Although if the staff is smiling and friendly, they lack speed in providing services: the tables at breakfast are not cleaned quickly, it is obvious that the waiters do not have much experience; and the day they had to clean our room, the maids showed up at 1:30 p.m. to do it... when we had left the hotel at 10 a.m. and had to return to the hotel for a work call.

The rooms are basic but comfortable, clean and warm. The hotel itself is well located close to lots of good bars and restaurants. Also 2 min walk to one of the main metro lines making access to the main parts of the city really easy. We would definitely consider staying here again if we were to ever visit in the future.

Have just returned from a visit to the wonderfully understated little hotel. It's very well situated, the staff were very polite & very helpful with even the smallest question. As side note. For the small amount of additional cost to your stay I can definitely recommend staying on floor 10 with the balcony/terrace. Nice and quiet along with not overlooked. Would definitely be more than happy to stay here again

For a three star hotel it was a plesant surprise. The location is very good, 4 min walk from Oktogon metro station (M1). The rooms are clean, with lots of space, and the breakfast is a good one for a three star hotel. I would stay here again!

Just back from a 4 night stay at the hotel medos. We were delighted that our room was ready on arrival as we were a few hours before check in. Room was spacious and clean, we had no view but that was ok. Room has a small fridge and kettle. Seating area but no mirror for getting ready. The only mirror was the bathroom one. Shower was surprisingly powerful and spacious. ||I didn't have good quality sleep as I found the bed to be very hard and uncomfortable as did my husband. ||We didn't avail of breakfast as I did think €10 per person was a bit expensive and lots of nice coffee shops around. ||The hotel is in a great location especially for the airport bus, it's about 15 minutes to walk or you can jump on the metro. ||Staff were friendly and always said hello. ||Overall it's a good place to stay but if you are like me and can't sleep on a hard bed then it's not ideal.

Hotel clean, welcoming reception team - room basic but clean. The bath was deep, with shower over, very slippy when showering. We were in B building which was strange to get to, up to floor 10 then down 3 lots of stairs to get to the room - with suitcases was a bit of a struggle! There is a safe and mini fridge in the room, but no kettle or tea or coffee facility which I would have liked. The beds are comfy and the Hotel is in a great location though and close to restaurants and pubs - overall satisfied with the hotel .

Amazing hotel. First of all the position of the hotel is amazing: it is in the centre and near public transport. The rooms were clean. We had breakfast included and it was absolutely amazing! There was so much choice and the food was delicious. The staff was great as well: friendly, helpful and accomodating. For instance, We asked for a breakfast box the morning of the departure and they had it ready right on time at 4.25 AM. I defenetly recommend this place if you visit Budapest!

Definitely a good choice of hotel for us. We would rate it a "superior" 3 star. Everything was as you would expect. Breakfast was high quality and staff attentive. I have dietary requirements which were easily met. Centrally located hotel close to everything and a wonderful array of restaurants. Well done. if you should visit the Paganini restaurant 3 mins away ask for Petra and tell her" Markovitch" from Spain says "hello". Great atmosphere and good food, gluten intolerant friendly - but limited choice for veggies ( the locals love their meat )
