MedPlaya Hotel Regente

Location of hotel is good for bars and restaurants as loads near by. The hotel is clean and tidy the rooms are tidied up daily also the food is great in the restaurant. The only gripe I had was you had to pay 1 euro for a cup of ice, not sure if this is the norm as never had to pay for ice elsewhere. The coach could not get up to the hotel so drops you on the main road which isn't a problem if you are ok walking if you are not then trying to pull suitcases up the little incline by the side of the hotel could be an issue for you. All in all a good hotel at the new end of Benidorm as the walk to old town is about 40 mins depends how quick you walk.

We arrived at the hotel at 10-45 pm . The night staff that was on and checked us was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble for him . Can’t remember his name sorry but he was on the night time . Check in was easy . 5 days stay Monday-Friday all inclusive A/I is only till 11pm || We Went upto our room , nice room clean and tidy , lovely view but was a little small for 3 off us but we managed. Cleaned daily and clean towels daily . Air con could do with a little update |Day one |Went for breakfast , restaurant nice and clean , staff lovely and friendly, plenty of choice to eat . Fruit, cereal, pastries , cooked breakfasts, continental breakfast, egg station being cooked fresh ,|Pool nice and clean , no problems getting sunbeds and you could sit up at the top deck if you wanted it a little quieter |Shack truck doing snacked , burgers toasties , drinks opened 11am -6pm |Some entertainment on daily |Lunchtime food was good |Evening meal food good , the manager/head waiter was lovely but only seen him on evening , lots of options of food and again different meat/fish being cooked , seen chef checking on food regularly. |For my 1st time to Benidorm it was Overall a nice hotel , close to beach , shops , nightlife but away enough to chill, |I would return to the hotel but |My only criticism is a couple of the bar staff were a bit miserable and rude , didn’t give you time of day and as if it was too much trouble on occasion. But as I say nice hotel overall

We had a wonderful stay at MedPlaya Hotel Regente! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special thanks to the receptionist, who gave us a map and took the time to explain everything in detail — he recommended visiting the Old Town, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. The food was varied and delicious every day, with plenty of options to choose from. For a hotel of this size, everything was well maintained and quite clean. There were a few minor cleanliness issues in the bathroom, but the towels and bed linen were perfectly clean and fresh, which we really appreciated. Great value for money. We definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to come back again!

Been going to Regente hotel for quite a few years, staff are amazing, entertainment is really good, the 2 entertainers Natxo & Alberto go above & beyond for everyone, i guarantee every adult & child would love them, they have games for kids & adults during the day. Bar staff are really friendly & pleasant. The beds are really comfortable, food is lovely, you will always find something to eat even for picky eaters. Evening entertainment starts with kids games then theres quizzes & a show or 2 shows each night then disco or karaoke afterwards. We can't fault this hotel in any way. We have our next holiday booked here & will keep returning

Decided to go half board this time as usually go self catering so chose this as a 4 star thinking it would be well above average . | Food generally was acceptable with the breakfast being very good and some evening meals too being excellent. Best food was definitely local dishes for me although the cooked English breakfast option seemed very popular. | Staff amazing , rooms comfortable and clean , facilities good . | Only thing I would say is that for a four star hotel I didn’t expect to feel like the entire UK customer base of Wetherspoons had booked in . Still , it made for excellent people watching 😆. | Highlight for me was the family straight off “ Shameless” joining in the family entertainment thinking that everyone would appreciate the word “CXXT” used in front of kids etc ……| Entertaining but not entirely sure I’d come back as I think the clientele definitely made it feel low end . | I’m not a snob by any stretch but there are limits 😆

Had a fantastic time. Entertainment was excellent. Fantastic show on Thursday. Bar staff are friendly and efficient. Food really impressive with freshly cooked grill. All the staff are eager to help. Nacho the entertainment manager was absolutely brilliant and kept things lively and friendly. Would certainly come back here.

Just home from our stay in the Regente Hotel. We had a fantastic holiday and would highly recommend staying at the Regente. A nice size hotel perfect for families, staff are welcoming and very polite. Unlike some other Spanish hotels. Rooms are modern, clean and kept well by the cleaners, towels changed every day when needed. Food in the restaurant was very good, plenty of options. Pool was a good size, and we didn't have to rush to find a sunbed. Short walk to the main strip for bars etc. Would definitely book another stay if coming back to Benidorm.

Morning staff is Arrogant and very rude ask him something and pulls his face. Afternoon one is nothing but happy and absolutely lovely and always smiling. Night time one again just doesn’t wanna be there and rude did witness him swearing at an old man struggling to remember his room.|Again bar staff afternoon a lovely fella and small one in evenings is seriously miserable.|Very tidy hotel but lifts are shocking and waiting an age. Food is disgusting (well breakfast)
