The Mediterranean conference centre is a wonderful place. We watched a show here, and the place created the perfect backdrop. Sound and acoustics were great, and well organized. The hallway is spectacular in itself and full of history. It is easy to reach, as it is in central Valletta.

Definitely worth a visit! Our guide, Anna, was just perfect. She provided a ton of info and context related to the building, the knights of St John and the island development overall. Great first stop as you explore Malta, really!

I attended Jesus Christ Superstar at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, and it was an unforgettable experience! The venue itself is absolutely stunning — full of history, with beautiful architecture and a breathtaking view of the sea. The acoustics and lighting were perfect for the performance, and the atmosphere added so much to the overall experience. Everything was well organized, and the staff were kind and professional. I highly recommend visiting this amazing place, whether for a show, a conference, or just to admire its beauty.

Very nice conference center, besides the very long hallway that you can use for expositions, there is also a very big auditorium. The rooftop terrace is great for socializing after the event.

Wonderful place. Modernized, but in such a way as to fully retain the spirit of the past in the architectural sense. I do not mean the original purpose when it was one of the best hospitals in Europe. Everything here is now finely dosed

Edit: I finally received a response after this post. Their solution? To ask the disruptive patrons if they’d like to sit elsewhere. To which they said no…However, I know for a fact that this didn’t happen and their usher lied about doing her job. I saw her on her phone, ignoring the disruptive women who were just one row behind her. So, I was basically lied to and wasn’t offered any kind of compensation. Again, never going to attend anything here if they can’t hire competent staff. I sent this email on Feb 17, and have yet to receive a response. So if you want to pay good money for a lousy experience, with no bother from the managers, then go here. I am writing in regards to the SKYFALL black-tie event which happened on Sat, Feb 15 at 20:00. Three of us had to leave the event early due to two disruptive patrons seated in the balcony area, Row F,, seats 18 & 19. We were seated in Row F, seats 20-22. These two women talked throughout the entire performance, came in late after the intermission, and proceeded to loudly open a packet of Twistees for 3-5 minutes. One of the women even had her legs hanging over the seat in front of her, with her shoes half off. I know there were other patrons who were disturbed by their actions. The worst part is while they were talking throughout the movie, the usher assigned to the area sat in front of us on her phone THE ENTIRE first half of the movie. After intermission, she was nowhere to be found. I find the whole experience quite unprofessional and off-putting considering the cheapest tickets were 50 euros and it was a black-tie event. I am requesting some form of compensation since your employee was too bothered with her phone to do her job. I also recommend that you ban the two women who were seated in those seats. Because of them, there's not a chance that my husband and I will ever attend another event at this venue. Which is sad considering is it so beautiful. You all should take care to hire competent staff and train them accordingly, especially when charging such high ticket prices, and ESPECIALLY during a black-tie event. I appreciate your immediate attention. Also, I attempted to submit this on your website, but it kept telling me to input my phone number, which I did multiple times. Does anything work correctly there?

Visited the centre as part of the Malta Experience tour, as the centre was originally the hospital run by the Knights of St. John since, and has seen around 400 years of human history pass through it's doors. The history of the hospital is fascinating, but the tour is limited to a the 2 wards (one of which is the longest ward ever built in Europe, which could accommodate 914 patients in a single ward if required during emergencies), as the building is now a conference centre the tour is restricted to the 2 wards, the auditorium and a couple of passage ways, but it is still worth the visit, and does make you wonder, if a health system could be so efficient and so we'll planned in the 1700's why can't we do it now ?? The picture attached was the ward for the poor, and to me looks more inviting that most modern hospitals, and it's insane that at one point in history the local police force used this as a stable !!

Only three rooms (!) but really worth it for the information provided on the guided tour. Worth it.
