Meliá Punta Cana Beach Wellness Inclusive - Adults only

We love Balance bar..place for coffee and other drinks...always nice and helpfull staff, Yafreici Ramirez and all the others as well. Thanks for pleasant moments! We really enjoyed the stay in the resort. Besides moskitos and sometimes problem to find something good in the buffet, it was really great and relaxing. The beach is beautiful and quiet, lot of activities during the day. Friendly staff everywhere..the best place for the evening drink is Jigger bar! We don't reccomend a la carte restautants, poor chioce of food and the quality is much lower than in the buffet, like over cooked seafood.

Overall beautiful and very large resort that met our basic needs for a girls trip. Beach chairs/loungers were plentiful and comfortable. Staff was friendly and overall helpful. If I can sum up the reasons for the average rating is “unorganized” and “inconsistent” service and amenities. Food wasn’t great. It was difficult to get dinner reservations for our group of 7 unless it was 3+ days in the future. So of course if you have a short trip, we were only here for four nights, then this is disappointing. The restaurants seemed to be about 80% full yet reservations were difficult to get and it took entirely too long to receive meals. Two of our meals took 60-90min to receive our food at the Level restaurant. Tram service was inconsistent and could take awhile to factor in extra time if you have a set time to be somewhere. We wanted to try some of the events, like the macrame class, but there was such limited capacity that we could not participate, despite arriving 10 min early. It would be nice to increase the class size or offer it more often. Overall, I enjoyed my trip but would not return to this resort or recommend it to others.

We had the pleasure of dining at Mar de Sal in the Melia Punta Cana Beach on November 20th, and the experience was very good. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The food was perfect — bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and prepared with great attention to detail. A special thanks goes to Jose Marte, who provided great service throughout the evening. He anticipated our needs with ease, was incredibly attentive, and made us feel genuinely cared for. Also a huge thank you to the entire team.

An amazing vacation!! Thank you to all the staff who made our vacation a memorable one! It starts with Sara, who oversees the entire Melia operation, who made certain our group of 32 enjoyed every amenity that Melia Punta Cana Beach has to offer! Ana was instrumental in organizing our rooms and dinners , everyone loved the proximity of our rooms to Quimera and closeness to others in our group. Miguel, Calvin, Franklin , Randolfo, Andy , Moises, along with several other staff members, made every meal time special! Adriana and Carmen at Quimera were always available and friendly - making each and every drink with love! A special thanks to our concierges, Juan and Jose , who made every day pleasant. Taking care of our every need! Our return to Amelia will be soon and we hope the experience will be as memorable!!

I don’t even have to wait to leave this review. Been here not even 20 hours and I love this place! So relaxing and the service is top notch. 👌🏽 Many different foods for different tastes but the focus on quality is excellent. The Level package is what I got and worth it for me. Fish dishes are excellent at the Quimera ❤️ 😍 Fresh from the sea 🌊 not farm raised. Grilled octopus and the Grouper were tender and cooked just right. I had their breakfast also and wow! 🤩 The açaí bowl and tofu/vegetable combo I requested was so delicious. Beautiful beach also. Huge pool and a chill crowd here. The workers are very nice and attentive to your needs. Definitely the best place I can ever remember staying in.

On arrival we were warmly welcomed and check in was fairly smooth. They didn’t have availability with twin beds in the room we had booked but upgraded us to the level which in first impressions seem ok. However the room was damp, we reported this but were made to feel this was out fault for turning the air con off. I was apparent through the rest of out stay it was not an air con issue. We had damp clothes and bedding with water running down the walls. There was mould in the bathroom, on the blinds and walls.|When packing to go home I found that my shoes i travelled in were mouldy and had to be disposed of.||There was one other issue we had which was our concierge which a service included with the level experience. Following the initial reporting of the damp the became uncontactable and were not given a replacement despite mentioning this at the desk in level building, until the final 2 days of our stay (14 night holiday). If we’d of had Jenthry from the begging I doubt we would have had the experience with our room as he was shocked by what he found on our last day. He was really informative of actives, open restaurants, booking restaurants and general resort information.||One of the buggy drivers was amazing too but I have forgotten his name (sorry). Always a smile and happy to see guests. He took us on a tour on our last day of the grounds of the whole complex pointing out all of the wildlife. Incredible.||The food in the restaurant s was amazing.||The spa was lovely too.||The atmosphere and drinks in level roof top bar were fab too.||The room issues wouldn’t stop me returning but personally I would be cautious about a room in this area again.

Had to write a review because I can’t get my trip out of my head, I had the best time! Even though I was on the basic level this resort is nothing short of luxury. From the grounds, rooms and aesthetic, this resort made everything feel lush. Definitely for the grown and sexy crowd, quiet but not boring at all just not a party resort. Everything was great but the staff were amazing! Extra special shout out to Laury at check in, Jean Carlos and Thomas driving the shuttles, Cesar and Maribel at the pool bar, as well as Rebecca and Maria hostesses at the buffets. From the minute I arrived they all were super kind and attentive since I was alone. ONLY draw back is that I went in July during seaweed season, but even then I was still able to enjoy the beach early morning after they cleaned. I can only imagine how much more you can enjoy with their Level experience, so I will definitely return in the future.

Currently staying here on the level. Yes there are great things about this hotel. Beautiful resort, specials rooms, lovely beach. Good range of bars and restaurants. But all of this is over shadowed but a few very bad experiences here. First off my husband is allergic to nuts and seafood. He has been given both while here. Second we can never get a sun lounger by the pool (have now been here for 5 days) all taken by 8:30 in the morning. Today we haven't been able to get a space at the pool or beach and they haven't even got any towels left for us to use. Breakfast this morning took over 40 minutes to get to us at quimera, by this time is was cold and missing items we had ordered. It's enough to put us off using a melia resort again. We've stayed in much nicer places for less, where you can actually enjoying sitting in the sun, without having to fight for a sun lounger or a towel.
