This is everything we could not dream of in a holiday accommodation and location. The moment we walked in, we felt very welcome. The place is beautiful, very well looked after, very clean and has a nice atmosphere. Kiki and Valassis made all possible to make us feel good and comfortable. We were welcomed with homemade liquor at sunset. Believe me, it is something to remember. Breakfast was delicious with hot drinks, variety of cheeses, eggs, baked goods, Greece yogurt, fruits, cakes … very big variety. We stayed 3 nights and each and every day was a great pleasure. I’m sure we’ll be back

My sister had booked couple of months ago the best apartment which was called “archontariki” for my family little get away! I was so excited as we hadn’t been for holidays all together for a long time! We had to do a small change though adding one more person not long after the first booking but unfortunately the system didn’t take the second new booking as a result of not getting the impressive room which we thought it is being booked! When my sister checked with the host before we go there(thanks god!), the host tried to do everything she could accepting there was a system error and she managed to book another room for us. Unfortunately the room didn’t have the same view as the initial one, having a very small bathroom and overall space, however it was very cute and clean . The host’s team was welcomed, they treated us with a delicious variety of homemade lickers as well as the breakfast tasted nice giving a lot of choices. Lastly another minus was the lack of the internet provision. Even though there was NETFLIX on tv, we couldn’t get connected as there was no WIFI. Overall it was a nice experience however it didn’t meet the excellence which was expected for the room money value.

Visiting Makrinitsa more than 25 years, I am glad I’ve discovered Melanthi Mansion. I consider it to be an authentic Pelian experience. Traditional, folklore rooms with fireplaces, a delicious breakfast and the owners being more than friendly, made our stay, relaxing and stress-free.

Hotel Melanthi is out of a fairytale. The rooms are magical, ornate and traditional stone rooms with wooden trim and filled with such color and detail you barely want to leave (and the water pressure is great!) The breakfast is a truly excellent variety of food, the view and location in the village is perfect. Most of all Kiki and Vlassis care about their guests and making sure they are having a nice time and go out of their way with recommendations and assistance in the area. I think we were invited to sit for a glass of homemade liqueur almost every time we passed by. Definitely staying here was part of what made our time in Pelion feel so special.

My wife and I travel as much as possible and this place ranks in our top 5. Kiki and Vlassis are amazing host. When we arrived in Makrinitsa we were meet by Vlasis who guided us where to park our car, then assisted us with our luggage as he guided us to the Hotel giving us a small tour along the way, when we arrived at Melanthi we were greeted by Kiki with a welcome drink and conversation it was as if we have known Kiki and Vlasis for years.. Amazing! Then Kiki took us on a personal tour of Makrinitsa explaining in detail the history of the area even pointing out the smallest detail that as a tourist you would probably never notice, you can tell she has a true passion for what she does. After returning to the hotel Kiki guided us to our room, upon entering our room everything was very clean and well done, tastefully decorated with modern convenience. The view is amazing you can see clearly to the Sea and beyond. With our stay we had breakfast included and it was quite above our expectations with fresh made varieties of pastries, cheese, meats, fruits, eggs, and breads. I can keep going on about this place but for you to truly understand you must experience it for your self.

The best accomodation i've ever had🤍 our guests were amazing, they're very kind, treat you as a family member, so you can experience a true hospitality. Rooms are very tidy and clean, the view is picturesque. Gazing the sunset while sitting on the terrace and tasting some local tsipouro is highly recommended✨

Memorable stay. very nice place, a bit rustic but very atmospheric; the owner Kiki is a wonderful host, caring, and made us feel most welcome, also guiding us in the village and its history. She drove a long way late in the evening to show us the right way after the lower road was damaged in the heavy rains. Highly recommended hotel!

The property has an easy access in Makrinitsa. The views from several terraces in the hotel are stunning! |Our room (Petrino) had everything we needed for a remarkable stay. |Kiki is the best host ever, also Eleni and Niko are great!|The breakfast was mainly local stuffs, absolutely delicious and simple. |We had a singing night with Niko (playing guitar) Kiki (singing) and some other hosts (doing our best :-), we had such a lovely time. Sad to leave the place but sure that we'll be back. |I highly recommend this lovely place, is absolutely worthy! A gem in Makrinitsa :)
