Mei Keng Fatt Seafood Restaurant 美景发海鲜酒家

Our first visit to Mei Keng Fatt was an absolute delight, and it definitely did not disappoint! Every dish we ordered was amazingly delicious, especially the crab, fish, and prawns—all fresh and bursting with flavor. The taste was simply fantastic! On top of the great food, the service was exceptional! The manager and crew were attentive, friendly, and efficient, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, we’ll definitely be back for another round of amazing seafood!

A hidden gem - Local family restaurant that has a long history and serves amazing food. Good portions and truly satisfying. On the pricey side but the ingredients are fresh and properly prepared. Worth it! They certainly deserve a higher rating above on Google. Update Dec 2024: MKF is still consistently very good.

One if the hallmarks of Chinese food in Kuala Lumpur. The restaurant is spacious, well set up and very clean. Staffs are friendly and above all food is excellent. I had one of the best Soon Hock fish here, fried rice here is excellent and the beef here is also very good. Price is on the higher side but without a doubt its worth it with the quality of food you get. Highly recommended. Well done..! 👍

The crabs is super fresh! There is a one service staff auntie ( short & black hair ) I would like to give her thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 even older however her caring for the customer is the best! Recommendation is 👍🏻 Service is 👍🏻 and we are seating in behind however there is no service staffs come & provide service because we are having crabs 🦀 hand us dirty hard to pour beer for ourselves. Lucky have her then we additional order one more big crabs 🦀

Food was delicious, had their honey chicken, loved it, their hotplate tofu was nice, their pork belly with salted fish was not too bad, but felt the pork belly slices bit too big. Parking is plentiful

The stir-fry dishes here are super tasty and worth a try!

Got parking spaces. The bitter gourd dish not so nice, rest is pretty ok. Trying again the second time today. Ginger scallion deer was the best for me and only 28, squid was slightly pricey, 48. The pork lots of bones but taste ok too.

Everything’s sweet taste based. Maybe a they use a lot of sugar in every dishes. I dislike the taste totally. I do not recommend any of the dishes if you preferred your dishes or food to be salty base and not sweet sugar base.

May Mey serves Chinese food and specialises in Seafood, as the name suggest. May Mey is relatively not busy on weekends compared to the other Chinese restaurants in the area. I think its because the food is very mediocre. I personally don't like it as I feel the food taste weird and not like how chinese food should taste. Its always a little too sweet and the texture of the food is peculiar too. Pricing is okay, moderate. The good thing about this place is that its clean, the floors are clean and the restaurants dining area is clean too. They have a air conditioned area and an outside area, i prefer the outside area cause the air conditioned area smells weird. I probably won't dine here again because the last time made me pretty unhappy. I rather dine at Beng Kee which is just down the street.

I live really close to this restaurant - and out of all the other restaurants along this road, my family usually goes for this one because we find it to be the most delicious and also, cheaper than the others (depends on what you get). We usually order the marmite chicken (my grandpa loves it!), salted tofu or/and sizzling tofu (I don't like tofu but theirs is really good!). Their 'cheong cheng' steamed fish and butter prawns are also pretty good. I have not tried their crab dishes though. Oh, they also have really good noodles there - my personal favorite is the clay poy loh shi fun ("mouse-tail noodles"). Their wan tan hor and Hokkien mee are also very tasty. Parking is generally not a problem here as they have an open parking lot for customers.
