A great place for a break, either inside or on the terrace, with, perhaps, one of Germany’s best beers! A micro-brewery for the past 20 years, this place offers one of the creamiest, smoothest lager and stout that I’ve had in Germany! The food is also not bad and the service almost friendly (especially compared to Berlin). I recommend buying some corked beer bottles to take home!

Props to the founder who thought of building a Brewery at this spot! Beautiful scenery right before the brewery. There is an indoor restaurant and an outdoor beer garden. I think the little kiosk(or imbiss?) separate to the restaurant opens at weekends? The beer is above average, I would recommend the Rotbier or Potsdamer. When I visited here by myself, it was packed with people and I had to wait about 20 minutes in line. The lady recommended me the Märzen Bier, which was tasteful. I would like to bring my parents here someday.

Lovely spot. The beer is very fresh and light. I’m told it can be quite touristy in summer.

View was great. Beer was traditional, yet tasty. Unfortunately, the 14€ burger felt like a frozen burger patty that would be served at a high-school sporting event. I went to Burger Art in Berlin and for almost half the price, you can get a really decent burger. I recommend grabbing a beer and skipping the food.

We’re very completely disappointed with the service. After we walked in, we’ve been completely ignored by waiters and had to almost fight just to ask about tables availability. Received rude reply and had nothing else but to leave.

I came here towards the end of a busy day visiting Potsdam's palaces. I had a beer and bratwurst and had a nice seat overlooking the lake (Jungfernsee). The nearby jetty was busy as tourist boats picked up and disgorged their customers. It was a fine spot to reflect on an excellent day. Prices were okay, but the queues for food and drink were not short. Buses ran from around 400 metres away to take one into Potsdam.

I wont recommend for dining in but the ambience and the beer are one of the best. You can sit near the lake and chill

Beer is good and so is the bockwurst. But speaking of worst, that sums up the service. A graveyard has warmer and friendlier service We're from Canada, but I believe they think we're Americans So we're not getting any service. This place is for locals only, not for tourists. Avoid!

My favorite beer garden in the Potsdam Area!! The Meierei sits right along side the Havel and is great place to grab a liter of locally brewed Pils, relax, and enjoy the scenery. Beer is decently priced and there is a restaurant within the garden for post-drink munchies. If you grab a beer, make sure to try the Spezial. It is a darker, more hoppy beer yet sweeter than the Helles and is my favorite. The garden sits right next to Schloss Cecilienhof and is only a short walk from the schloss itself. So after that 2 hour walking tour, I'm sure you will want to grab yourself a cold one and relax for a bit. A DEFINITE must see in the Potsdam Area.

Yes - we will do this again today! Yesterday we went there w/ the team and had a real good time!!! The food is OK, but the beer is very good. Only the landscape w/ the nearby lake is beating the good beer. So try to stay outside and have an extra beer! The service is slow and not to professional. Unfortunately they close at 10pm.

Aside from the pretzel... this place is so cool. A really nice looking brewery with a great view and lots to eat. Can get busy on nice days so make sure you go there. The Meierei has great beers and I recommend trying them! It is a little tough to find if you are in the park at first, but keep trying, you'll get there and it will be so worth it!
