Meliá Punta Cana Beach Wellness Inclusive - Adults only

We had an incredible experience at Melia Punta Cana Wellness Resort with The Level adults-only upgrade. Our concierge, Max, was absolutely phenomenal. He took care of all our dinner reservations, gave us great suggestions for activities like sunset yoga and a sound bath, and checked in with us daily both in person and through text. His service made our stay feel personal and effortless.||The resort staff overall is outstanding. Everyone we interacted with was kind, helpful, and genuinely made the experience special. If it weren’t for the amazing team, the place wouldn’t shine nearly as bright.||The hotel itself is spotless, with 5-star amenities. The beach, the pool, the vibes everything felt exactly like what you’d hope for on a luxury vacation. The all-inclusive drinks were great and always flowing.||One of our personal highlights was the unlimited sushi at The Level rooftop bar from 6 to 9 p.m. was hands down my favorite spot to relax before or after dinner. It’s exclusive to The Level guests and totally worth it.||The only area that fell a little short was the buffet. However, with The Level experience, we highly recommend dining at the restaurants instead. Quimera quickly became our favorite and offered the best overall dining experience.||All in all, the value for what you pay is incredible. Don’t think twice about booking. You’ll leave refreshed, pampered, and already dreaming about your next visit.

I recently visited Punta Can Beach Wellness Resort for Adults only, and it was amazing! I enjoyed everything about it. My greatest memory came from the bike tour I did with Miguel and his partner(sorry don't remember his name). It was such a fun and joyous bike tour around all the resorts on the property. I loved it! I will definitely visit the resort again..

We were warmly welcomed by the entire staff. The atmosphere is very calm and cozy. Maribel, Julio, and Gustavo were exceptional and very friendly. Jeffry has a very positive and unique energy and organized a very lively Aqua Gym activity. The only downside was that upon arrival, we were allocated a room facing a construction site. It was only after talking to the manager that we were able to be moved to a better-located room.

Digna Medina in the Jigger bar made the absolute BEST drinks! We made sure to come to this bar every night we stayed here, it really made our stay perfect. I'd highly recommend getting "The Level" package as it includes a lot more, including premium alcohols (grey goose, etc.) and access to additional areas. The resort itself is so peaceful, never any feeling of being rushed for anything at any point, and everyone is so friendly. I chose this resort over others in the area due to wanting good food and drinks and I was not disappointed!

Ive never written a review before, which i should have for some of the amazing trips. But if you have ever traveled before, do not come here. Its a waste of money. Everything is an up sale. We upgraded twice and the best tequila I could drink was a $15 bottle. I am not going to waste my time explaining all of the complaints because im just ready to be away from here. We did 2 hotels this trip, 4 days at one and 4 at another. The first resort had bad reviews and was so much fun with great food. There was nothing good about this resort. It is very pretty here but that's about it. The service was the worst out of all my years. Food was do able. Spa was okay. Drinks horrible. Service horrible. Just spend your money somewhere else.

Very beautiful hotel. Me and my partner spent 14 days here and felt satisfied with our experience. The evening shows are fab! Very talented performers. Wide variety of food although breakfast can be a little bit cold at times. Julio is your man for booking excursions, very well organised and not over crowded.

This has been the best experience for both my wife Heather and I. We have been amazed at the family like atmosphere. From the grounds crew to the top management. Our concierges Oliver & Amable were exceptionally attentive to our every need. The staff at the Quimera restaurant (Miguel, Gabriel. Cesar and the many others, were also very attentive. The food, well let's just say it was the best food we've had in a while. The Drivers of the trams where always ready to get to where we needed to go. The pool staff and servers (Eridanya, Margarita, and Rosa) were always there to offer us drinks. Our bartender at the main lobby Jaun was great. He took the time to share his knowledge of the local drink "Mamajusnas". We can't forget about Rosemary who helped us get information about the Melia membership opportunities. And although we weren't able to do it at this time, they were gracefully understanding. Honestly we will forever remember our stay here at Melia Punta Cana ❤️ Thank you All for such a wonderful experience 🙏🏾

Subpar experience for a 5 star resort. My biggest issue with this resort is they mention having food accommodations for vegans, but options were scarce at the restaurants and buffets. A guy can only eat beans, rice, and fruit for so many days! None of the items at the buffet are clearly marked as vegan or vegetarian. And possibly the most annoying part is people at the resort ask if you have a dietary restriction but don’t do anything with that info. The drinks at the pool and different bars are clearly watered down, made from cheap concentrates, and well quality liquor. Our room was very outdated with a heavy amount of visible wear. We had a giant cockroach in our room which shouldn’t happen at a 5 star resort. This made me paranoid the whole trip to keep checking for other bugs. Everything at this resort is pretty spread out so you end up waiting for shuttles to get you back and forth. Sometimes the shuttles take a while for pick-up or are super full so you have to wait for the next. If you aren’t very mobile and can’t walk this might be a pain point. Even though we stayed on the adults only side of the resort you could still hear the super loud family section with kids. There’s a schedule of activities you can sign up for like yoga, water aerobics, dancing, or painting. Most of the activities are done in the middle of the resort in front of everyone on the beach and pool. If you aren’t willing to be on display for others this may not be for you. As you can imagine at a large resort like this there’s a lot of trash that accumulates. This is also a place that gets pretty hot in the summer months. Sections of the resort smelled profusely of trash which was a drag. We didn’t have any incidents, but the area around the resort didn’t feel super safe. The minute you start walking the beach people harass you to buy experiences. The prices at the resort spa are very affordable. We did some treatments and can say it’s worth it - good value for the quality. The spa facilities are actually very nice and there’s a lot of amenities you get access to when booking a treatment. I wish I had more time for additional treatments. The lounge area is relaxing and includes hydrotherapy, a relaxation pool, outdoor showers, sauna, and steam rooms. Overall, if some of these drawbacks won’t be an issue for you then I’d say this place is a good value for the cost. For me, I found too many issues with the quality of the food to be a repeat customer.
