Melanda Beach Restaurant (Tsiolos)

It was by chance that we came here. But we didn't regret it. Everything was absolutely delicious. Freshly caught fish and seafood. Plus fresh salad and vegetables. The service was also very good. Added to that is the restaurant's beautiful location. After dinner, we rented two sunbeds next door. We'll definitely be back!

This place is simply awesome. The service on point, the location beautiful and the food is just amazing. Delicious fresh fish, a perfectly fitting wine and side dishes to make the whole package perfect. Worth the bumpy road!

A lovely restaurant right by the beach with very friendly staff. The seafood is excellent and fresh, the fish, octopus, and squid are all outstanding. The beach itself is beautiful, with clear water and comfortable sunbeds with soft cushions, all at a great price (around €2.50 each). Perfect spot for a relaxing day!

Melanda Beach Restaurant is a hidden gem right by the sea. The view of the surroundings and the beach is simply beautiful, and the restaurant is managed by friendly locals who make you feel welcome. The fish is fresh and delicious — and not only the fish, as every dish we tried was excellent. I would definitely go back, both for the amazing food and for the warm, friendly atmosphere.

A family restaurant that takes food seriously. We had grilled prawns as starters and they were gorgeous. Then a self service salad bar with the most amazing green leaves. Finally the grilled sea bass arrived: a dream come true. Huge chunks of juicy lemons with every dish. Grilled to perfection. All washed down with a crispy white wine. We were very lucky with a table on the edge, just next to the beach and the fantastic blue sea. One of those lunches to remember. Happy days on our my first visit to Cyprus.

It used to be one of our favorite places. Now the food is worse than before. A lot of oil, meze is made pan fried instead of being grilled. The place is overcrowded in the evening. Good for visiting, but just for one time.

RECOMMENDED First I will say that my last experience was way better than the previous one. So keep in mind that the quality or service and food of this place is day and number of customers dependent. To the point, the place is infront of the beach 🏖️ and open space. Plenty of parking 🅿️. Small toilets 🚻 outside. If it's raining prepare to get yet ☔to go to the toilet. You can also swim 👙 at the beach. Normal days you can easily find a table but it's advised to have a reservation. I don't think they are always open. Most probably it's seasonal. The atmosphere is casual, with a nice view of the beach but as a place it is not something special. The service was very gooda and attentive. The food 🐟🦐 was tasty and the portions adequate. If you take into consideration what this place is offering the prices are on par with much upper class taverns. You can check my receipt to get an idea. The price could be way higher if we had ordered drinks. Previous time we ordered meze but we were not satisfied. Everything in meze is fried which it's opposite to the quality. So to be satisfied you need to pay close to €40 to €50 per person. Recommended

Magical atmosphere, soulful Greek music, simple yet delicious food, and brilliant service from the kindest waiters. This place serves the best whole grilled halloumi in homemade apricot jam. Easily my favourite tavern in all of Cyprus.
