Mellow Mushroom Franklin

My wife Kylie and I got married yesterday morning. I know a Monday is quite unconventional, but 2 broke kids in love took what we could get! We were so honored to have our reception dinner here that evening. Kelsey, the General Manager, and Skyler, a fellow manager, went above and beyond to serve our massive group (70 people in all)! Tables set, food hot, drinks flowing, it was a perfect evening. So grateful for the staff, and the food was amazing! Highly recommend a Maui Wowie pizza and a few glasses of Pinot Grigio with people you love dearly. Can’t wait to make Mellow a frequent spot during our marriage!

My wife and I stopped by after a evening meeting on a Thursday night and we were able to get right in and order. The pizza was great. The dough was crisp and light and fluffy. The sauce was good and the toppings were great. Will definitely go back. The atmosphere was a little dark but fun with the paintings and theme.

I’m from Minnesota and I’m here on a work trip with my boyfriend. For one this food is by far the best food I’ve had while being here, so good I had to come twice. Not only was the food good, but Ava and Frankie made this environment so much better. So much so that I had to get a photo with them! They have amazing energy and their customer service is unmatched. If I come to this area again, I will be sure to come back!

I’m not going to let the rudeness and dismissiveness of the hosts overshadow the excellent service we received from our waitress, Ava. We absolutely LOVE this place, good atmosphere and the quality of the food never disappoints. The hosts can do a much better job, not only with their non-greeting but their overall annoyed appearance over the phone and in person. Thank you, Ava for a wonderful experience for our first married Valentines Day date! We will be back!

We had the small Holy Shiitake pizza with the Mellow crust (thin). Delicious. The garlic butter is wonderful.

Really good pizza and great service. The flavors were really good. I don't usually like the crust on pizza, but I LOVED the crust that Mellow Mushroom had. It was seasoned perfectly and great texture. Atmosphere was fun.

What a charming pizza restaurant with a unique pizza variety. I LOVE the Holy Shitake pie! The atmosphere is trippy but more than that, it is housed in a former bank where the architect repurposed the bank vault into the cold storage! And there are remaining post office boxes at the entrance. The service and pizza crust were phenomenal. It may have been kids night because there were lots of kids and a balloon artist (the artist made ANYTHING the kids asked for. It was pretty impressive). Will eat here again.

Their pizza is amazing. I don't know what they do to their crust, but I love it. We have been there several times and never been disappointed with the food. Sometimes the service is awesome and other times it's good, but it's never been bad. We definitely will go again.
