"A Relaxing Activity I love the National Botanic Garden of Belgium. We went there last summer when the daisies were in bloom and it looked so beautiful. This year I am looking forward to the Magnolia walk which takes place from March 30th till April 30th. It's a great, cheap way to spend your day."

A hidden gem just outside Brussels! Absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. The whole garden is clean, quiet, and full of gorgeous plants from all over the world. It’s the perfect place for a peaceful escape or a day out with the family. There’s so much space to walk, relax, and just enjoy the greenery. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a calm and beautiful spot to unwind.

My friends and I came here in May. There were many beautiful roses in bloom in May and we enjoyed walking around. The cacti in the green house were also in bloom. I have never seen so many cacti in bloom all at once. There were many interesting plants, and I was thrilled to see a lotus leaf big enough for a baby to climb on!! The lawn outside was also very nice.

Really great place to spend time with your family in nature. In a few years, once the vegetation and trees they planted on the pond will look really good. It's best to visit late spring and summer to enjoy the lush greenery. The coffee shop has really good drinks and food. There's a big greenhouse with exotic plants and many different kinds of species from around the world. The magnolia trees in spring come in full bloom. We spent 3h exploring the place.

Amazing experience! The areas of the park were huge and well organised, we managed to see the corpse flower in bloom (only 2 days!!!) and everything was really well signaled and taken care of. We came at the perfect time.

Spent four hours here, could as well have been the entire day. Beautiful and large park, lots to see, multiple places to get something to drink or eat. Part of Bouchout Castle where Empress Charlotte of Mexico used to live can be visited because of the small art exhibition inside. Free train ride around the park runs every hour. Large parking lot across the main entrance.

Very nice place to visit and have a lunch after or waffles in the restaurant. Parking is 7 euros and discount in shop when you pay in the end.

Very beautiful plant collection and pleasant atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the Brussels Capital Region.

We have been fans of these botanic gardens for more than 15 years. A lot of building work/concrete pouring has been taking place in recent years, which discouraged us for the best part of two years but yesterday's visit seems to confirm that there is still plenty to discover for botany lovers.
