing though, they have a full bar inside which is not all that appropriate for families with small children. Being that it was my first time there, I wasn't too familiar with their menu. I placed an order for the Swimming Shawarma. Not what I expected. It turns out to be a handheld sandwich. It was quite tasty though. My friend had a hummus. It too was very tasty and had a great flavor. We only wish we could have gotten the pita chips instead of the bread. While waiting for our food to come out, they brought us a plate of bread to dip with olive oil at the table. For us, It was too much bread. The wait staff was attentive. The food here is very good and it's healthy. I'm sure we will be back.

Meddys is hands down the best quick dinner around! The flavors are always on point. Our go-tos are Spanish Eggplant, stacked hummus bowl, and roasted veggies. The service is also wonderful!

Yum yum yummy! Always love this place!!! Never disappoints!! I recommend going with a friend because I love to split two different meals!

Food: delicious! We enjoyed the large menu with so many options! The complimentary pita bread was chewy, soft, and fresh. The portions are large and we definitely had leftovers. We'll be back to try other items on their menu! Service: Great service! The servers were quick and checked in with you often. They made sure all of your order was out and you always had a fresh glass of ice water. Ambiance: we sat in the patio area and it was full around 12pm! They had a large screen tv playing baseball, cute photo-op wall, and fans blowing to escape the heat. It would've been perfect if they played music!

Meddy's is a new to KC chain restaurant that originated in Wichita. First of all, can I just say that I love that it came out of Wichita? People might lol at that comment, but for real, I love it when a great concept comes out of Kansas and they are in good company with some OG chains like Pizza Hut and White Castle, though it's nice to see a healthy option coming out of the heartland these days. That being said, let's dive into what's working here. First of all it's a fast casual mediterranean restaurant so I'm not necessarily looking for the best of the best when it comes to hummus etc. Meddy's is to mediterranean as Chipotle is to Mexican if you will. It's sort of its own thing, and that's not a bad thing at all. You order at the counter, they give you a number, and you find a table. At this location in Prairie Village I love that they have both indoor and outdoor seating for nice days. If you dine in, they bring you fresh pita bread, which is actually warm, and you can dip it in olive oil. Love that. Who doesn't love some warm bread and olive oil? Both times I've come here I've gotten their mediterranean salad with salmon, and it always hits the spot for a healthier lunch alternative. My only critique is that if you order to-go you'll miss out on the bread, but maybe that's just an incentive to dine in? Overall, this is a great little healthier spot to check out in you're in the area.

What can I say? I wish we had this food near home! It is order at the counter and have it brought out, but I he fare is very nicely presented. Tastes great!

Overall - Great ambience for a quick bite! I recently discovered Meddys and loved the ambience of the place. It was well decorated and the patio was a great place to sit. They also had live music the night I went! The staff were friendly and the ordering process at the counter was quick and easy. I ordered the plate, and I must say, it wasn't the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. Most of the people in my party agreed that something was missing in the flavor, but overall, it wasn't bad!

Delicious food, and they don't skimp on portions. I didn't realize this was a counter-service restaurant, but the staff was friendly, and the food came out surprisingly fast. I'm partial to table service when I go out to eat, especially on a date night, but this is a great casual option for a quick bite.

Awesome place to eat! Love the food and patio! The warm pita bread is to die for! They have tv's, fireplace, heaters for the winter. A fun place to eat!

A surprising treat on New Year's Eve. We popped in before they were closing and got a fresh, hot plate of delicious Mediterranean food. Service was quick and efficient. The entire restaurant is vibrant and fun. Highly recommend for a quick, fast casual, generous plate of flavorful food.

In an age when "experience" is leaving the equation, Meddys steps in and raises the game to a whole new level of fast-casual dining experience! We had been hearing all the good things in the KC area about this new Mediterranean spot - mostly about the food!! However, although the food is AWESOME, and it totally is, what I think really separates Meddys from not only other Mediterranean spots in town, but almost all other fast food and fast-casual spots, is the experience they deliver from the moment you step in the door! To start, this place is REALLY attractive! Both the indoor and outdoor dining areas are extraordinarily well-executed and provide a view above and beyond your average, suburban eatery. On our first visit, the people (not just one person, but multiple!) working the counter for ordering were extremely patient and helpful with our large party, walking us through options, recommendations, and ways to maximize value and exposure to the menu! Not a single item disappointed! If you are open to Mediterranean food, you will LOVE the food here! While we dined, we were frequently visited by table staff who offered refills and assistance constantly. A couple folks asked how our experience was going, and were happy to chat about our dining, the restaurant, and even just current events! So friendly! We loved our first visit so much that we returned a week later with other family! Food = 5/5 Facility = 5/5 Service = 5/5 Ambiance = 4/5 Value = 4/5

Me love Meddy's! The food is always so fresh and flavorful. We just ate at the Corinth location, and the service is top notch. One of the employees came around many times and even anticipated our needs before we asked. All around great experience!

The food is great, however, the service is horrible. I like to pop in & grab a bite to eat, but I sit & wait, wait and wait, and WAIT, after seeing others get their food before I do, when I order my food before them! It shouldn't matter how many people order, it's the mere fact that I ordered first & receive last. Zero manners with customer service. The ambiance is blah! Could get a facelift. Especially when I'm waiting forever for my food & that's all I'm doing, is looking at the bland & boring ambiance. An upgrade would be nice!

We dined here this evening and everything about this place was FANTASTIC! We sat outside, which was lovely. You place your order at a counter, but then choose a table and your food is delivered to you. We also had constant attention from wait staff for boxes, refills, etc. Our food was absolutely wonderful! Everything was delicious and we left with plenty to take home. Every employee we encountered was so friendly. Definitely give this place a try!

Consistent fast casual Mediterranean food. Good portions. The salad/soup combo is a legit deal, can add meat for a smaller extra cost. When you go inside they give you pita and their oil to dip and also have sauce stations to get different sauces. Overall, a great chain experience.

This was my first visit, so I tried the main plate with beef and roasted vegetables, and I had to get a side of hummus. The flavors are so bright and fresh, and their pita just cannot be beat. It's made fresh, and has ruined me for other pita now, as my friend predicted . I could sit down to just a bowl of the hummus and be completely happy for the rest of the day. All of the servers were fantastic, the attention to all the tables was impeccable, and everything came out really quickly. I really like the concept of ordering at the counter, and then finding your own table, plus the atmosphere is gorgeous and very clean. There's also a heated patio available, and it was packed! I'm looking forward to getting one on my side of town someday soon!

My husband came back the other day for lunch and were a bit disappointed in the meal, but not by much. It's still a very good restaurant, but next time when we order the mushroom soup we will have to mention to please hold on the parsley flakes. There was an overkill of parsley flakes in the soup this past time, and that wasn't the case last time we came. Also, we tried some other items and weren't too impressed. My husband tried the Spanish eggplant plate and I tried the Fancy Falafels, and wasn't sure what I had expected. I think I expected it to be more like a meatball, my mistake, and I didn't care for the heavy fried crunch aspect. Next time we try something else.

Meddys always goes above and beyond! All the staff is so kind and the food is always great! I love the fancy falafels- you get so much good food and I always have leftovers!

The food here is amazing, and the pricing for kid's meals is great. The service is top notch with people always around to make sure you have what you need. It's great eating here on a summer evening with live music. The food pricing is $$ but you don't walk away hungry with an order of a platter. Worth it.

What a unique new fast casual concept. There have been a rise of Mediterranean fast casual restaurants (Zoes, Cava), but wow, I was blown away by Meddys. First, there is a large menu. There are multiple options for vegans, which I greatly appreciate. The portion sizes are humongous - it feels like a family style plate that you'd want to share a couple of plates amongst a group. Even though you order at the counter, there are multiple staff members that circulate through the restaurant and check in with you. They even bring fresh bread! I had the Banging Beef Shawarma and it was freaking delicious. My sister had some sort of falafel platter that came with a salad, soup, and hummus. I am honestly not a big fan of Mediterranean food and this all was fantastic. The environment is good too. It is well decorated. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The dining room is actually surprisingly small, but they make good use of the space. Every seat was filled during my visit, but the staff do a good job of keeping things tidy and turning over tables quickly. I think when the weather warms up, all the outdoor space will help a lot with capacity. Highly recommend Meddys! I just wish something like this would come to West Olathe!! We need it!

Absolutely delighted with my first trip into Meddys this past weekend. The place was packed and nearly at capacity so keep this in mind and possibly try to plan ahead if you have a larger group as there appears to be limited options for groups of 5+ people (especially if it's not warm enough to sit on the patio). There are a half dozen or so seats at a small bar, which offers happy hour during all the times you might be there (Mon-Fri from 11am-2pm and 4pm-7pm, Sat/Sun ALL DAY) so pretty much just not 2pm-4pm Mon-Fri. The menu is awesome - it has pictures of all the options as well as dietary indicators for Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free, and Dairy Free. There are so many different vegan options which is what brought me here in the first place. I ordered the "Fancy Falafels" for $11.99 - not only does it look as delicious as the photo on the menu but it's huge. Depending on how hungry you are, this could be split in half between two people, especially given there was complimentary pita served before our food came out. I also like the setup - you order at the counter and your food is delivered to your table - Meddys manages this without feeling like a fast food joint. Love love this place - new staple in the rotation.

I'm really excited to have Meddys right down the street! I'm constantly seeking a healthy, quick-pickup meal option for lunch or dinner. Mediterranean happens to be one of my favorite cuisines, too! I had the heavenly hummus plate with chicken and my husband had the falafel shawarma. Both hit the spot. My one critique was that I could've used a little spice on my hummus -- some harissa or similar. I'll definitely ask next time! The restaurant was very cleanly, and had a nicer vibe than your typical "fast food" spot, which was great to see. The staff were all VERY hospitable. It was clear that hospitality was at the center of the employee training, as the team couldn't have been friendlier. I can't wait to go back and try more!

We wafted out in a cloud of garlic, but man was it worth it. This is a classy Mediterranean place- more upscale than typical Mediterranean eateries where the grocery is part of the shop. The 1/2 chicken and garlicky potatoes my friend ordered was amazing. I really enjoyed the falafel sandwich & the pickled Radishes made it perfect. They serve alcohol, there is a patio for when the weather finally gets nicer and there are comfy booths too. A great addition to the Corinth area!

Such a yummy fun new spot!! The portions and price were fair, the food was delicious, and the spot is the perfect balance of casual - not too fancy or too fast food. Great pick for a lunch date - i took mom for her birthday! They were so sweet and even brought her this incredible birthday dessert! We will definitely be back.

Our BMW Dealer caters every Saturday, this by far is the best meal we've had. The food was still warm and great tasting. I personally have been wanting to try this place. I'll definitely be going to the restaurant to try the other dishes.
