We dined here for our final night in Canggu and I was blown away. Working in Hospitality for 10+ years, my expectations were highly exceeded in all areas; food, service, atmosphere, interior design and flow and even choice of dinnerware. Everything about this restaurant has been thought of in great detail from floor to ceiling, wall to wall. Everything was beautiful and gorgeous. Everywhere you look, you cannot help but admire what you see. The staff were super friendly, attentive, knowledgeable. They explained all elements of each dish and drink presented to us and were clean and quick between each course. Their wine service was also perfect from the presentation to the pour. The kitchen was stunning and one of the best open concept designs I’ve seen. It was clean, professional, beautiful pass and you can see how focused and coordinated the team was and how the kitchen was like an extension of them. The kitchen design was meant to emulate the warmth of a grandma’s cooking at home and that sense of comfort and care is felt throughout. Bartenders are well trained and really know their stuff. Drinks did not take long and were all unique, delicious and strong in the best way. (Two of their house cocktails were enough to get me in that sweet spot). The amount of preparation into each element for both the food and cocktails are innovative, thoughtful, outstanding and fresh. And the great thing about this venue is that if you are unable to make it for dinner service, you can hang back for late night bites and drinks which is a whole vibe itself. This restaurant is everything you could ever ask for in a perfect evening. Thank you so much. I see you and your team and the effort you have put into the venue. You have set the standard of what restaurant hospitality is and should be. You should all be so proud. I will be recommending all my friends and family who come to visit Bali to make their way to you in Canggu and I will definitely will be back when I make my next visit from Sydney. I recently visited this restaurant and tried their new menu and I absolutely loved everything! The beef carpaccio is a must-try, perfectly done and so flavorful. The prawns were incredible, and the corn rice in the mains was such a standout! The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. My boyfriend has a dairy allergy, and they made sure to check with the kitchen if every dish if it had dairy before we ordered, which we truly appreciated! Overall, it’s a lovely place to dine, great ambiance, delicious food, and a team that really takes care of you. Highly recommend! 💖

Had dinner at Meimei Bali last night and really enjoyed it. The dishes are bold, rich in Southeast Asian flavors, and beautifully executed, you can taste the depth of the spices in every bite. I had the smoked beef cheek curry, Angus bavette, tomato salad, pork belly, and stir-fried vegetables: everything was cooked perfectly. The meats were tender and flavorful, and the balance of herbs and spices was spot-on without feeling heavy. It’s like Southeast Asian comfort food, but elevated into a refined dining experience. The Balinese chocolate tart was also incredible rich, but not overly sweet. It was my favorite!! The space feels warm and modern, with that minimalist wood-and-stone vibe that makes it perfect for a cozy dinner. Definitely one of the best new spots in Bali if you love bold flavors done right.

My partner and I chose Meimei for our date night, and the entire experience was absolutely amazing. My partner has strict dietary restrictions, and to be honest, we have never felt so well taken care of by any restaurant before. From the thoughtful text messages before we even arrived, double-checking every detail of the dietary requirements to personally customizing a menu through text, the level of care was truly exceptional. It gave us so much peace of mind. We had planned to order a lot more that night, but unfortunately I wasn’t feeling well and didn’t have much appetite. Even so, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! The flavors, presentation, and quality were incredible. A special shoutout to Wede, the waitress who took such attentive care of us throughout the evening. Her service made the experience even more memorable. We will definitely be back on our next trip! Highly recommended to everyone!

This was absolutely the best meal we have had all through Bali. I am still stunned by how amazing everything tasted, not to mention the exquisite cocktails as well. Honestly every dish was amazing, but my absolute recommendations are below: - crab opor on toast: literally a bite in heaven, booming with flavours and so fresh - pepes mackerel: beautifully cooked fish, quite a big portion as well - pomelo salad: super refreshing - spit-roasted chicken: sooooo tender - beef short ribs: the flavour, the texture, the charcoal grill - everything to die for - caramelised banana & popcorn The decor was also stunning, love the elegant and warm ambiance

I had a great dining experience at Mei Mei Bali. - Service: I was lucky to have Cindy as my waitress and she was amazing, attentive, friendly, and made the evening feel extra enjoyable. - Food: The Angus beef skewers were tender and juicy, cooked perfectly. The Hokkaido scallop was so fresh and tasty, a real highlight of the meal. The smoked beef cheek curry was rich and interesting, though the flavor profile was a bit unusual for my taste. - Ambiance: Warm, modern, and stylish, the kind of place that works equally well for a date night or a nice dinner with friends.

Had the 7-course chef’s selection dinner here and wow — everything was amazing. The vibe at the restaurant is elegant and romantic, but still feels relaxed and not too formal. Our favorites were definitely the half roasted chicken (so juicy!) and the grilled prawns — seriously delicious. Dessert was the perfect sweet ending. Such a beautiful night, would 100% come back!
