Melani Greek Restaurant

New restaurant in the neighbourhood that we wanted to try! It was great - service was very good and the food was excellent. We had the warm mushroom salad and the Haloumi cheese appetizer and veal tenderloin skewers - everything was great and price was reasonable for the food!

My experience at Melani was amazing! The food was delicious, I definitely recommend the beer battered cod, chicken souvlaki and the lamb chops. The vibe is very chic and lively and service was exceptional albeit a little slow at times. If you have space, I would also recommend Athena’s Delight for dessert. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Beautiful resto; great dishes with an expansive, interesting menu; nice vibe with the right kind of playlist (volume can be a touch lower). Shout-out to Sasha for getting us the best table. We will be back soon!

A very good greek restaurant. The ambiance and wait staff were excellent. Decor reminded us of restaurants similar to ones we've seen in Mykonos. We had a small party of 8 come to which they gave us a private room. This was considered a large group and they gave us price fixed menus with very limited options for mains. All the food that came out though was plentiful and well made. It was all served family style but this was one of a few rare restaurants that actually filled the table with food. All the food was flavourful, fresh, and cooked beautifully. The wait staff served us constantly and really took care of the group. Changed plates and cutlery between courses and always kept our drinks full. They did force a 20% gratuity on us, which felt unusually high but every restaurant is already starting to compete with one another on how high they can reach before someone starts to yell. Overall an excellent location that we will be returning to in the future.

Fantastic uptown place! Great ambience, food is delicious and not overpriced and the service is amazing. Very kind and attentive. We had a drink upstairs at the bar while waiting on our table, great place to have a cocktail then dinner in a different room. Atmosphere is lively and upbeat. Had a great time! We will be back soon!
