Mediterraneo Hotel & Restaurant

I had dinner at Mediterraneo Hotel and Restaurant the other day with my kids, and I just had to share what a wonderful experience we had. The food was delicious, but what truly made our evening special was the exceptional service we received from our server, Abdul (I believe that was his name). He was kind, polite, accommodating, patient, and professional—the kind of person who makes you feel genuinely welcome. He went above and beyond throughout the evening to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. What really stood out was what happened when we were getting ready to leave. My phone had died, and I needed it to call a car service. Without hesitation, Abdul offered to let me use his own phone so I could get in touch with the car service. That small act of kindness meant the world to me—I honestly don’t know what I would’ve done without his help. Thank you, Abdul, and thank you to Mediterraneo for having such compassionate and professional staff. It’s people like Abdul who remind you that kindness and excellent service still exist. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed two nights at the Mediterraneo. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the hotel was nicely located in the beach with an awesome view of the sunrise. The restaurant was also very good for dinner and breakfast.

Lovely hotel with a beach front. Quiet place, ideal to chill or a date night for quality time. The full moon evening was an amazing experience with soothing sound of the ocean waves at night. They have decorated the place really nice. Simple and elegant I would say.

For a couple that loves the beach, good food and tranquility, Mediterraneo was the perfect place. All the staff were super nice with attention to details. We were received by Mwana who has exceptional customer care. Always there at breakfast to greet us with the most beautiful smile and even provided us with information we were researching for our next destination. She is a gem.

The diving staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet is out of this world. The pool is beautiful, the view is amazing. Though I ate dinner there once and was disappointed with the pasta with tomato and basil sauce.

I was referred to this property by my business partners in DAR, and I stayed for 13 nites. It was a good referral as this is the kind of place I like to stay when on the road when I am 3-6-9-12 time zones away from home. I really enjoyed this place, the pool, the beach and the lush gardens and amazing plants and trees! But the best part was the big smiles of the staff and the consistent welcome I felt throughout my stay! Big shout outs to: Evita, Juliet, Mica at the front desk, and Server Adbul!!! Your smiles and attentive approach to my requests was highly appreciated!! Thank you for helping a world-weary traveler from 10 times zones away to feel more comfortable and relaxed!!! Beautiful hotel, good size pool and gym. The food there is delicious with a great view.

Lovely restaurant. Service was quick, but they mixed my order up. I accepted what they brought, and it was good. Suggest that at low tide, they clean the beach in front of refuse. Customers will be pleased to see the effort and great view.
