The staff here are the reason why people love this place. The customer service is exceptional. The nicest and happiest people I’ve ever met. Mr. Wonder and Mr. Alejandro Soriano are the best bartenders and honestly such great human beings. They made me and my best friend feel so welcome. Jeffrey from the entertainment side is such a kind human being, can dance and really make the people get out of their comfort zone and dance! Maribel is a bartender who was so great with us as well. All the cart service men were great too. Made sure to take us back and forth safely to our rooms and lobby. DJ Carlos played great music and could spin. The cleaning staff work so hard to make the rooms look clean. We appreciate all that they did for us. PLEASE if you come here, pick up after yourself and treat these great people with respect and tip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Marketed as a 5‑star resort, this hotel feels closer to a solid 4. The setting itself is fabulous, with an amazing pool and beach area that truly makes the stay special. The food was consistently excellent, and room service stood out. That said, the rooms are dated and in need of renovation to match the otherwise impressive surroundings. While room service excelled, the general staff service was only average. They were not particularly helpful or proactive (constantly looked for tips in advance off a service), which was disappointing given the high standards expected of a 5‑star hotel. Overall: The location, amenities, and dining make this a wonderful place to visit, but improvements in staff engagement and room updates are needed before it can genuinely live up to its 5‑star label. Special mention: Yara provided us with truly outstanding service. She constantly kept us updated on activities, was always available whenever we needed assistance, and delivered genuine 5‑star care throughout our stay. Her attitude and passion for the hotel are remarkable, and she deserves to be recognised as a face of this resort. Yara embodies the excellence the hotel should strive for. Keren supported her very well to make sure she could represent the resort up to the highest standards.

We had dinner at Yumay for my birthday and it was the best experience. Our server Cristian was amazing. My sister told him the day before it was my birthday and we showed up and the table was decorated with balloons and flowers. They made me feel so special. Every course was delicious and Cristian was so attentive. If you come to Melia Wellness you have to experience this to taste authentic Dominican food. You will not regret it. They even brought me a birthday cake!!

We had an amazing stay at Meliá Punta Cana Beach – Adults Only. Staffs are friendly. There are shuttle system all the time from your room building to the beach (Felix is funny and good driver). Food is amazing. Pool is very clean. Despite the additional cost, the Yumay experience was excellent, and Alejandro was a fantastic server—attentive, friendly, and made our meals truly special. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. YHI Spa was amazing and added so much to our relaxation. We enjoyed our stay so much that we would love to come back again. Highly recommended!

So far, my stay and experience here has been amazing. The inclusivity of wellness is definitely an active part of this resort. The people are kind and lively. The service is top tier. Only thing I would say they need to work on is providing more variety for a vegan diet. They have been willing and ready to accommodate my diet which I am grateful for. Other than that, I honestly love it here & would come back. Thank you Meliá Punta Cana!

Our stay at The Level at Meliá Punta Cana has been nothing short of exceptional, and that is entirely down to the incredible team who go above and beyond every single day. Darison truly made our experience unforgettable. From bringing us fresh fruit to perfectly timed drinks every half hour, his service was impeccable. He is consistently kind, friendly, and attentive, always greeting us with a smile and making sure we were completely looked after. His warmth and care made us feel genuinely valued. Albania at Quimera is an absolute star. She seats us every day and somehow always remembers exactly where we like to sit, which makes such a difference. She is incredibly personal, welcoming, and always in a fantastic mood. Starting each day with her positive energy set the tone for a wonderful experience. A huge thank you as well to Joel on reception, who was outstanding from the moment we arrived. He kindly allowed us to view different room options so we could choose our favourite and explained everything clearly and patiently. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and his professionalism combined with genuine care made us feel instantly at ease. Nicodemo who drives the buggy was very helpful taking us to a different resort twice to get things from the shop and took us all the way back to our room. Very funny and cheerful. This team is the perfect example of what luxury hospitality should be: personal, thoughtful, and delivered with heart. Thank you all for making our stay so special. We cannot wait to return.

Our stay at Melia Punta Cana was great. The service was great especially Delhi and Wilson at the buffet. the carrot cake was fantastic! The entertainment team was also fantastic and kept us busy the whole time. The dinner buffet could use ice cream, and a vegetarian section. The grounds were beautiful! Check in was very slow despite no one being in line but us. Should get rid of towel cards.

Everything about our stay was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt very well taken care of, and the overall service exceeded our expectations. A special highlight was the restaurant: the food quality, atmosphere, and service were outstanding. In particular, Moises deserves special recognition — he truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect at all times. His attention to detail, friendliness, and professionalism made a real difference and turned every meal into a great experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel. We are very much looking forward to coming back.
