Mediterraneo Restaurant - Best Restaurant in Orchha

Lovely restaurant with great views of both orchha. Amazing pakodas , homely Mediterranean dishes. What really makes it a must is the staff’s hospitality

Their pasta dishes are a highlight—perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and generously served. Truly one of the best in town. I would recommend others to try this restaurant. The service was great as well.The atmosphere was also so amazing in a physically transcendant manner,full 5 stars!

Over-rated. Simple place, high prices, small Italian menu and I recognised none of the Italian dishes. Since I was there, I ordered a macaroni dish. I was told no Western food is available as the chef wasn't there. Only highly overpriced Indian food. We left and went to the restaurant beside it, called Pavitra. The menu was the same, but much much cheaper.

The place does have an unassuming exterior . However, the food we had was really fresh and very tasty - we had Indian and a pizza. The people - including Ritesh - were very friendly and accommodating . Would strongly recommend !

Thanks to the kind owner, I was able to enjoy a refreshing lassi and rest comfortably under the air conditioning on hot day. The location is perfect, right in front of the bus stop heading to Jhansi.

Don't Judge a Book by its Cover" Don't let the unassuming exterior of Mediterraneo fool you. While it might not look like much from the outside, this place is a hidden gem, particularly for its Indian offerings. The Biryani here is truly excellent—richly spiced, aromatic, and cooked perfectly. The Paratha is just as impressive; flaky, layered, and a fantastic accompaniment to any dish. Beyond the superb food, the service is genuinely welcoming and adds a wonderful touch to the dining experience. If you're looking for outstanding Biryani and Paratha with warm hospitality, skip the fancy facades and head straight for Mediterraneo.

𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗜𝗻 𝗢𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗵𝗮!! My biggest concern while visiting Orchha was not getting food, good enough. But, Orchha Darbar did everything right here. The owner is too hospitable. He will always suggest you the best from his menu and will also give you the best suggestions on how to travel around. The Chef knows how to cook and present well. They have a broad menu of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options as well. They also have the most exclusive view of Orchha Fort and Chaturbhuj Temple. A must-visit place while In Orchha.

A must try restaurant. I visited this place for dinner. A must try is Orchha thali. My suggestion - place an order for this thali in advance ( If you want to have it in dinner, tell the owner in afternoon). I ensure you that you will not regret it. Must try desserts - * Gulab jamun served with icecream * Gujiya All the sweets are made from Desi Mawa with apt amount of sweetness. The owner of the restaurant is very humble. He will recommend the best dishes according to your taste. The view from the restaurant is amazing. At night time, you will be able to see the top of the fort, lightened with lights. It is a very pleasant view. Location - walkable distance from fort, opposite to car parking area.
