MedPlaya Hotel Regente

Had a fantastic time. Entertainment was excellent. Fantastic show on Thursday. Bar staff are friendly and efficient. Food really impressive with freshly cooked grill. All the staff are eager to help. Nacho the entertainment manager was absolutely brilliant and kept things lively and friendly. Would certainly come back here.

A week in the wonderful Benidorm. |We had a fabulous time at the Hotel Regente, checked in very efficiently and promptly by a gentleman who had a lot of people checking in at the same time whilst dealing with others. He was a gem and also ordered us taxis throughout our stay.||The room was bright and airy and was great for the week. We did however have an issue with one of the cleaners, we came back to our room early one day and she told us five minutes, and tried to stop us from going into the room. I’m on crutches so I told her that wouldn’t be possible and went onto the balcony and started playing cards. My boyfriend put the bag on the side to which she rudely asked him to move, and then huffed and puffed while she finished. However the room was cleaned perfectly for the week and I really liked the scheme they have with the towels.||The pool was clean, and no matter what time you went down you could get a sunbed. I think the pool should be open from 9am rather than 10am as it seemed like a long time after breakfast. The lifeguard was very cheery and the bar staff at the pool too, the chef cooked some amazing toasties and burgers! ||The breakfast and evening meals were lovely, we could always find something to eat and it was great to see different choices. A lovely touch from Juan and his team with the complimentary drink on the last evening due to it being someone’s birthday. They had decorated the restaurant too which was so sweet! Juan, along with Maria & Kimi looked after us whenever we ate, making sure everything was okay. They were always smiling!||Pedro and Marco at the entertainment bar, what a team! Nothing too much trouble and a credit to the hotel! The happiest pair you could ever ask to meet!||A fab week, thank you Team Regente!!

Arrived on the 14th for a week. Lovely hotel, slightly out the way but not too inconvenient. The rooms were lovely and cleaned with beds made everyday! The food was always nice, sometimes limited for choice but that’s expected sometimes (if picky). Cannot fault the staff, always willing to help, especially the night shift receptionist (i’m so annoyed i didn’t ask his name) on Tuesday night when my partner had a medical emergency, he gave thorough information to myself when i was a bit stressed and made sure to check with us a few hours later! ||Some feedback, the pool is absolutely lovely and cool and well kept however all the stones to walk on were wobbly and constantly banging when walked on, it also seemed very dead, there was no atmosphere, other hotels have music playing or entertainment like aqua aerobics but not here. As well as this the evening entertainment isn’t great in my personal opinion and was lacking in actual entertainment. Also in the room the tv wasn’t tuned properly. There is also a pool gate which cuts out walking around the hotel from the entrance which is a longer way, when asked said it was closed however we witnessed multiple people using it? ||Overall a nice hotel, fabulous staff! Would come again but after looking at other options ☺️

The hotel is clean. Staff accommodating. The rooms are a little too small when 3 adults sharing but are comfortable enough. |There’s no extractor fans in the bathroom.|The hairdryer kept cutting out so I would suggest taking your own. It does eventually start again once cooled down. I found coming out the bathroom to dry my hair helped. |The air con is good enough (pretty strong if in the 3rd bed as it blows over the top of you) The controls all worked. |Plenty of choice for breakfast. Food van by the pool for drinks and snacks. |The pool side is a little cramped but we always got a sun bed. There is a life guard on duty. |We used shared transfers and they drop you off/pick up on the main road. |We had no instructions on how to get into the hotel. So if you are looking at the wall, you need to walk to the left and turn right at the first corner and up the hill and the main entrance is on your right.

I have been to this Hotel twice this year with my teenage grandsons. I can’t fault a single thing. It’s spotless clean, very pleasant and helpful staff and the food is delicious. I will definitely be back soon for a third stay. The beds are the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced in any Hotel and the rooms are quite soundproof. Close to all amenities, Levante beach, restaurants and shops. Also close to Aqualandia and Benidorm Palace. I absolutely loved the Hotel Regente.

Just got back from a week here, we went all inclusive but we ended up having our tea out most nights due to the food in the hotel. I am not a fussy eater but they wasn’t much choice to have, I also went with 2 fussy eaters and they didn’t like anything. The entertainment on a night wasn’t on for long but the entertainment management nacho was brilliant& entertaining throughout the day as well. If i was going to go back I wouldn’t go all inclusive

Immaculately clean reception, bar and dining area. Food was good- unlike other hotels didn't appear to rely on cheaper cuts of meat. Plenty of choice, fresh food. The Dining Manager Juan was on the ball, friendly, nothing was too much trouble for him and he ran things very well. ||Only criticism of hotel was that the rooms were smaller than they appear on the website, however still big enough for a couple. ||Rooms cleaned, towels and bedding changed daily, no issues at all. ||Overall a very enjoyable stay, and for a hotel that's smaller than some of the others nearby we found the food, cleanliness and friendly staff way better than others we had previously stayed in nearby. Would definitely return.|10 out of 10.

I wanted to share my positive experience from my recent second visit. I found it to be a great hotel with a friendly staff and an excellent selection of food. Additionally, the daytime entertainer significantly enhanced our stay with his humor. He consistently went above and beyond to make us laugh, especially with our running joke about his jingling keys. I'm looking forward to booking another stay in August.
