MELANGEL MYKONOS deserves 5/5 in every concept. We spent 2 days vacation to celebrate our 47th wedding anniversary there. There can be something sweeter for our souls that watch the sunset on the sea from our private terrace, with 2 glasses of sparkling champagne? We enjoyed a lot! In Melangel, we did not talked with employees that needed up-approval. We had Mr. Armen (Grl Mgr) full time available, giving us good advices and recommendations and offering the best for our stay in Mykonos. Melangel is 2 minutes walking from Main St. Safe and quiet place. We expect to come back as soon as we can.

Melangel, Mykonos, Greece VIP Treatment Melangel is absolutely beautiful and the service provided by the owner, Armen and his wife Suzanne, was superb. My family and I received VIP service. Our two rooms were well appointed. Our main room was actually a large suite with sofa, King size bed and full service kitchenette with a mini bar that beats most top hotels I have experienced. Also we had a washer and access via a side door to another private patio. The front patio views to the ocean are beautiful. Great for picture taking. This property sits on the mountain side so views are spectacular. I can write an essay about this property and will definitely visit again. This is Armen's home and he knows who's who. He gave great suggestions for dining and clubbing for our young adults. The night life was wonderful and the shopping too. He or his wife were willing to drive and/ or arrange car service so our young adults were always safe. Mykonos overall is a very friendly and safe island. Wonderful people and scrumptious food.

Armen and Suzanna were the most friendly and accommodating hosts!  Melangel is situated in the most ideal location as it was walking distance to seaside restaurants, shops, nightclubs and “city” center.  With picturesque views of the sea, this room did not disappoint and exceeded our expectations. The modern touches of our room rivaled that of any five star hotel.  It was very comfortable, spacious, clean (think white glove) and organized.  Our hosts were BEYOND accommodating, knowledgeable and this level of service continued even after checkout!  Armen helped us as we continued our trip to other islands (with booking transportation, dinner recommendations and reservations etc).  If you want to feel like royalty or Armens extended family, we highly recommend Melangel!!

Our stay at the Melangel was a wonderful experience. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and if you like cold air, it doesn't get any colder than at the Melangel. Our bedding was extremely comfortable and the room had modern and updated decor. Our sea view was everything we hoped for. We were greeted with a bottle of Perseco and our hosts, Armen and Suzanna, could not have been more gracious. When we left behind an item, Armen ensured it would arrive at our next destination, and it did even though it was a weekend. Suzanna personally brought us to the port when other transportation was not available. If you are going to Mykonos, this IS the place to stay. Centrally located close to shopping, restaurants, and the Old Port.

Armen and his wife were the most amazing hosts! The location of the beautiful hotel was a convenient walking distance to everything. The room was very comfortable and spacious even for a family of 4. The room was very clean and organized and the little kitchenette was a plus. The breakfast each morning was delicious, we ate so very well. Our host was beyond accommodating and helpful and we highly recommend his private tour early in your stay so you know the ins and outs of the village. He even takes the time to take pictures of us while we see some of the famous sites of the island. He took better pictures than any of us!! He will show you all the beautiful places you’ve come to see. Our room had an incredible view, we could see downtown from our back patio and the beautiful sea from our front patio-stunning! We highly recommend Melangel to our friends and family and we will stay here again for sure, we felt like extended family!!!💕 Armen set a very high bar for the rest of our destinations this week. His hospitality is unsurpassable! Thank you so much for having us!!!!

We stayed for 5 nights in Melangel during our honeymoon. This place is absolutely incredible. There was not a single thing I would change about it. Suzanna and Armen are extremely gracious and treat you like family. The absolute definition of going above and beyond. From the very first moment we felt we had people we could rely on for all sorts of things. From helping you book reservations, excursions and overall recommendations. The sunset view is gorgeous as the balcony is facing west. The larger room also has a private backyard that overlooks Mykonos town and the shore, which is a 5 minute walk. The bed was as comfortable as our own mattress back home and the sheets were super soft and luxurious. The larger of the two rooms that they have at Melangel has a Bosche washing machine that did a great job at washing and almost fully drying our clothes. We were doing a 3 week trip and having a washing machine was a god send! The wifi signal was very good and doesn’t time out and needs no logging in. I couldn’t recommend Melangel enough for SO many reasons. The price for value is also a great add-on. We loved staying at Melangel and being Suzanna and Armen’s guests. No second thoughts needed for choosing this place over any other.

Stay here!! The owners, Armen and Suzanna are fantastic hosts, and I have never been more impressed (and I have done a fair amount of traveling in my life). The accommodations are incredible, and the owners are so thoughtful. The room itself is beautiful- the nicest by far out of our stays in Athens, Santorini, and Mykonos- there is a king sized bed with incredible sheets, a kitchenette with 3 mini bars (with prices similar to a local market, not artificially inflated for profit) great breakfast each morning (the table set by Armen himself on the front patio- yes, more than one patio), good wifi, and a great location minutes away from the city center (but still outside so that we did not have to drag suitcases across the cobblestone streets!) They also go out of their way to ensure that we are comfortable, and have been incredibly helpful in booking reservations at popular spots we would otherwise NEVER be able to get into on short notice. When we arrive at restaurants, bars, or clubs and say that our reservation was made by Armen, the hosts/hostesses faces light up, and we go from being simple tourists to special guests who are friends of his family. We have routinely sat at the best tables at restaurants because of his connections- I get the impression that Armen knows everyone here, and that his family is very highly regarded. And, despite having other guests, he and Suzanna make us feel special, and avail themselves for anything we need. Melangel deserves more than 5 stars. It is more than a room, it is an experience, and deserves all the recognition in the world. I will recommend to all of my friends and family if they are ever planning a trip to Greece. Do yourself a favor and visit Armen and Suzanna; you will not regret it!
