Mellow Mushroom Augusta

Very clean establishment, our server was attentive giving a " your taken care of vibe". Food was a little slow but well worth the wait. Every order made fresh specific to each order. Full bar menu is available.

Stopped in for some of our favorite Pepperoni/Bacon Pizza and Holy Shitocki pizza, pretzel bites a couple of adult beverages that we had never tried and a couple of warm cookies. The staff was great, food was delicious, the Snafu was so unique that we looked up where it was made and how can you go wrong with warm cookies? Overall, a great experience!

After getting recommended to go to Mellow Mushroom, I finally went, but it didn’t live up to the hype. With a cozy interior and atmosphere, this is a great place to take friends and family. But if some of those friends and family are pizza enthusiasts like me, don’t take them here. While the atmosphere was welcoming, the pizza wasn’t the best quality. On the mushroom pizza with four different types of mushrooms, there was a bit too much aioli. For the pesto and tomato pizza, there was too much sauce, and the pizza was so heavy everything was slipping off. Ultimately, it’s a nice place to take friends, but not the best pizza you can get.

Amazing food, loved the fact that they have outside dining and indoor. Very nice and clean, service was really slow, even though others were being helped. But appetizers came out about 5 mins before the food, but overall great experience.

Went to this place after a few recommendations, unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. I ordered the super pepp, and my wife ordered the same thing, but gluten free. We are fine waiting for food, especially if it’s done well. Unfortunately we waited almost an hour for “okay” pizza. The pizza was overly greasy and was nothing special. Dough was a little heavy, but baked well. My wife’s pizza was also missing half the toppings (I’m not sure if they season the honey or ricotta with anything that has gluten), but the whole reason she ordered this was for the hot honey. All things considered; price, wait, and quality, I think they missed the mark.

Mellow Mushroom Augusta is a straightforward, no-frills spot that delivers solid food, especially for takeout. We tried the Piazza (Great White), which was really good, though the burger we ordered left a bit to be desired. The staff were friendly, and the restaurant seemed clean when we stopped by for pickup. One small issue—some of the sauces we paid extra for were forgotten, which was a bit frustrating, but the staff handled it politely when we brought it up. Overall, it’s a reliable choice for casual takeout, particularly if you’re in the mood for pizza. Not everything was perfect, but the food and service make it worth a stop.

Everything about this place was amazing. Great seating in a glassed in area, food was amazing and waitress was so friendly. Holy Shitake pizza was 👌 also they had a small selection of mocktails that were delicious and unique.

My wife and I visited your this location 2/15 while in town for a comedy show. Thank you for being open on a Sunday! We got two sodas, ten wings, and a medium supp pep. The server did take our order and dropped the food off, that was a far as "service" went. We ate half a wing each and pushed to the end of the table to never be asked about again. Whoever made our pizza is a Superstar, the pizza should have been used for a photo opportunity, but it tasted even better.

Back at Mellow again! As always great pizza and customer service. I like how I can get a small and share - half veggies slices for me and Italian sausage slices with jalapeños for my friend. Our drinks Frozen lemonade with a splash of peach flavoring.

Pizza is great, but picking up is a big problem. No parking, no curbside delivery. Overall bad location for carry out.

No one ever said to come to Augusta for the great local pizza, but Mellow Mushroom is a reliable chain option. Offering extensive options for special diets, the flavors revolve around salt and garlic. This corner location is new for them and is substantial with an open kitchen and an active floor. Our server was new, but took care of everything we needed. Ordering a spinach salad resulted in a heavy dish with a lot of cheese and nuts; it did go well with the apple vinaigrette. A medium pizza with peppers and the somewhat obligatory mushrooms delivered a good flavor balance and was tough to finish for two on top of two side salads. I didn't get the tempeh this time, but I've had it before and it's surprisingly good on pizza. This is one of the finite number of downtown options that is really worthwhile.

We are here on a Monday night and there was no wait to be seated. We started off by ordering our drinks and pretzel bites. The new Disco peach cocktail was surprisingly good. The pretzel bites arrived fresh and delicious. We also ordered a medium funky q chicken pizza. It wasn't too busy, with it being a Monday evening and we were able to enjoy our conversation without any trouble hearing one another. We love the new location and will definitely be back again!

This new mellow mushroom is amazing! The decor is amazing and I love the Alice in wonderland theme they have at every location. This location is Alice in wonderland themed but has a touch of James brown to relate more to the town. The hosts and the waiters/waitresses are very nice and helpful with the menu. I have a goal to try a different pizza each time I go to a mellow mushroom and so far I have tried these pizzas: Mighty meaty : 10/10 GREAT GO TO Thai dye pie: 9/10 a hint of spice and sweet it is amazing! Funky q chicken: 8/10 great if you love bbq and chicken Merry prankster: 9/10 it's like a supreme pizza! Pacific rim: 8/10 deliciously sweet and savory For the appetizers : The pretzel bites: 10/10 are so amazing!!! Bruschetta: 9/10 very good , comes with 4 pieces Pretzels: 8/10 very good but not better than the bites IMO Drinks: Peach buzz (alcoholic): 7/10 may or may not get again Sunset in paradise (alcoholic): 7/10 on the fence but it was good , I really like the coconut rim Sangria (alcoholic) white and red: 1/10 personally would not get again

This place stays packed. I was starting to think they're was something different about this location vs others I have been to. Unfortunately that was not the case lol. Pretty standard MM here. Came here for lunch. I got the loaded potato pizza and mighty meaty pizza, half and half. Both were good. No problem with the food. Service was very slow. Slow to get food and drink refills.

This was my fist time at this location. It wasn't hard to find, it is downtown so you will have to find parking. Soon as we walked in we was greeted by a friendly smile and amazing colors and wall art. I love the atmosphere and how clean everything was including the bathrooms. They have a small outdoor table and chairs and a full bar inside Food was great, I had the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer (wish more bred came with it), my boyfriend got the magic mushroom soup and it was delicious . We kept our pizza simple and got pepperoni . Drinks were great as well (I unfortunately can't remember what I had ) lol. I will definitely come back to this location. It was an overall great experience. Our server was great as well.

We enjoyed the live music. Pizza with the curry was very delicious. Someone else paid so I'm not sure if prices were reasonable. Our waitress was very nice and checked on us many times.

I have been to many mellow mushrooms, and I always love them, but it was to my surprise that I found out you could actually do mellow mushroom to go! I was thrilled with the quality of the pizza, and it definitely was served fresh. I found it a really great alternative to other fast food on a night out if you are craving pizza! We decided to do pick up to go, our order was ready on time, and was definitely made exactly as we asked it. I will definitely be coming back here on many nights out!

The definition of mid. Pizza was alright. Appetizers were alright. Had it delivered so I can't say nothing regarding sanitation, but didn't take long for it to deliver. I'd say to just go somewhere else though.

We loved it, the pretzel bites with the beer cheese were great. The garlic bread was good but not quite my thing. We also got the cheese pizza, a Pepperoni and olive and a Pacific Rim pizza. We got 2 mediums for 2 adults and a small for kids to share, but they could have done with 2 smalls for the adults. Also got the strawberry lemon Limeade and it was nice and tart. And the atmosphere is psychedelic but also nice and chic feeling. So fun!

If you like mushrooms you must try their Holy Shiitake pizza. This flavor is just absolutely amazing. From the sauce to the green onions, everything is so good. It's kinda greasy though but I don't mind. That's just pizza. One medium pizza is a good size for two small people to split, and one large pizza is almost enough for three small people but you might need to get an appetizer. This place is on the pricier side for pizza but I think it is worth it for this flavor alone. Their pizza dough bites are yummy too. Solid choice for dinner. Not for my lunch break though since it always takes time for the pizza to come out.

I ordered delivery last night and paid $80 for 2 pizzas and a salad. I never received my delivery. They were of no help and acted as if that was my problem not there's! I will never order from here again!

Groovy vibes!!! We love coming here for a pitcher and a pizza. The service is always so friendly even if it gets backed up and busy. Mellow is an augusta staple!! Especially at the new location, it is so walkable to other bars downtown. The remodel is so great and it's nice to see new businesses in augusta opening up. Love Mellow Augusta!!

price gouging and terrible service to the public during a crisis. I paid $100 for 3 medium pizzas which is ridiculous and just not right

This was my first time eating at any of their locations. Yeah, so the place is trendy with a hippy/stoner theme.... and expensive!! Dining amongst us were people from all generations. A few people at the bar area, but most at tables. We started with the pretzel bites and baked wings. Apparently you can now make any sort of dough balls and call them pretzels. While tasty along with their beer cheese dip, there was nothing pretzel about them. The wings were tiny, nicely seasoned but a little on the dry side. We ordered a large 8 slice pizza, half Funky-Q-Chicken and half House Special. The crust was really fluffy and tasted like it was a wheat flour rather than a white flour base. The dough and crust were on the chewy side, much like eating a piece of sourdough bread. Much too chewy for a pizza. It was obviously the same dough that the so-called pretzel bites were made from. Two apps, a shared pizza and 1 fountain drink (the other person with me had a water).... all not that memorable. The cost??? $60 plus a $15 tip. Our server, Sabin was really upbeat, friendly, and knowledgeable of the menu items. I added an extra star just for the great service she provided. Overall, the place has a good vibe. I just didn't care for the food in general. That's just my honest review. Growing up in Brooklyn, I may be more critical of pizza in general. Apparently many others enjoy their food. So give them a try. Would love to read reviews on their other menu items.

This is the first time I've been to Mellow Mushroom on Broad St. since they moved to their new location. It's definitely a smaller place, which naturally leads to more of a wait on Friday nights due to how popular it is. But the quality of the pizza has not changed at all despite the new location. My friends and I got there around 4:30, and we were seated right away as a party of 7. We ordered two large pizzas: the Happy Prankster and the Holy Shiitake. We also ordered 20 oven baked wings: 10 Thai chili sauce, and 10 hot sauce. All of the food was yummy, and two slices of pizza with 2-3 wings per person was a very filling meal. Something that's interesting about the menu here is that they have a section labeled "local to your mellow" which I guess are menu items that can't be found throughout all chain locations. I didn't try anything this time, but maybe I will next time I'm here. Which will probably be soon. Love me a mellow mushroom for a good time with friends after a rough week.

Is this still my spot for the #1 hunger stopper in the CSRA (steak and cheese calzone)? Yes. Do they still have some of the tastiest pies you'll ever slice up? Oh yeah. Are they still ready and waiting on the corner of 12th and Broad Street? Wellll. Here's the thing. They moved, but not far. Head on down Broad Street and on the corner of 11th and Broad (across from the Metro and Whiskey Bar Kitchen) you'll find them at their new location. It's new and it is nice! A beautiful mural as you walk in, art on other walls, a bar in the center, and new seating that is inside but with an outside ambiance (when the bay door windows are up). The team is friendly as always and the beer is as cold as the heart of winter. I love their new spot and it seems like they are seeing a growth in foot traffic, as I see almost a full house any time I walk by. You can still order online for pickup, but now there is a designated pick up entrance on the 11th Street side of the building (and designated parking). They also still have outdoor seating, but be aware that it is now all in the shade (which is great in the warmer months). So whether it's been years or weeks, now is always a good time to visit the downtown location. Fun, food, and full (which is what you'll be upon leaving).

It took a couple of minutes to get noticed when we came in, but that's fine. We got the cheese bread which was very yummy and my daughter loved. I got the whole wings with mild sauce and when the arrived they were cold. Got brought a new batch and these were nice and hot. Only thing was they lacked any flavor. That was disappointing but ate them with my blue cheese. Lastly ordered a big chocolate chip cookie which was warmed up and was delicious. My daughter ate the whole thing.

Ordered through a delivery service. No complaints with that. But my husband's mighty meaty thin crust pizza was not only burnt, but it had so little sauce that what he had was awful and overly cooked. Really disappointed.

Excellent location. Parking on street Wonderful pizza crust,delicious flavor My husband and I halfed a 14" he had meat and I had white. It's really fabulous. Very busy but efficient staff make it pleasant. 7 TV screens for sporting events Highly recommend.

On a recent trip to Augusta, I had the good fortune of enjoying a meal delivery from Mellow Mushroom. I was working the evening away in my hotel room when I perused delivery options. I was hoping for a fresh and fab salad and when I spied the greens section of Mellow Mushroom's menu and knew I found my spot! I ordered their greek salad and was pleased with the entire experience. The salad came and was crisply fresh. The salad dressing was included on the side so that the veggies stayed crisp. It was a bed of romaine topped with shredded carrots, red cabbage, onions, cucumbers, green peppers, mushrooms, kalamata olives, roma tomatoes, peppercinis, and a generous sprinkling of sheep's milk feta cheese. I also opted to add their roasted chicken to the salad. They kindly included that wrapped in foil so that it was still warm when I added it to my salad (lovely!). On my next visit, I'll have to give a dine-in experience a try! Get to it!

Got it delivered and it was pretty good for my first time trying it. Would love to try it in person to get a better experience.

The pizza here is delicious. Love the atmosphere, and the service is great even though it's busy. They had live music and a great drink selection too. That holy shiitake pizza is to die for.

Had the most amazing lunch with my family!! Mellow Mushroom is located in the heart of Downtown Augusta! New location from my understanding. We ordered so much stuff, lol I guess thats what hungry gets you into. Cloud 9 wings, pretzel bites with cheese, salads, pizza, steak and cheese hoagie and more wings mom wanted teriyaki. I will most definitely be back SHELBY was the BEST!!! Thanks MM!!

Like the new location still in downtown Augusta. Love that they offer vegan/ vegetarian options and the ambiance is whimsical and colorful. A great place to hang with family and friends.

Tip: order pizza for dine-in for faster service. For lunch, I went with my coworkers for some pizza in downtown Augusta. I usually don't like to get pizza for lunch because the wait time could be very long. From my experience, one Mellow Mushroom can be better than another. This downtown Augusta location was unfortunately the latter. The pizza I had felt had been sitting for a while. The bread was lukewarm and the dough felt doughy. The pizza did not live up to my expectations, cause after the first bite, I did not get the sensation of fresh from the oven feeling. I was disappointed in their topping. This could have just been my pizza, but my coworkers loved their meat lovers' pizza. Overall I would be back for the lunchtime crowd and trivia night, the atmosphere is fun and festive. The food was a typical pizza joint (pun intended).

Love it for a thousand years! Absolutely the go place to " show off " I'm serious! Weirdly unique! Amazing delicious!

Let me tell you about the new and approved Mellow Mushroom in downtown Augusta! It was fabulous! The interior decor looks awesome! Of course the food was delicious, and our server was awesome!! You have to try their drink, Purple Reign. Delicious!

I don't really do chain review usually. But hey. So if you've been to one MM before you have been to them all. The 1102 version is just that. I do love the updated decor that's similar to the Aiken MM. For appetizers, we order jerk wings and thai chilli wings. They are oven-baked. The flavor on both was really good. Not authentic jerk but that's not expected and the thai chilli is sweet with a hit of spice like they sound. I do wish they were either cooked longer or were smaller wings. They were a bit large and were not piping like I prefer. I ordered the small (10') three topping pie. It was like $14ish. BLAH. Pepperoni, garlic and spinach. Man they were really stingy with the roni. I forgot how many but it was maybe 2ish per the four slices. The pizza is not BAD but it's nothing to brag about. The sauce is kinda sweet I don't mind it. The bottom crust just doesn't do anything for me. It has zero crisp / sturdiness to it. I did order the traditional pie. The thin-crust remedies that issue a little better. Over the last couple of years their bar offerings have gotten better. They have a decent selection of craft cocktails and draft beers. That combined with the new (nice) tv setup will make it one of the better places downtown to catch the game. The service was pretty darn good. I went for a birthday dinner on Saturday night. And it was week 1 of college football so the place was MOVIN. Our server took care of a party of twenty alone. She has a few moments where she got missing but considering a party that large with everyone drinking and people droppin in occasionally, she did excellent. Overall, was an above average experience. It will curtail a pizza craving but it just isn't THAT. It's a smidge above Papa John's but you get to go outside, grab a drink and maybe watch the game. I guess we will be back for that.

After a long day, I started with the Sunset in Paradise cocktail. It was very tasty. It was the perfect blend of sweet and tart, but not too sweet and it had a nice little kick. For my appetizer, I ordered the Spinach Artichoke dip and it was really good. It's served with garlic toast points. The garlic toast was the perfect amount of toastiness and softness. I ordered a small Holy Shiitake Pie. It was absolutely delicious! The small has four slices, so there's enough to take home. I loved the atmosphere and the decor. There was a nice size crowd for a Wednesday night, so we had a bit of wait for the pizza. I'm not complaining, because it was hot and fresh. Our waiter was very attentive.

Unbelievably bad service from the manager. Waited over an hour for a pizza that still had not been put in the oven. Manager was not professional at all in her explanation of the long delay. Would not recommend this place on a busy night.

When one is tempted to find themselves saying "worst pizza ever" or "most $@#!ed pizza" it's very easy to feel like you are in the right. The hard part is to remain thoughtful and to be mindful of the what the words really mean. After all, when one is so full of bile, and not yummy pizza, harsh statements can so readily. How can this one pizza joint be the "worst ever" when there is any other location still in existence? We all know that the next time you're forced by bad luck or an ill-timed child custody hearing to hack down a piece of dry or underdone icky crust, it's going to be the worst time ever. Because it really will be. Every Pizza Joiint is somehow worse than the last one you've been to. it's likesome sort of physics trap

Fun vibes. Friendly staff. Amazing pizza and menu. Just a great place to experience some of the flavors of downtown Augusta! (While there are Mellow Mushroom locations in many areas, this one does a great job of feeling unique.)

Easily Vegan Friendly Went with our vegan Meet Up group, lots of vegan options like veggie calzones, veggie pizza and sandwiches. The server was familiar with what items on the menu were vegan or could be made vegan. She promptly took our varied order and refilled beverage glasses. Everyone liked their meal. Follow your heart vegan cheese melts so well and is so creamy, we need to visit more often.

I love coming here. Every mellow mushroom that I've been to has been fantastic. Me and my wife love trying their local Pizzas. I wished they'd update the trivia questions overtop the bar more often.

Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and it was a great experience! Thank you Yelp for the code for free pretzel bites :) Their pretzel bites and artichoke dip is always super delicious. My friends got the wings and they looked super moist and they said they were yummy! My friend and I got the Holy Shiitake and Cuban Havana(?). Highly recommend those two flavours. They allow you to do half and half flavours if you wanted to try two flavours on one pizza! Probably would not come here if I was just craving pizza, but this is definitely a super nice place for a more casual friend get together and the sort!

Haven't really eaten here yet, an hour and a half waiting on food, we had 7 people and ordered apps. One order of wings came out and meatballs came out after about 25 minutes. Then the wait really started! Now really! After an hour and 10 minutes the waitress finally offered an excuse that they had a "bunch of to go orders"! Well hm if I had a restaurant full of people that had ordered food I think I would give the to go folks the wait and not the people sitting patiently waiting on food! Kid got antsy and the adults were hungry! And I was Hangry! Will not stop here again! There are plenty of places to get good pizza!

Their pizza can compete with Chicago pizza (I'm from Chicago:) and New York pizza (I worked in NY:) The crust is crispy and not hard. The white shiitake pizza with 5 cheeses and sweetened onions is to die for! We even enjoyed their sangria and mule:) Cloud 9 chicken wing's definitely took my taste buds to heaven. And that huge gooey soft peanut butter cookie readily landed in my "already full but there's always room for dessert" tummy! While waiting for our meal we enjoyed their ceiling and light fixtures. Groovy!

I love this place from head to toe! I love the food, I love the service. The menu is awesome. Today, my wife and I split a Holy Shitake pizza and it was delicious. Cori, our bartender, has been working here for eleven years and she knows all about the Mellow Mushroom organization, including recommending franchises in Panama City, Florida and Nashville, Tennessee. The physical restaurant is also wonderful. I love all the cool signs and everything is new and clean. I give the Mellow Mushroom on Broad in Downtown Augusta my highest recommdation.

Horrible service ever! The 6 of us order all together, only 4 of us ever received our food. We got the appetizers with no plates, napkins or utensils. Two other tables who were sat after us received their food with utensils. The salads were served.....still no napkins or utensils. It took us 3 times of attempting to get the waitresses attention before we gave up and went up to the front and ask for napkins and utensils. amAfter 35 mins we were only served 4 of of the 6 meals. We waited.... and waited.... 25 mins have past. We politely again went up to the front and asked about our food.... Another 15 mins gone by.... still no food. The 4 of us who received food are now done eating! This was complete BS. We went out as a family and only 2/3 of the table gets to eat. Do not eat here!!! I do not know if food is good, because I never received my plate!!!

During a weekend that had lots of people in town for Augusta 70.3, this place performed amazingly well! The restaurant was FULL and we just ordered some sandwiches to go. They said it would take 30 minutes and it was right on time. The sandwiches were excellent, as was the service!

If I could given them zero I would. No flavor so go to the Joint Pizza. Nice NY thin slices with cheese that is salty goodness!

I love mellow Mushroom. By far my favorite pizza ever. Tonight the hostesses were sitting around arguing over what table to put different families despite about 6 tables being open. Tables remained empty for about 20 minutes before finally sitting one family.

Came in at 8:30 pm and ordered a full Mel only to be refused alcohol service. Then asked 30 min later if I'd like anything to which I answered could I have a drink and the response was we don't think I'd be a good idea. Served me but not my girlfriend. Crazy. Walked across the street and we're served immediately.
