Upon first glance, the grounds, architecture and surroundings are utterly beautiful and this upheld throughout the entire stay. On arrival we were greeted with a smile and a helping hand with our luggage, reception alone is aesthetically pleasing and a relaxed atmosphere although it can get rather busy especially when guests arrive in big groups so you can be waiting a while to check in/out. Most staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Transfer from Alicante airport was a relatively quick journey although if you have a morning flight, arriving at midday we could not check in to our room until 4pm but use of facilities was available. The room was rather basic but clean and necessities were given, mini bar and room service available at additional costs. Bare in mind, the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything surrounding you in your room (moving furniture, chatting outside etc which does occur late at night). All inclusive is a good but confusing service, the breakfast buffet is the best option by far - lunch and dinner on the other hand are where it gets confusing and communication lacks (which could use improvement). Very traditional mediterranean food served at dinner. Conferences are held rather often and most definitely prioritised over holiday guests. Travelling outside of the hotel, going to Old Town/Poniente beach via taxi is a €20 round trip (€10 each way) and very easy to navigate. Value for money is a personal experience, for me, other than the hotel's looks it did not have a luxurious feel which you would expect for the price. None the less it was an incredible experience and a (mostly) relaxing time away that i would absolutely recommend.

Location was very close to the parks. Good if you have a car. |Nice looking resort with lovely views. However the top restaurant near reception is slow and understaffed. The breakfast buffet the lady who cooks the eggs has never smiled once not very friendly or welcoming. We was told upon check in we can’t use certain Resturant’s from the Level as that is separate hotel the Resturants we could use only opened from 8pm for dinner travelling with our toddler is not ideal having dinner so late so our only option was the Mexican on the beach, you can only have that so many times. Wished we knew all of this before booking the hotel as we wouldn’t have booked it prior. ||The rooms are nice but dated. Beds are comfy however we hardly got no sleep from the 4 days of our trip. All you hear all night is people coming in and out of their rooms shouting, banging doors and dragging furniture. Early hours in the morning until late night you hear the trolleys from cleaners and staff as well as their robot Hoover that goes round the corridors. So the walls and doors are paper thin you hear EVERYTHING. ||Safe to say we will not be back and we need another break to get over this very stressful and restless holiday.

Absolutely have loved using the spa this week and the staff are so helpful. Definitely a must if you want to relax and try out the water circuit too, fantastic. 5 stars from me 😀 The hotel was lovely and the staff fantastic. I think some of the wording needs to be clearer on what is included in your package as we found out the hard way and ended up being charged for what we thought was included. Saying that I will be back as I do really like the hotel. Just more aware now 😀

A remote hotel which is dominated by golfing and business conventions / meetings. Incredibly badly managed, poorly designed in layout, aggressively priced due to location and entirely set up for fleecing guests without a car or means to get supplies locally. Please be aware there is nothing nearby and u are a captive audience. Staff seem very customer wiery and fed up. I suspect due to the constant arrival of all male groups and the demands that come with managing the attached golf course custom. The golf course are average, overplayed and slow. Shop is overpriced and the staff indignant to the point of rudeness. I found the hotel reception to be unhelpful and incredibly unreliable. I had to ask for my room amenities (bathroom stuff) to be replenish over and over again. It took 3 days. The on site shop is laughable, you cannot buy water or anywhere on site other than a very small bottle from the bar to ensure you use the crazy priced mini bar. Without a car you are totally at their high priced mercy so come prepped or preferably with a car but Im sure they've covered that with a high cost to park per day. Not a fan. Rooms are spacious, beds are pretty good but I will not use Melia again. Companies that want to extort their client base should fail.

Really nice hotel. Lovely and clean. It has a feel of a small town. The staff were all really helpful. Rooms were lovely and clean.|We went all inclusive with jet 2.|I have been on many all inclusive holidays, this does not include the snacks or drinks in the mimi bar, so not quite all inclusive. |That said. It was a thoroughly enjoyable holiday.|Its about a 15min ride in a taxi to Benidorm. You look down on it from the hills above.

A great place to stay, the hotel is more like an old town village with a lovely square to sit and enjoy your beer/wine/ food in the warm Spanish evening. The pools are massive and the golf courses are to a very high standard. It’s also only a 10 minute journey to Benidorm should you wish to experience the opposite end of the scale.

This is the second time we have stayed here and the good bits are the design of the hotel, the views and the pools. The staff are generally friendly and pleasant. |Remembering this is an expensive hotel I’d say the rooms are good but the lack of replacement water is not great. For a family of 4 you should get free replacement water each day. The suite has a comfy bed but the sofa bed is small for kids who are older than 5 or 6. Rooms seemed well soundproofed.|The food in each restaurant is generally ok. The buffet breakfast is a sensory overload with huge volumes of people but once you navigate the environment the food is good enough. Pricing wise the a la Carter places are good value for money when coming from the UK and the staff were attentive but they could do with more colleagues to help them!|Entertainment wise, the staff all have lots of enthusiasm but compared to last year there was a real lack of attempt to communicate at all in English which meant the non Spanish speaking kids can feel disconnected with the kids club activities. However, the kids club staff were all very genuine and friendly.|The pools were good but the beach area was full of discarded cups and left over food. Not cleaned for the the 3 hours we were there. The Mexican restaurant kiosk was a good option but being told to come back in 20 minutes to order food rather than take a food order and just deal with them in order was poor form and created a degree of chaos|It is a real contrast from Benidorm Town and we recognise it is for 90% Spanish visitors but whilst we had no issues with communication 10% of the shows and the kids club could have given a little bit more for intentional travellers.

The hotel has been cleverly and tastefully designed, lots of nice features. Our room was basic, clean and spacious enough, nice bathroom toiletries. First three days the place felt dead, almost too quiet, then a convention came and all changed, hundreds of them. No tables at breakfast, their needs seem to take priority over us who paid for all inclusive. No room service on the 11th. Asked twice for drinking water to swallow medication with (I have kidney disease) not going to pay €3.50 for water from mini bar. No water arrived until I got in touch with Tui but this only happened for two days, no water arrived yesterday. No ice cream yesterday. No pool towels until 11am. No seats at breakfast due to convention and 80% of food eaten. Got excited last night at buffet when I saw Asian noodles- they were cold. Funnily enough I hate complaining but I need to do an honest review. |All staff were friendly and polite, pools are lovely and clean. The sad thing is I wouldn’t come back nor recommend. This basic water issue in a region where tap water drinking isn’t encouraged is a real major issue. Keeping hydrated and having water in order to swallow tablets with at bed surely is a human right? 30 years I’ve been travelling and this is the first time I haven’t received basic bottle drinking water in the room. All inclusive isn’t worth it here, no coffee making facilities in room, the buffet choices are few and most of the restaurants are closed all the time. I feel this hotel could do so much better with just some minor tweaks.

Yelp
The rooms are large and clean, with beautiful views of the Mediterranean, and the staff are friendly and nice. That's as far as the good news goes. The food is awful. Overcooked and poor quality. It seemed more appropriate for a high school cafeteria than a supposedly four star hotel. The golf course is an absolute disaster. While the course itself is OK (nothing special beyond the views), this facility is completely clueless in terms of management. There is no starter; it's a free-for-all at the first tee. They book times 5 minutes apart for foursomes that take 25 minutes to play a hole. There is no marshaling and no grouping by handicap. I played the first two holes in one hour, waiting on every shot, and then hit the first par three where there were two groups waiting on the tee and one approaching the green. I could see the fourth hole with THREE groups between tee and green. Turned around and made the long walk back to the clubhouse. Wasted 100 euro and my afternoon. It's a shame, because with a properly managed course and decent food service manager this place could be pretty nice.

Yelp
Can I convince you to go here? I probably could and maybe you should before it closes. Some brilliant architecture and grand designs but fundamentally flawed because it is way too MASSIVE and you could, like me, end up getting upgraded to a Suite, which was MASSIVE but, you will face a ten minute yomp just to get back to the facilities which are at the reception. At the rear of my suite was a MASSIVE pool and I had it to myself every morning, you beaut'. It would seem I may have already convinced you and, when I tell you my stay here was cheap as chips and included two rounds of Golf on 2 manicured, gorgeous courses and the breakfast was superb then you may have been swayed ... Ready for the rub? This is a resort that would easily sit on the Vegas strip but we ain't in Vegas. You will be situated a 20EUR taxi ride from town and, even though the bar is empty, you will wait for your drink like FOREVER and then some rude arse server with a crap attitude will treat you like you just took a shit in his hat. Mañana is the keyword. Final note, this place has more pools than a swimming pool warehouse but they are mostly full of detritus that you would not want to brush up against. Shame. I give it 2* purely for the architecture and Golf and MASSIVE scale of the place. Did I mention how big it was? Yep, It's MASSIVE !!
