Meliá Sierra Nevada

Stayed in the hotel for 11 days in March/April 2025 and my stay was wonderful. The staff are lovely, especially Etna on reception, very helpful lady. Sierra Nevada is beautiful place and so is this hotel. The spa/pool is a real treat, we used it a few times. We chose bed and breakfast, the breakfast options are vast and very tasty. We have booked again for next year with full board this time, can’t wait.

Our first time in Sierra nevada and in this hotel. The area is very nice, lots of bars and restaurants, beautiful views, great sking, fantastic. |This hotel is absolutely stunning! It's perfectly located just a short walk to the lifts, bars and restaurants on the doorstep, and it's own lovely bars and restaurants on site. It also benefits from underground parking (this is charged), and a complimentary ski locker. The rooms are absolutely beautiful. Spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The food at the buffet breakfast was delicious and incredibly fresh with so much range to please everyone. The staff are all lovely.. immaculate and efficient. I honestly can't say how pleased we were with this hotel and would highly recommend it. The manager Carlos was a huge help to us when we left, and even bought us valentines day drinks. What a wonderful hotel through and through.

We had an amazing stay at the Meliá in Sierra Nevada. This post is dedicated to all the staff members that made our stay extra special. Big thank you to Pablo, Emilio and especially Monica. For families who are looking to have a great ski trip with young kids, this the place to go! The kid’s club was amazing and our children were always looking forward to all the activities they offer. We will definitely come again 😊.

Location of the hotel is amazing 🤩 ||Sierra Nevada was incredible but quite expensive as a resort town almost like the Aspen of Spain 🇪🇸 ||The Hotel itself had good facilities, the ski lockers were a nice touch. Restaurant was really good with friendly staff and really good food. Some aspects were a little repetitive but we were there for 10 days. Sports room was frustrating as every game of pool cost 3 euros as well as air hockey and games everything was an extra charge. Bar staff was really pleasant and evening entertainment really nice.||Front office staff were terrible, from when we arrived they made it feel like they were doing us a favour. For and international hotel to have staff with such poor English was concerning. We had booked a family room which was 40 euro cheaper than two doubles, we were put into a standard room with a double bed sleeper couch with 2 teenage boys and a tiny cupboard. Honestly feel ridiculously ripped off as I would gladly have paid 10% more for two rooms. Really horrible experience and honestly felt like a cruise cabin in size. ||Would never ever recommend this hotel based on that, in all honesty felt cheated and ripped off. 100 % deceitful and genuinely ruined an amazing location, little town and experience. ||After 45 countries and 100’s of hotels and countless experiences can safely say most disappointing room I have ever stayed in after paying for a family room. ||Pool was a good wind down after a day on the slopes but frustrating to always have a swimming cap, but if that’s health & hygiene fully understand just remember to bring your flip flops too.||Nice Gym and housekeeping staff are better at English than the front office, also way friendlier and more helpful

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Meliá Sierra Nevada, celebrating both our anniversary and Valentine’s Day as a family of three. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed, and the service throughout our stay was outstanding. The hotel itself is beautiful, perfectly located for skiing, and offers everything needed for a comfortable and memorable experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to celebrate such special moments. A special thanks to Pablo, Emilio, Carol, Irene, and Mónica for going above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable. Your kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail truly made a difference, we felt taken care of at every step. Breakfast is amazing, freshly cooked with enough choice and never too crowded. We also had dinner there a couple of times and it was just as amazing. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Meliá Sierra Nevada to anyone looking for an unforgettable ski getaway!

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, it was way too noisy. There were lots and lots of kids running around, making it hard to relax. On top of that, housekeeping wasn’t up to standard—the bathroom was still dirty when I checked in. However, I will say that the employees were very nice and welcoming, which was the best part of my stay. If you’re looking for a quiet and clean place, this might not be the best option. It also stated on the website that the lockers for skiing and snowboarding equipment were heated, which was not true as my gloves were cold and wet the next morning.

Monica, Pablo, Emilio, Irene and Carol are 5 star staff, especially with the kids. Super amusing and extremely kind and friendly with the kids. My experience has taught me that hotels can be breathtaking but without people like these 5, they’re worthless.

We recently stayed at the Melia Hotel and had an amazing experience! After a long day of skiing, the spa was a fantastic way to unwind and relax. My child thoroughly enjoyed the Kids Club, and the staff there were absolutely wonderful and attentive. Our room was comfortable and met all our expectations, and the food selection was impressive with a variety of delicious options. We will definitely be returning for another memorable stay!
