The hotel was clean, pools were lovely and the best location close to the town.|The negative side to the hotel is the All inclusive choices. There were very limited drinks choices and only from 11am to 11pm, so not ideal if you were out in the evening and wanted to come back to the hotel for a drink. The other negative is at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food wasnt the best and very samey in the snack bar. Chips, meatballs and salad nearly every day. Icecream for kids is always a plus!! |Would i go back ? No , the food and all inclusive let the hotel down. |Rooms were clean but small and basic. There were 4 of us, we have a junior suite - which i would describe as a 2 bedroom hotel room as there was no suite about it. The balcony had only 2 chairs and a small table. The staff were accomodating. they gave us extra pillows and a fan as there was only air con in 1 one the bedrooms.

First if you have disabilities this ISNT the place to come. |There is minimal support and next to no accessibility’s. |We arrived late and was given our room numbers. One staff member to help with our bags. There were 6 of us, my mum and dad who are both disabled (my had can barely walk and my mum has osteoarthritis as well as fibromyalgia) my children who both have autism and myself who has fibromyalgia and my husband. |We got in the lift and went up one floor then had to climb 4 staircases outside which were leading up a mountain. Before we attempted the stairs we requested to be moved to be told there was zero option to move unless we paid extra. To come back the next day. After finally getting up to the room me and hubby and kids had another set to climb up to find they had put our children in separate rooms! One with us and one with my parents. |Whilst in the room we discovered our AC didn’t blow out cold air, only a musty awful smell and the only way to turn it off was to keep the balcony door open. Our fridge didn’t work and every time you turn the tap on on the bathroom it flooded the sink, we figured out there was NO pipes connected from the plug to the drainage! Again we were told there were no available rooms and they would bring us up a fan. Which they did, and it had no front on it so the blade was exposed. Baring in mind we have autistic children 🤦🏼‍♀️ |We woke up covered in bites, room FULL of ants and boiling hot! Oh and Still no room change as no one had left.. |The all inclusive was shocking! |Breakfast was okay! With lots of options. every other meal was poor. They said they had different themed nights but it didn’t seem like it. The food was the same stuff constantly and there was zero options for children other than pasta. They lived on dry pasta and bread rolls and every 2/3 nights they had chips as an option. Everyone who had children had the same complaints. Everything was greasy and lacked any sort of flavour. |The drinks were shocking! Only one beer option and your usual spirits. No cocktails included. I could help myself to coffee but to ask for ice to make it an iced coffee would cost me €3.50 🤦🏼‍♀️ |You could access any form of drinks between 9am and 11am unless you went to the shop. |The pools are salt water with added extra salt every morning and my kids came home with rashes that the GPs over here didn’t know how to treat. They had them for nearly 2 months! It really really stung your eyes. My dad also got an ear infection! The slides were open 11-5 and were also salt water. It was manned by a lifeguard that was also manning the pool at the top and all the kids got in trouble for playing/waiting in the pool at the bottom of the slide. Even though there wasn’t any signs or anything. |The pictures are very much out of date too, there isn’t a bridge there anymore. And when we did finally move rooms after 4 days and then again 2 days later as that room was just as bad we didn’t get a single room that wasn’t outdated and smelt! Every time the kids bed was a fold out camp bed and the mattress (if you can call it that) was like paper! |The entertainment staff were lovely and there was a couple of ladies in the restaurant that were great but the rest weren’t very pleasant at all, especially the pool bar guy. |Whilst there I seen a lady having a fit and they had no clue how to deal with it and sent for a chair, they didn’t attempt to ring an ambulance, the all just stood around trying to talk to her. ||There is lots of other things negative I would add but I just don’t have the time to write it all! ||All in all I would never go back. ||Pictures include how high up we were, SOME of the steps we had to climb to get anywhere, the rashes the kids got over there that wouldn’t go even when we got back.

When we first arrived at 2am in the morning, no electricity in the room due to a broken key switch, reception was called and they came out to fix, left in the dark while this was happening, no water available to drink, was asked to come back to reception to get some, had no idea where to go, massive complex, tried and got lost in the dark, above the hotel laundry which was going all night, no sleep possible in this room. Switched rooms in the morning. New room a lot better but ac in room temperamental with dodgy light switch leaving main light on in the room. Sunbeds mostly broken, no cushions on the sunbeds making sunbathing not comfortable. 80% broken gym equipment. Food does not cater for vegetarians/vegans and is more like school dinners. Snack bar is fried food and pizza. All inclusive wine and beer is very poor quality, expect a headache in the morning with very little wine consumed. Coke is disgusting. Booked a massage and facial - what a scam, therapists hadn't a clue what they were doing, clearly not trained properly, as a college lecturer in beauty therapy, god knows how they passed their course, couples massage, heard them whispering to each other, very unprofessional, asked for a headband or towel to protect my hair from products, said I didn't need it, came out with exfoliater in my hair, products left on the skin, used factor 15 as sun protection for 31° heat. Unacceptable amount of money for a complete waste of time €250 for 2 massages and 2 facials. DO NOT BOOK A TREATMENT HERE. On a positive note, overall the staff are very friendly and try to help with issues which is why I've given it 2☆'s and not 1 ☆.|

I've seen a few reviews and I needed to contribute.|To start with the staff are brilliant apart from 1 bar man who worked on pool bar in the day and sometimes at night, very rude.|The food is ok but really needs to be kept warmer because after being out for more than 15min it goes cool and not very nice.|The only money spent on the hotel has been in the lobby area and restaurant a bit.|The room are probably one of the worst I've stopped in and I'm a contractor that stay away alot. The room are very dated and the finish is very poor 2 star max.!!!!!||Outside needs a revamp desperately!!||Overall its a max 3 star.||Wouldn't recommend to anyone that thinks it's a 4 star because you will be disappointed, if it was a 3 star and money to reflect then I would go back if the above was sorted.

Had an amazing time at Mediterraneo Hotel. Staff is lovely and very helpful. Rooms are big and spacious. The hotel is close both to the Hersonissos centre and old Town which is really worth visiting. The are few beaches near. Would definitely come back 😍😍

Currently staying here and it definitely NOT the worst hotel ever. Food is amazing. Staff are not rude just some what abrupt but that’s probably the way they are and if anything the guests are more rude. Rooms are basic but I don’t want to stay in my room. Came here as a family of 7 youngest being 2 and found something to eat everyday. I would definitely come here again. My only bad comment out of everything is the Coca Cola. Not good more like cheap coke but I found an alternative drink, vodka and lemon. Apart from that having a great holiday. Please do not let the bad reviews put you off. Or better still do not read them and make your own judgement.

We have just returned home from a week here and I wish I could have stayed longer! We were worried as we had seen so many bad reviews but this hotel is absolutely lovely. The rooms are cleaned every single morning to a high standard. The entertainment team were absolutely fantastic with our two year old and made her confidence shine through. The only downsides were the salt water pools and the food not accommodating for children. Apart from that we had an amazing time!!

Great service and all staff helpful and friendly. Drinks choices are good with lots of options and kids able to help selves at snack bar. Room cleaned daily with fresh bedding and towels mattresses so comfy all of slept really well every night. Fan provided for kids room to keep cool and worked well. Pool fresh sea water and cleaned daily was so refreshing after the warm sun with plenty of sun beds to choose from and kids loving the slides. Food was tasty and so much choice for all including 2 fussy eaters. Different themes each night can highly recommend Greek Italian and Mexican so much choice. Ice cream was available all day and dinner and evening meal. Spa experience was heavenly and just what was needed with a body scrub and rehydration oil treatment skin was refreshed from the heat and was still relaxed and sleepy the next day. Evening entertainment behind snack bar found half way through holidays. Entertainment team warm and friendly with all and do a fab job. Please ignore negativity in reviews I was worried before arrival but can assure you would happily return and recommend for a great family holiday even 16 & 14 year old agree.
