Yes, you do have the feeling this little hotel had a splendid past; however, it is still a charming little hotel. Location is great, quite but walking distance from the centre and the lovely tavernas on the harbour. At the back there are trees. Rooms have everything you will need and more. It may look a bit tired, but rooms are superclean. The best is the terrace, amazing view during the day and the night. There are tables and sunchairs, do not miss it. The owner has been a great host. Recommended.

A truly beautiful and homely place. Recently renovated and modern. Clean, hygienic and well kept. Super hospitable people with an amazing view and vibe. And the bonus of it being so close the port and basically everything else. Definately worth a visit and can't wait to go again!

This was the second time for me in this hotel and I will be back again. Super friendly owners who welcome you with a smile, amazing location (quiet street in the centre) and the rooms are basic but clean and neat. The roof terrace is shared and has a beautiful sea view towards Ag. Effimia and chairs to relax with a drink (or do some work on the computer as I did). The hotel has a vintage charm which I absolutely love, it feels like going back to the “old good Greek years”.

This was a nice hotel for our 3 night stay, the a/c and fan kept us cool and the beds were perfect. We had a nice balcony to enjoy and also the upstairs terrace has been newly renovated so that was really nice. The owner was very nice and helpful.

Charming hotel, and wonderful helpful hosting from Eleni. We sat on the roof terrace to watch the sea and slept well in the cool rooms. We will be back.

Very enjoyable stay at this basic but very clean hotel. Our plane was diverted to Athens as we had bad weather and couldn't land on Kefalonia initially so I texted the hotel and and got a response within minutes. Eleni, who runs the hotel, said no problem and she'd wait for me. Got to the the hotel at one in the morning instead of nine o'clock and was met with a smile and a welcome. Great location to walk into Sami for all it's bars and restaurants. Would stay again. Thanks Eleni.

Great location for the por although not as close as booking.com suggests. Would highly recommend for an overnight stop. Very clean rooms and thoughtful hosts. We didn't have breakfast but the room looked lovely. Would definitely stay again if taking a ferry from Sami.

Old hotel that feels like something from the 1970’s.|Location good 2 min walk to main area.|The room was clean but small and bed very hard. Bathroom small and old. Balcony okay with view.|No food or breakfast offered.|I was charged too much, a high price even after negotiating down by a third.|When touring the island over 2 weeks I have stayed in wonderful places. |I cannot recommend this hotel at even the reduced price I paid.
