Arrived with TUI, saturday 20th Sept....7 night stay, checking in was a bit of a chore, 2 coach loads, told to leave cases & go for a drink...come back in a couple of hours, which we did. Room a little basic but all clean & tidy, beds fine, fridge & kettle, bit disappointed with 3rd floor view over main entrance rather than pool view but free safe if booked with TUI. Booked H/B, and bought the 3 Euro per person per night drinks package...value for money ( half price offer at check-in ) Found the breakfast & evening meal pretty good, always something decent. bring your mugs down from room, saves queing at coffee machine. Swam most days in the pool even though rather chilly and stayed away from sunbed rush hour until the afternoon always found beds. Rather busy hotel with one or two Chavs, but most people we chatted to were lovely. Drinks, hotel prices but plenty of cheaper bars & offers outside. Entertainment through out the day by the Animation team, and in the two bars in the evening with quite a few good performers...not a lot of dancing though, majority seemed elderly. All in all, give the Rio Park a chance, we did as a couple in our late 50's and really enjoyed ourselves. One grumble, the Lifts can be a pain but it is a large hotel. Almost forgot the staff in all departments were lovely.
