Medieval Wall of Alcúdia

Very nice old city. Well restored wall. Nice walking place.

It is interesting to walk along these ancient walls that surround the city, but you should bear in mind that the section accessible to the public is several hundred meters long.

Beautiful location. Not for faint hearted. Walls are high, with waist height fencing. But Beautiful views of old town.

Definitely visit if you are a fan of history and want a change of scenery. Grab a free information leaflet from the nearby tourist centre and read whilst strolling through the old town. Easy to access via bus service

When visiting Alcúdia, a walk along its impressive defensive walls is an experience not to be missed. This must be one of the most photographed locations in Majorca, thousands were here. Such a lovely surprise to see the remains or the original castle and town wall’s protected and preserved. It was fun walking the whole perimeter to see what was on offer. There were a queue of people waiting to get up and down the wall steps but this was no major issue. The walls made a fun backdrop to the market that went on all through the town. It was a great Sunday visit.

Great place for a stroll. Nice views of the old town. Completely free, not very crowded.
