You have to climb a lot of steep and narrow stairs in this medivial tower to get to the top but you are rewarded with a unique 360° view of the city and surroundings. The climb itself is tiring but also not that bad because you have opportunities to sit down and rest. You can also stop to admire the architecture and wonder what it was like back when the tower was actively used.

1425/29 erbaut um die Stadt gegen die Burg zu verteidigen. Und das hat offenbar gereicht, denn es gab nie einen solchen Angriff. Ist von überall zu sehen, eigentlich thront ja immer eine Burg über einer Stadt. Bei.mir war leider geschlossen. Deshalb nicht alle Sterne. Öffnungszeiten, laut Fleyer und laut Anschrift an der Turmtür ist jetzt So. Von 11 bis 16 Uhr geöffnet.
