MedPlaya Hotel Flamingo Oasis

Came here for a few days of sunshine with a friend. The gentleman on reception was extremely helpful on checkin, and upon departure, gave us a little snack bag which was appreciated on our very early transfer. ||The hotel is beautiful, shame about the clientele sat round the pool discussing how much more benefits they can take from the state!||The food was edible although a little repetitive, drinks were absolutely fine, served by friendly staff, the snacks during the day were quite poor, it was crisps or cold toasties. ||Evening entertainment was excellent. the singers were really good, the bar staff attentive, plenty of space for everyone in the bar. |There wasn't much going on during the daytime, I saw nothing for children, but it was term time so that may be why. ||The room was spotlessly clean, bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch. Room was cleaned to a high standard and the rainfall shower was amazing. |Beds were comfortable and the air-conditioning was brilliant. ||The location was great, the only downside to this hotel is the huge hotels around it, block out all the sunshine till mid afternoon. Im not playing sunbed wars at 7am, so no sun in the morning. . But the pool was lively and clean. ||All in all, a good experience.

The staff at Medplaya Hotel Flamingo Oasis are very friendly and attentive with clear instructions on what is available at the hotel. Food was manageable but came across as repetitive and somewhat bland leading to you becoming bored easily after a while. Poor range of desserts which rarely changed with the only positive notes being the ice cream. Location is very good to explore the whole of Benidorm from an accessible viewpoint and plenty of shops around if needs be. Rooms were decent with comfortable beds, nice balcony view and nothng fancy but clean bathroom. Wifi was very hit or miss in the rooms and did not work on the TV but around the lounge and restaurant areas of the hotel it works fine. The all inclusive drinks are a delight and have a good range to accomodate everyone taste with attentive staff bringing a happy atmosphere. Did not partake in many of the activites had to offer due to the timing of our visits but the nightime discos/party looked lively and fun. Overall, for the value of the hotel you get a lot of positives. Nothing stands out but if you are looking for a welcoming, serviceable hotel with lovely staff this is good for you and the family while taking in mind we visted the hotel during the month of December.

Just returned from 4 nights here, our first time, we are two couples and found the hotel amazing. Rooms fine and clean, rooms overlooking the pool, cleaned daily. The food was great, lots of choice, so many meat dishes and carvery meats, we had a vegetarian in our group and she was very impressed with choice. Husband has eaten his body weight in the cakes this week. Pool area was fine, lots of sunbeds available all day. Staff were good, quick service at the bar. We would definitely stay here again.

Fine as a base hotel goes - really good price - value for money in that sense. . Buffet had lots of options and mostly British cuisine - which most of the guests seem to enjoy, but I prefer to eat more local food abroad, so not up my street. Rooms are fine - clean and basic - Dove products in the bathroom - again probably to appeals to the Brits (I am one, but again I travel to get a local experience - only in Benidorm for a family holiday - not my usual place of travel so I wouldn't expect it to appeal to my needs). Bar service was great - quick, friendly and helpful staff.

Returned yesterday 23/12/25 after a weeks stay. Long queue for check in, but staff were quick and efficient.|This was our second stay in December and after having a lovely time last year booked again for a pre Christmas break.|Hotel nicely decorated, staff are lovely and friendly. Hotel spotless. |I think we dropped a clanger being so close to Christmas as a lot of guests arrived for the Christmas period and didn’t know when to stop drinking on the all inclusive and made other guests feel uncomfortable. Even saw parents of older children ordering drinks for them. Staff and security need to be more vigilant.|Food wasn’t as good as last year, although the prawns on Fridays dinner were gorgeous and we could always find something to eat. Did eat out a few times to break it up though. The all inclusive cocktails are pre-made from a dispenser and all taste the same. Other drinks are quite strong, definitely not UK measures.|If I was to return again would probably go first or second week of December before the masses turn up looking to get absolutely smashed. Over all had a good stay.

Great hotel in Benidorm. Beds are soooooo comfy. We were not planning staying in Benidorm since we were just passing by, so we booked a night in the middle of our trip just to rest. You might think you would not in a big resort type of hotel in Benidorm but don’t be fooled. This place has amazing rooms. It was quiet, fresh and comfy in the room. Downstairs you will find all the entertainment your heart desire, food, beer, pool, noise… but your room is an oasis of peace. Even the sofa beds were comfortable. We were very impressed.

Arrived Friday - reception was quick and efficient. No waiting around - which was good as I was tired post travelling . Plenty of of variety re food. I am very fussy so wasn’t keen on some of it . Breakfast was exceptionally good and no issues there. Got enough food to do me. Food much as I expected. |Staff are outstanding - so helpful and pleasant. I had a minor room problem - resolved immediately by reception. Very grateful for this as it could have made my stay uncomfortable.|Rooms are great. Large and comfortable. Liked the balcony. Hotel is spotless. My room cleaned every day. Nicely decorated for Christmas. |Hotel in a good location. Loads of shops etc. |Nice part of Benidorm. Beach not too far |away. Enjoying my stay.

We had 5 days here with several family members, it was our1st time at this hotel and we wasn't disappointed, nice and welcoming staff on arrival, we had a nice clean well presented room but even though we was on the building site side it wasn't noisy or anything. We had the red vip wristbands so could escape to the roof terrace for a bit of peace and quiet, even had a roof top pool and bar so nice little touch. There was nice selection of food and was clearly labelled so you know what your eating. Decent selection of drinks but I think that was more because we had the red wristbands as the blue ones get different selection but overall a lovely place to stay and we are back here in April next year.
