Meli Melo Loukoumades

One of my fave spots in Rethymno. Vegan loukoumades, fresh juice and banging coffee is all I need in life.

Lovely place for a coffee. We came here in February when all the shops and cafes are quiet. The latte we had was very nice. The lady serving was very friendly and this is a lovely welcoming cafe with nice tables and chairs and plenty of seating just inside and outside. Will definitely return.

When I say this ice cream is a delight and food for the gods, when it contains Angels hair it really is! I chose the traditional dish based I ice-cream called Kantaifi which is creamy vanilla, almond, honey and Angels hair this is a delightful mix of crunchy and creamy and the angels hair is a bit like a really sweet shredded wheat without the taste of cardboard. The Ice cream Parlour is quite central in the old town right next to the water fountain. The service is cheerful and quick and the staff are really friendly, you can even have a taste of one of the 40 different flavours! There's even a few chairs to sit and relax outside, this was my second visit made better by the fact that the ice cream is made from goats milk so fabulous for those who have issues with milk. Would recommend any day of the week.

The best juice and coffee I've had in my three days in Rethymno, it kept me coming back every day. Nice and shaded in the day and a little bit away from the main local tourist venues. Do it!

Ice was oke. My girlfriend is a complete icecream lover and said it was fine, not super special. Made from goat milk, so you can taste the difference.

This ice cream shop is easy to find as it located right next to the Rimondi fountain. Over two dozen flavors to choose from. Served in either a cup or cone. Rich, strong flavors.

4,20 euros for 2 scoops! I opted for one Banana and one Cheesecake! Delicious! The boyfriend went for Kalipsso (boyfriends description - like a smashed magnum) and Pistachio! His were also very tasty as I stole a little spoonful! Very lovely lady working behind the counter! They have one toilet facility inside!
