I am incredibly disappointed in Melanzana. Throughout college, it was a blast to stop by and grab matching mellys, then go out and ski for the day. Anymore, you either need to book an appointment a year in advance buy a sweatshirt, or buy it from a scalper for 3x the original price.
Recently, I saw that they would be offering a limited number of sweatshirts for sale online. It has been years since I have had the opportunity to get a new melly and I thought it would be great to add another one to the collection. The listings online said the next restock date would be Monday morning, January 26th, during business hours. I work the night shift and decided to stay up and see if I could be lucky enough to beat the line and get one. 11am for me is 10am for them and is the start of their business hours. 11am rolls around, nothing. I refreshed many many times and finally the message changed. Now its sometime between 12-3pm. 11am for me is like staying up until 4am and I need to wake up around 3pm on a normal day.
I feel like there is NO consideration for the customer anymore. They could have easily listed a time or a general time range instead of saying oops, never mind, we feel like doing this at a different time. Suckers will just have to wait. It is almost like they are trying to make it as hard as possible for someone to buy something from them.
