The hotel has a very European vibe to it. We were on the 10th floor, but had to walk down 2 sets of stairs to get to our room !! I have arthritis and having to move our luggage was not easy on our own, this let the hotel down. Breakfast not overly great, if you like toast you'll be fine. The location was good, close to trams and metro stations, taxis are never far away, so no long waits. Nice cafes and local shops, plenty to see and do however when I return to Budapest I will find another hotel.

Amazing Stay with a Stunning View!I absolutely loved this hotel! The rooftop balcony was a highlight, offering a breathtaking view. The hotel also has a convenient lift, making access easy. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great stay with a beautiful view!

I visited the hotel in September 24. From the beginning we were welcomed with joy and kindness. The hotel was in the right place in the city. With many places to eat and next to the metro. The breakfast is always full and fresh. It is worth visiting.

Very good choice for location and affordability.|The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The food was good, although the buffet menu did not change at all.||Overall, the experience was really good and locationwise is excellent. Lots of stores nearby and also main street access close to popular tuourist locations.

I had an awful stay at Hotel Medos. I was given a cramped attic room with slanted ceilings that made it nearly impossible to move around comfortably. The view was of a depressing interior courtyard, adding to the claustrophobic feel. The bathroom towels were stained -absolutely unacceptable. The coffee of breakfast was undrinkable, and to top it all off, the receptionist was unfriendly and seemed completely uninterested in helping. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.

A fab location to stay, easy accessibility to all major attractions in Budapest and excellent location for the tram and Metro links. Room was small but no issue as all we did was wash and sleep there. We paid a little more for a balcony on 9th floor and the views across the city skyline were impressive. Room was lovely and warm whilst it was in minus temperatures outside, plenty of hot water, powerful shower, soap and shampoo provided, tea and coffee with kettle in room, complimentary water in fridge, safe in room, plenty of hangers, bed comfortable. Breakfast from 7 to 10 and plentiful, a couple of hot choices like scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, pancakes and chicken nuggets, these were alternated. Meats and cheeses, pastry’s, bread, cereals, fruit and yogurts available also. Tea, coffees and juices available at breakfast. Check in was very easy and very friendly staff to greet us. Would certainly recommend and would certainly return if we visit Budapest in the future. Excellent value for money.

It's not a 3-star hotel. It's more like a hostel or a 1-star hotel. It's old and outdated. The room overlooked a horrible interior courtyard (see photos). The attic walls are slanted. You have to go up and down stairs to reach the elevator. The bathroom has no ammenities and the towels were stained. The breakfast was basic and the coffee undrinkable. And to top it all off, the receptionist was rude and unhelpful. My advice is to avoid this hotel and find another.

The real stars would be 4.5, but it was better than expected and more good things than bad, so i atrongly recommend this place. Rooms are basic but comfy, the breakfast is very good and enough food to choose from and the best thing is location, very near to metro or tram or bus station. And near from the centre if you want to walk. For a 3 star hotel, it s amazing
