Medplaya Hotel Rio Park

Returned from a weeks stay at the Rio Park, Benidorm with friends. We all had a great time.||Good selection of food for breakfast and evening meal. The Gala buffet on the Friday evening was excellent. We opted for the drinks package , on arrival, which was 3 euros per night to drink in the restaurant. With this you could have beer, wine, soft drinks and water.||The room was cleaned daily and was adequate for our needs. It had a hair dryer, ac, a TV , a safe and a fridge. They provided soap, body wash and shampoo ((Dove) which was a nice touch. I was in the pull down bed as there were 3 sharing the room. The bed was a good size and comfortable.||A big shout out to Luke and the entertainment team. They were brilliant and put on a great show for Medfest. There was a foam party during the day which was great fun. A variety of activities were available throughout our weeks stay as well as activities in the pool.||Transfers to and from airport were good. The Tui rep was available most mornings for advice.||Definitely worth a visit.

Just returned from a one week stay at this hotel. Rooms were comfortable and cleaned every day, although had to request extra towels some days as we were a room of 3 not 2. There was a good variety of food each day and the Gala night was fantastic. A special shout out to the Entertainments Team who were friendly and worked tirelessly on activities and shows. Would definitely return to this hotel.

We have been here before. Wonderful hotel for couples or families. Friendly staff always willing to help. Very clean. Our room was cleaned every day with clean towels when needed. Food was amazing. We stayed half board so breakfast had everything you could want, from hot food to cereals and fresh juices and fruits. The evening meal was just as good. Many different foods and different themes every evening. They even had a special kids food bar with a selection of nuggets & burgers etc. There is a lunch time bar which sells snack which is also very good. |There is evening entertainment on every night with singing, dancing and games. |The location is in the middle of old town and the new town, but is around a ten minute walk to the sea front. This is fine if you don’t mind the walk. It’s around €5 by taxi into old town/new town if you don’t fancy the walk. All that said it’s wonderful Hotel. |We will definitely be coming back again.

This hotel is a lovely hotel close to the bars and beach.|I really like how this hotel deals with the sunbed wars. The pool area opens at 9am which means you don’t have to be up at the crack of dawn to get a bed. There are plenty of beds to go around although not all with shade.|The food is average although I always found something to eat. Breakfast was probably the best. Oh and the Sunday roast was lovely!|The staff in the hotel are really friendly and helpful.

Brilliant hotel, just returned from a 5 night stay, weather was beautiful. Rooms; very clean spacious and cleaned daily. Pool; open 9 - 5 very clean!! Life guard their at all times. Plenty sun loungers. Food; only booked breakfast which was Okay.. bacon wasn’t English, plenty of choice though. We paid €10 each night for tea which was lovely, lots of selection. Chinese night on Fridays which was amazing!! Have to pay extra for drinks but the staff walk round with a trolly with cold drinks! Entertainment; something on every night, mainly singing acts then karaoke. Close to main strip, plenty of bars & restaurants and 10 minute walk to beach which was lovely!! Highly recommend! Thank you Rio Park for a lovely stay!!!

Was there last week for a Family holiday. The service was incredible, staff was lovely and extremely helpful and the food was heavenly. However one downside to the hotel was its Elevator System as not only was it on one circuit but you can hear unsupervised kids push buttons and giggling running down the stairs to the Next floor repeating the cycle. Taking longer to arrive on designed floors.

This hotel is great, it's central to all things, 15 minutes on either side is new/old town, 10 minutes to the beach and approximately 6 minutes to the strip if you want to club and drink. The reception is clean, the rooms are basic but clean and the maids are making the beds daily and changing towels. The bathroom has a hairdryer, and hand soap and the shower has body wash and shampoo all Dove. There is a kettle with a few coffees, tea bags and some small milk portions, you will also find a small fridge in the room to keep things cool. Meals are buffet style and at meal times they are crammed full. There is a swimming pool but only opens at certain times, there is a large kid's area and a games room with a small bookcase where people leave the books they read or take them to swap. This is a friendly family hotel and we love staying here.

Just returned from a week's holiday here. Food was lovely very good choice and something different every night. The meats were cooked perfect. Kebab night was our favourite 😋. They have a small separate food section for kids which is great. Snack bar had plenty of choice for days around the pool. Pop more expensive than alchol we found vending machines better value. Busy hotel but never felt we had to queue for 2 long. And plenty sunbeds. Lifeguard seen taking off towels for people leaving beds unattended for hours Great entertainment for both kids and adults day and night. We didn't feel we needed to leave hotel due to being plenty to keep the kids busy. The games room is definitely a bonus 👌. Rooms cleaned everyday not enough towels for 4 people had to request more a few times but was always got them straight away. Our only complaint was we had to be moved rooms as 1 part of the group was put into a room for 3 people not 4 although there was 4 on the booking but hotel didnt have our 4th guest on their notes. Got a better room with a fab pool view in the end. 15 mins walk to the beach, supermarkets 2 mins away for snacks drinks ect. We will definitely be returning in the future lovely stay 😊
