I would like to take a moment to recognize Paula from the Front Office for her outstanding service. She consistently goes above and beyond to assist guests, ensuring that every need is met with professionalism and kindness. Whether it’s handling valet services, making reservations, or offering guidance, she does it all with a warm and welcoming attitude. Paula’s dedication to exceptional customer service is truly commendable. She treats every guest with patience and respect, creating a positive and memorable experience for everyone she interacts with. Her ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor sets her apart as a valuable asset to the hotel. I truly appreciate her hard work and commitment, and I believe she deserves recognition for the outstanding service she provides daily. I was so impressed with the staff. The customer service was second to none! Joy was at the desk when we checked in and she made the check in process “joyful”! The breakfast service was efficient and there was a good variety of food. The bar staff were again friendly and efficient. There was a man cleaning the rooms on the 19th floor. He greeted everyone with a smile and seemed to genuinely enjoy his job. I assume he cleaned my room. He found a tiny earring that I didn’t know I had left behind and the staff went the extra mile to return the earring to me. Thank you for doing that!

Rita at the front desk of Media One Hotel was absolutely amazing! Super sweet, incredibly professional, and made the whole check-in process the quickest I’ve ever experienced. She was also very supportive and attentive, making sure everything was smooth from the moment I arrived. It’s rare to come across such a perfect mix of efficiency and genuine hospitality. Big thanks to Rita for the great welcome … she truly set the tone for a fantastic stay!

We had a pleasant stay here. Rita was really friendly and accommodating. All the staff, front desk, valet, restaurant, house keeping are really nice and helpful. It is 10 min walk away from metro and marina tram. The rooms are a bit too small but the bed was comfortable. The main issue with the room is the mildewy smell when the AC is not running, so you get hit by that smell every time you walk into the room. I wish they will let the AC fan at least operate at a low setting to avoid that.

This hotel felt like home away from home. Honestly from the very first interaction and all the staff was more than perfect. Mina made sure i had everything when I first checked in and everyone truly exceeded my expectations. Did not want to leave. Hameed also made sure that everything went smoothly as I was going home.

This hotel is probably best for couples, people wishing to party and working travellers For those wishing to party, Media One has an excellent selection of establishments offering different styles of entertainment. The pool is a good size and well serviced. The location has excellent access to Sheikh Zayed road skipping traffic, which gives access to the rest of Dubai, as well as the palm, marina and JBR areas. For those working, there are places where you can sit and work comfortably as well as good venues to entertain clients. It has good transport links and easy access to media city. Rooms are smart and well appointed with comfy beds. The baths are an odd shape, but it turns out that they are wonderful for relaxing in. One quirk is that the glass wall has no blind, so you will see any room mates when they shower. Breakfast is really good with a cold cuts buffet and table service for mains. It can get busy at peak times, but service is still rapid. Staff are really friendly, always cheerful and happy to help. Prices are generally reasonable throughout the year and offer excellent value for money. Check the media one site for booking direct as it can often be cheaper than booking sites.

I stayed in this hotel 12 days, was meant to be 7 but I extended it as I loved Dubai so much. There was a lot of benefits but some cons that made the hotel short of 5*. Hotel: was greeted by Nadia on arrival and given my card key very promptly, I was given a phone number for WhatsApp and access to an app, it was done very quickly and being early in the morning i couldn’t have been happier. Staff: majority of them are lovely; I found some at the pool were grumpy and when I asked for drinks etc it seemed like I was bothering them. Room; the room is small but it was comfy and cozy, access to tv, the room is well stocked and the bed was comfy: Pool: the pool is nice but small aswell, it’s got towels and sunbeds with shade. And able to sit in the sun. There is a bar but it’s quite pricey. Issues I found at the pool was sometimes the towels were a bit dirty and linen on the sunbeds weren’t changed as they were dirty and still there the next day. Location: easy to get taxis, 10 minute walk from a metro station and tram station. Easy to get places to deliver food. Cleanliness; the rooms were cleaned and freshened everyday, the guy done a good job. The hotel is clean but a lot of ciggy butts on the grounds outside, lack of bins around the pool area and in general. I enjoyed majority of the experience which made me stay another 5 days, but one major issue I found was the security men on site. On arrival it seemed that security were wanting me to get up to the room because it was early in the morning, I wanted to go back out for a smoke but they seemed to not want me to go out again? The doors weren’t locked so therefore it was 24/7 and if I wanted to smoke 3,4,5am then I can. On the first official day I took the stairs seemingly thinking it would lead me to the ground floor; no it led to the back of the kitchen. I walked out then walked out onto the side of the hotel before walking to the front. Security man then came behind me and asked me what I was doing? I said I took a walk and took the stairs seemingly thinking I don’t have any other way to get out of the staircase and had to come around this way, he then accused me of not being a guest, asking me what I was REALLY doing then asked for my room number. I give my room number and said I arrived early morning. He went into the hotel and told me to ‘stay there’ and I waited a good 20 minutes and he did not reappear nor did anyone approach me, leaving me extremely confused and not knowing. This actually scared me I was looking for new hotels to stay in. I had come back from an activity quite late, and sat down on the sofa to fix my shoe, I took the shoe off and let my foot breathe for 2 minutes before another security guy came over and told me to ‘move along’ and not put my shoes there. This is not airport security so why would I have to move along in a hotel that I’m a guest in? I’m fixing my shoes not sleeping on the sofa. Does the security forget this hotel is also 24 hours? Or do they want people in bed by 9pm? 4th incident, I was smoking outside to which one of the security men came up and told Me to move, there was 2 other men outside smoking and they weren’t told, I was. I asked why should I if other people are smoking here to which he got on like I didn’t understand what I was saying and just said no smoking? Confused I just walked on. I would recommend this hotel but the only problem is the security coming up and thinking they own the place it was all different security would had approached me.
