Meliá Athens

My wife and son spent 3 nights at the Melia Athens hotel and loved their stay and experience there. Their room was very nice and well appointed. The hotel staff was great - very welcoming, accommodating and very thoughtful. It was my wife's birthday around the time of her stay there, and they presented her a very nice cake. That was so nice of them...thank you for this wonderful gesture! The hotel also offered a great breakfast and has a nice restaurant. They also liked the hotel location, being just a few minutes walk from shopping and tourist attractions. We highly recommend the hotel and will definitely go back the next time we visit Athens. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Good hotel and good location. The rooms were well kitted and modern. The roof top pool was nice but perhaps not best in the hot summer as not enough shades and beds, so get there v early. Service during the day not great by the pool.||We were received at reception by Olga, my star guest employee. What a joy to have for any top hotel. Notihng was a problem for her and always with a lovely smile ||At breakfast Stella was lovely again. Hoteliers should never under estimate the value of good professional staff. Look after them. There were also two Sophias who were fab. |Last point: if one of the 2 lifts breaks down on a Friday night with 7 or 8 floors make sure you have back up engineers on call and not wait until Monday. Operations make note. Lovely stay

The location was just right. Just far enough away to have only hotel traffic. A quick taxi or walk to both squares for shopping and restaurants. The rooms were very modern, but the room's view was lacking (love the view haaa). Beds were really comfy!

Beautiful room, great breakfasts & restaurant, friendly & helpful staff. Location near shopping area. Easy to get Ubers to the port. Had a great time going to some of the beautiful islands. Great rooftop & nighttime view of the acropolis lit up. It was winter but rooftop pool & bar would be fantastic in summer. Very great staff at the reception too. Would stay there again!! So much to see, have to go back!!

Beautiful hotel, rooms were very nice. Everyone at the hotel was polite and it was very clean. We had breakfast and it was very well stocked with fresh items. Dinner on the rooftop was great - our server Georgia was fantastic. All the front desk staff was courteous and super helpful.

Very nice hotel in a good location in Athens. Shops and streets directly around the hotel are a little bit shabby, but it's just a short walk to the main streets of the inner city. Very nice breakfast, good aircondition. Rooms are spacious and clean. Great service, during rush hours sometimes a little bit of waiting at the reception. Very nice pool and bar on the roof!

I only stayed in the Melia Athens for 3 nights. This hotel is located in the heart of Athens. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast with truly delicious buffet! The highlight is the rooftop pool that overlooks the city. The service provided by Sakis was extremely well organized. He has an amazing human touch. Efharisto for the great wine recommendations and service.||Would stay there again!!

Everything was perfect.||Delicious selection for breakfast. Lovely rooftop pool with view of Acropolis. Room was spacious with plenty of storage. Rituals products in bathroom. Reliable housekeeping everyday. Just a few minutes walk from Omonoia square metro, making it the ideal location to explore Athens. ||The standout of this hotel though is the staff - each person we encountered went above and beyond every single day to make our stay special. Thank you!! ||Would 100% recommend, and stay in Melia hotels in future.
