MedPlaya Hotel Riudor

Check In||Very Simple arrived early room wasn't ready but allocated our all inclusive+ bands put our cases in store room and chilled till our room was ready which didn't take long .||Room|Room was nicely decorated we had been allocated high west facing room which had been requested . This had a side view of the pool and overlooked the busy strip does get noisy at times but didn't bother us ideal.|Twin room beds were comfy got a decent sleep |Shower also no issues very decent also got dove soap and shower gel included albeit we had taken our own . Very nice no issues ||Pool Area |Given it was end of March wasn't over busy did take a dip in once which was refreshing fine once you were in .|No issue with sunbeds again state it was March though weather was very decent .|Sun terrace where we could usually be found is elevated overlooking the pool leads into the bar/entertainment area .|Few televisions dotted about should you want to watch anything.|Bar itself well laid out in a good position for day and night .|We had chosen AI+ which was good decent selection of drinks staff always cheerful and helpful on many occasions bring your drinks out to you.||Food|just your typical AI nothing to rave about but nothing to moan about always something decent to eat be it breakfast , lunch or dinner no issues always laugh when i read nothing to eat .||Entertainment|Well your in the centre of Benidorm right next to Talk of the Coast who have various acts on but in the hotel was Ok had singers on and then led to karaoke. |Were lucky we met loads of lovely people so craic was good when we stayed in .|The position of the hotel gives you the luxury of jumping out for a bit and then back to hotel AI+ lasted till 1am more than enough .||Summary |would i go back yes stayed in various Benidorm hotels all which i've enjoyed |plus points for here in my view is position in the heart of it and 5 mins from the beach .|Caution is at night noise level we were ready for it knew what to expect so was ok.|Staff are excellent look after you well .||Big cheers

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Rooms are dated, bathrooms dated. Emailed hotel asking for low floor room with pool view didnt happen. One lift was out of order so had to queue. Breakfast was nice lunch and evening meals were terrible (luke warm food). Cut off times for all inclusive drinks they would serve you if you paid never had this in any hotel in Benidorm before. Staff were helpful. Room cleaned every day. Entertainment was fine.

Perfect hotel for me and my friend for a girls holiday. Ideal location right next to the strip and a busy bar -Waikiki. Staff were really friendly, clean, airconditioned rooms that you didn’t need to pay for. Nice view on the balcony of the strip. Quite a small fridge and wardrobe space. Perfect location for shops and busy area if you’re looking to be busy and out and about. Good enough sitting round the pool, only managed the breakfast once as hungover! (But it was quite standard).

3 night stay for husbands birthday. Great location. Clean hotel. Rooms a tad small. Although we had breakfast included we never made it down, so can't comment. We did have some pool bar food which was ok, ive had better. We literally used this as a Base though, never spent much time at all in the hotel apart from the last day. The pool was great, shallow but that suited me. Our room was on morgans tavern side and once the patio door was shut we never heard a thing. Would stay again just for location alone.

Emailed hotel asking for low floor with pool view didnt happen. Rooms very basic no drawers in room. Bathroom needed updating. Maid service was good. Entertainment was good. Food is poor, not hot at all. Couldnt really have a meal there was meat but no vegetables on a couple of nights.Snack bar food was much better hotter and edible.Be aware all inclusive drinks stop at a certain time we were not aware of this.

Just stayed here and this is an honest review of our experience.|Check in - gave us keys and a bit of paper never mentioned times for check out, meal times or anything |Room - small but adequate loud on balcony but it’s right on the strip so as expected can’t really hear anything once door is closed but can imagine on a lower floor it’s not as quiet. Cleaners didn’t really do much in the rooms just made the bed and gave toilet roll.|Snack bar food was horrible but staff on there always lovely and smiley.|Didn’t have breakfast but had dinner and we thought food was better than expected plenty of choice. |Pool - people hogging two beds each, towels being left for hours with nobody on them. We saw two couples left at 11am came back at 4pm, needs to be monitored or people need to stop being selfish. Okay hotel wouldn’t come back

Stayed Nov 24 , for 4 nights, in room 811 on the 8th floor - view from the balcony was nice with some sea view. Requested a room near a lift due to mobility problems - this was sorted. Room was basic but had everything you needed. Beds were ok, not brilliant but not uncomfortable, either. Cleaning was good and every day - sheets were not changed during our 4 nights stay but beds were made.|Stayed on a half board basis which we found to be good and plentiful. Hotel restaurant was clean, the staff service your table for drinks and tables are cleared, promptly.|Pool is small but in November no-one was in there anyway|250 metres from the beach and the promenade which was a bit of a distance for me to walk but we managed this by just sitting in cafes and having a drink - there were benches as well for 'pit-stops'. The hotel rent out mobility scooters (single and double scooters) and this is what we will do when we return.|We like this hotel as it is central to a lot of shops, bars and restaurants. It can get quite busy, even in November but we did not find this a problem. There are bars that play music all day so it can be noisy on occasions particularly mid day - night (we were not kept awake late at night by any noise issues).|All in all, we enjoyed our stay at the Riudor and are going again Nov 25 and have requested the same room or another room on the 8th floor|Looking forward to seeing you again Riudor|Julie

The Riudor is a super clean hotel located in the heart of the atmosphere. Friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was full of choice and all fresh. The rooms are spotless, cleaned every day. Would definitely stay again.
