Meliá Santiago de Cuba

First time staying in Santiago de Cuba Melia, a wonderful experience, my special thanks to Milagros Miguel reservations coordinator and Leticia Aguilera Rosales Customer Service and Quality Control, their unconditional support was essential during my stay, as well as the courtesy and well train personal. Facility, rooms and common area very clean and organized, breakfast was a buffet with all the essentials for a well complete service and satisfaction, one more time my most sincere congratulations to the staff of Santiago de Cuba Melia, a job well done, my return will be soon,||Thank you| |Carlos Alvarez|May 2025

Exceptional customer service. From the moment I arrived, I felt very welcomed by the friendly staff at the Melia Santiago. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained. I especially appreciated the friendliness of the concierge and front desk. Breakfast was delicious, and the hotel facilities, such as the pool, were in perfect condition. "We would definitely stay here again!"

Friendly and helpful staff. The beds are very comfortable and well maintained. The welcoming received from staff, including the camarera, was incredibly, making my stay there truly enjoyable.

It was a good experience. I just took a cup of coffee with my wife in the lobby bar Daiquiri and the coffee was quite good. The service, I mean, waiters (Leticia, Yuleidis and Daniela) are so good doing their job, … I recommend to visit this place…

We love the Melia. The staff are fabulous and kind. The rooms are pretty and comfortable. The hotel itself is lovely with a really big, well appointed pool and a beautiful lobby where you can drinks or afternoon coffee. We stay in the hotel, and we also pay for day passes when we are not staying there, and use the day pass to swim in the pool and have lunch.

I had a wonderful experience at he buffet with Leanne Rodriguez and her coworkers. Would highly recommend . Don’t miss out when visiting.

From the reception and administration staff to the ninth floor, including housekeeping & room service, every department at the Melia Santiago Hotel offers excellent and impeccable service, especially early in the morning during breakfast and dinner.|In the evening, there's always time to enjoy a special cappuccino prepared by the friendly ladies during a relaxing hour in the hotel lobby, in a peaceful and safe Caribbean atmosphere.

You cannot call this a 5 star hotel. The service is poor. Cleaning doesn't do her job well. The workers aren't helpful or doesn't know anything about the rule. Whatever you do pay with Cuban pesos. The conversion rate is low. For example is you pay for an espresso in Euro's (or dollars) it's €2. If you pay with pesos it's 240 pesos (€0,65).
