Meiko Tailor is a true Singapore staple and an absolute must for anyone serious about bespoke dresswear. I initially commissioned just one custom shirt—I was familiar with Meiko’s reputation and rich history, but I wanted to experience the craftsmanship firsthand before ordering more. Unlike many custom shirting shops, Meiko allows you to design every detail down to the millimeter. If you can imagine it, they can create it. I was blown away when my first shirt arrived just two weeks later. The fit, quality, and attention to detail exceeded all expectations. As a Washington, DC resident, I’ve had shirts made by several local bespoke tailors, but none come close to Meiko’s level of precision, customization, and execution—especially at nearly half the price of DC tailors. Impressed, I went back and designed a more complex second shirt featuring a California collar, cocktail cuffs, and nearly a dozen other custom details. Once again, it was flawless. Between the seemingly limitless customization options, impeccable quality, local manufacturing in Singapore, and perfect fit, Meiko ranks as one of the best bespoke tailor shops I’ve ever experienced. And beyond the shirts themselves, the customer service is second to none. The staff are friendly, passionate, and genuinely committed to making sure you’re satisfied every step of the way.

Husband had a linen suit made for our outdoor Perth summer wedding. He loved that it was lightweight & breezy and that it kept him cool! I was surprised with how painless the initial consultation process was - all we did was bring in the ties my husband intended to wear with the suit, and mentioned we wanted a linen suit but had no idea of colours. Baste fitting was only 6 days after our initial visit!

My experience with Meiko Tailor was a pleasant one. I appreciated how patient Master Chung and his daughter Adele were towards me. I spent a great deal of time deciding on what fabric to choose for my wedding suit. They knew how important it was when it comes to choosing the right fabric for one’s wedding suit. That left a very good impression on me. Besides that, they have a wide variety of high quality fabric, and their craftsmanship is impeccable. They have a great sense of style and gave very good suggestions when it came to choosing the right colors to complement my skin tone. Compared to other tailors that I have come across, they do not simply care to make a sale but also care about how the suit will turn out and whether it matches the person wearing it. That gave me confidence in them and I knew I could entrust my wedding suit to them. All in all, I definitely made the right decision choosing Meiko Tailor and I have no regrets.

Meiko tailor is one of the finest tailor in town. I wanted to commission a new suit for a special event and was worried that I may not have enough time. I spoke with Uncle Chung and Adele to let them know what I wanted and they immediately began work on measuring me during the first meeting. Within a week, my first fitting was scheduled and the whole suit was done within 3 weeks. Uncle Chung knew exactly what I wanted for the suit, made all the finishing which I desired and made a suit which I am very excited to wear. They were really nice and discussed with me about every aspect from the peaked lapels of my suit to the side adjustors on my pants. It was a pleasurable and memorable experience and I'm very glad to have commissioned a suit with them!

Unsure of the quality of their suits but can 1000% attest to the quality of their service. I had an appointment arranged for 3:30pm (which was in itself difficult to get due to their lack of initial responding), I came over from JB to SG specifically for this appointment but was never able to find the store. I called them 5 times and messaged a further 20 but had zero response. I've never experienced service like this & I hope I never have to. I've attached my one sided WhatsApp convo as proof. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID IF YOU FROM OUTSIDE SG. Would not guarantee that if you do find the store, you will get the product you requested or it will arrive. Mr Chung, if you are reading this - your daughter is not handling your business in the best way possible.

Had several shirts and trousers tailored for myself here. Before deciding to commission them, I had a session with Adele to consult on what she thinks would suit my skin tone, build and lifestyle, which was very pleasant and insightful. The range of quality fabrics is both amazing and overwhelming, but Adele’s recommendation really helped me to nail down my choices. Really love how my commissions turned out, the fit and quality of the tailoring are impeccable. Especially love the collars of the shirts; they give the shirts a distinctive look and presence when worn. I could not recommend Meiko tailor enough if you’re looking for a wardrobe overhaul or just new pieces of clothing for more formal occasions.
