We had a breakfast here, coffee was very good. The decoration is very good, vintage and elegant. The place is big and spacious. The restrooms were also decorated very nice with some plants and interesting objects. They were also selling second-hand shirts which were almost a part of the decoration. Recommended.

Such a gorgeous, roomy space to enjoy a coffee. The soup of the day was sensational, as was the gluten free banana bread 💌

Nice decoration but a little too expensive for what they serve you.

Weird place, between a coffee place and a shoes shop. The coffee is good, the food is good also and it's a nice place to work. I really recommend.

Used to love this place but I think that it's lost a bit of its authenticity as a result of the renovations. It's still adorable, but food is too expensive for what you get.

Yelp
This is a hard review to write because I like the concept of Mel, Mich, and Martin. It's a large coffee shop with lots of space if you get there before rush hours, which is rare in Paris. However, it needs to be said - the service is pretty abysmal. Everytime I come the baristas are busy baking or preparing the food, which totally makes sense. But standing for 4 to 5 minutes waiting for your order to be taken is silly. Usually they snap to attention once a line begins to form. Finally, the tall redhead has a bad attitude. Everytime I come in she doesn't greet me with 'bonjour' which is a faux pas here in Paris, supposedly, and twice now I've had to remind her of my order. I waited for 5 minutes -- NO ONE else was waiting for a drink - before returning to the counter to ask for my latte. She was already taking a new order and didn't even acknowledge that she had forgotten. Well played, Mel Mich & Martin. I think what I'll do now is just sit down and wait for someone to passively-aggressively approach me and tell me I need to order something. That'll probably be more efficient.
