Must-visit museums and theatres in Dusseldorf, Germany - SilverKris
"A former dockland reinvented over the past two decades into a showcase for contemporary architecture, featuring works by prominent national and international architects such as David Chipperfield, Joe Coenen, Steven Holl and Claude Vasconi, and a distinctive cluster of Frank Gehry buildings characterized by white plaster, red brick and stainless steel facades set at playful, crooked angles." - SilverKris
The Rheinturm is definitely a must-see in Düsseldorf! From the top, you get a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire city. It’s a unique experience, especially around sunset. You can also find a guide if you’d like to learn more about what you’re seeing. There’s a restaurant at the top as well—perfect for enjoying dinner with a stunning view. Highly recommended

Besides creative buildings around here, the environment is very nice especially in summer. We took a boat here for a short trip.

Revitalized old port. Media central for Düsseldorf. Good, higher end restaurants. Modern architecture (Frank Ghery included).

Great modern architecture. Fun to look at and area is much cleaner (and seems safer) than old town.
