The food and drinks were amazing and really beautifully made. The crepes weren’t too sweet and I personally loved them - they’re really simple and tasty. They add a little scoop of homemade ice cream on the top too that isn’t too sweet and is kind of icy. The hojicha I ordered was on point too and perfect temperature. Drink menu is large and oat milk is available for milk substitution. The interior of the cafe is actually beautiful and so comfortable, probably some of the most thoughtful and best interior design I’ve seen in a cafe. Even the ceiling and lamps is really pretty to look at. Service was really nice.

Loved this place! The coffee was great, the atmosphere amazing and the staff was really nice (they do speak English). The music was really calming and not too loud. Definitely recommend this place ! They also have oat milk as an option if you don’t drink regular milk

Very good pancakes, and completely honestly one of the best coffees I’ve ever tried, definitely recommend. Dishes and drinks were served beautifully and the service was excellent. Also the interior design allow you to feel the Japanese culture.

The crepes taste subtly, delicious and light, and you can choose an organic version. It does take a while, cause they make them fresh for you. Worth it. You can also buy some necklaces from cherry wood.

The atmosphere was fantastic, with live music played on traditional instruments adding a special touch. We really enjoyed our time there. However, the coffee was a bit of a letdown. We ordered hand-dripped coffee, but it was too thin for our taste.

Charming and quaint cafe. Crepe took a long while so be prepared to wait. Crepes are alright. Coffee is not strong enough. Too much milk. Hojicha not much flavour either.

You must go here if you are in Nikko. The best cafe we have been to in our time in Japan. Beautiful atmosphere, kind service & delicious food & coffee. Loved the vegan crepes for breakfast!

Yelp
Charming location and delicious food. Highly recommend! It's in an old antiques shop so don't let the old signage fools you. Although they are open till 6pm (from what I can tell), they only serve food until they run out (and then serve tea and sweets after), so earlier the better. The delightful server didn't speak a lot of English but the menu was incredibly simple with two options, and we got one of each. The miso soup that came before the meal was really good. I'm not sure what we ordered (a curry of some sorts and then an unusual meal of an eggy, tofu sheet wrapped around dandelion and rice), but I get the sense that the menu changes frequently. Of the two, I recommend the curry but both were great! Almost better than the food was the picturesque atmosphere. Very cost and didn't feel gimmicky. There were Japanese style tables by the windows and a couple of Western style tables as well. I used the traditional phrases "Itadakimasu" (lit. I will receive, ie bob appetit) before the meal and "Gochiso-sama deshita" (lit. It was a feast), much to our host's delight.
