Digna Medina in the Jigger bar made the absolute BEST drinks! We made sure to come to this bar every night we stayed here, it really made our stay perfect. I'd highly recommend getting "The Level" package as it includes a lot more, including premium alcohols (grey goose, etc.) and access to additional areas. The resort itself is so peaceful, never any feeling of being rushed for anything at any point, and everyone is so friendly. I chose this resort over others in the area due to wanting good food and drinks and I was not disappointed!

I recently visited Punta Can Beach Wellness Resort for Adults only, and it was amazing! I enjoyed everything about it. My greatest memory came from the bike tour I did with Miguel and his partner(sorry don't remember his name). It was such a fun and joyous bike tour around all the resorts on the property. I loved it! I will definitely visit the resort again..

Maribel is one of the most hospitable people I have met at the Melia resort! Super friendly, super super kind, smiley and welcoming! She has also been incredibly helpful and an all round joy to be around! You can find her at the Fresco pool bar! She will brighten up your day❤️ we love Maribel!!!!

We were warmly welcomed by the entire staff. The atmosphere is very calm and cozy. Maribel, Julio, and Gustavo were exceptional and very friendly. Jeffry has a very positive and unique energy and organized a very lively Aqua Gym activity. The only downside was that upon arrival, we were allocated a room facing a construction site. It was only after talking to the manager that we were able to be moved to a better-located room.

We came for a 5 days stay and here is the good and the bad. Starting with the good. The people are very welcoming when you first come in, make you feel like home. Your room it's kept Very clean. We booked with Expedia so you get some perks like having your little refrigerator restock everyday with water, soda, milk, and beer. They have activities throughout the day that are fun and interesting. You get a buffet for breakfast, lunch, and snack. Now lets get to the bad. Unfortunately not everything its sunshine and rainbows, first day we got offered coconuts from the trees for free and then the next day the people that clean the trees changed us 10 dollars for 2 coconuts. The breakfast and lunch buffet were decent, we were supposed to have a buffet for dinner but was close everyday for 5 days. They sent us to make reservations to go eat in their restaurants they had in but the selection of food were so limited that we end up eating outside the resort some days. Couldn't relax next to the pool or the beach because every 5 minutes someone would walk by trying to get you to do some extra activities. Got to the point where I needed to be in the water to not be bothered. When I was finally leaving they kept pressuring for a review, our user driver almost left because they didn't want to let us go before we did the review. Overall some people made the stay pleasant because they were their to do their jobs, and some made it uncomfortable because they wanted money for everything. I will always suggest going to a villa so you can really enjoy the culture, the food, and the people. No matter what a resort it's not a representation of the country.

This place is amazing, well worth the price and trip. Paying for access to The Level was well worth it. Our concierge, Nathan was great and took care of everything for us. I wish there were more breakfast and lunch options. But, the people who work here make the experience very personable. Alejandro at the Level Rooftop Bar, Yefry (one of the drivers), Wilmer and Maribel at the Swim Up bar were all great and made us feel welcome.

This has been the best experience for both my wife Heather and I. We have been amazed at the family like atmosphere. From the grounds crew to the top management. Our concierges Oliver & Amable were exceptionally attentive to our every need. The staff at the Quimera restaurant (Miguel, Gabriel. Cesar and the many others, were also very attentive. The food, well let's just say it was the best food we've had in a while. The Drivers of the trams where always ready to get to where we needed to go. The pool staff and servers (Eridanya, Margarita, and Rosa) were always there to offer us drinks. Our bartender at the main lobby Jaun was great. He took the time to share his knowledge of the local drink "Mamajusnas". We can't forget about Rosemary who helped us get information about the Melia membership opportunities. And although we weren't able to do it at this time, they were gracefully understanding. Honestly we will forever remember our stay here at Melia Punta Cana ❤️ Thank you All for such a wonderful experience 🙏🏾

My husband and I spent 5 days 4 nights at Meliá punta Cana beach for vacation August 2025. The resort itself is beautiful and grounds extremely well kept. The pool is huge, the beach area was gorgeous, tons of palm trees for shade, chairs and lounges. The room was spacious and clean. We were paired with a personal concierge, *Gilberto* who really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. He was extremely communicative, punctual and gave us great recommendations. You must have WHATSAPP, as that what everyone uses to text on the island. Gilberto really made us feel like a part of his family. All the rest of the staff was incredibly friendly as well. ||I *highly* recommend you upgrade to “THE LEVEL” which includes a ton of private space and activities. The private restaurant had by far the best food at the resort (a la Cart, breakfast lunch and dinner) it also includes a cool rooftop bar with live music every night. In addition to the general pool, there is a private pool and beach bar for LEVEL members as well as large reserved beach area, and one hour hydrotherapy included each day. It was 100000% worth it. || The reason for the 4 star rating instead of 5 is that general buffets had very average food. They had a lot Of items that were stale, some Desserts were inedible, meats overcooked. Additionally, our AC would Not go lower than 74 F. We even looked at a bunch of other rooms that had even worse AC function. I think this is not a big deal for most people, but if you need it cold to sleep well, this may not be the best resort for you. Lastly, this is a wellness resort and although I didn’t get a chance to do their many classes, they had an amazing gym next to the pool, and the environment was extremely relaxing.|No crazy Bach parties or college kids, which was nice.
