Mellow Mushroom

Food so good it was almost gone before I could take photos at lunch. We ordered a large pizza which was very filling with a great stone oven taste. Along side the pizza we also had the pretzel bites and beer cheese dip and it was amazing! The atmosphere was great, however only the downstairs was open for lunch. We sat ourselves and was immediately greeted by the polite server. He was accommodating and attentive, ensuring that we received recommendations and refills in a timely manner. They had live music playing as many of the bars do, but we really enjoyed the singer that was playing while we ate. Overall a great experience and I would recommend it to everyone!

Right on broadway on the roof top made for a great atmosphere. The Pizza was really tasty and served quickly. The waitress was great, probably over worked as they could have done with another pair of hands. Definetly go here for the pizza and atmosphere.

The pizza is amazing had the holy shiitake was perfect. The bartender was charismatic and was working with a new trainee. Atmosphere, music was great and the service and food were excellent. Will come back for sure!

Terrific, over-the-top service (Jazz is amazing). I made an online reservation and couldn't find it in my email and needed to change it. Jazz, not only took care of me, she reserved The Best Table! What a wonderful end to a wonderful day at CMA Fest! There was music playing next door. So we had entertainment too. But it wasn't so loud that we couldn't hear each other talking.

I loved this place! It was a bit more chill than some of the other honky tonks and I really loved the vibe. Also their vegan pizzas are SO good and appreciated this place as really the only place on Broadway I could eat... So I went twice! Also their alcoholic slushies were amazing I had a frozen peanut butter whiskey and coke slush... INCREDIBLE. also I wish I could remember my servers name but she was the sweetest most helpful person! Im sad to be back in the UK far away from this place.

Horrible horrible bartender was pushy for tip really pushy all he did was hand me a soda? Does that deserve a tip? Place was nice and clean band was awesome the pace was good but bartender made us leave and not spend our money there it’s like he wanted $10 tip for a $2 soda? Just to hand it to me?? :( horrible

We stopped by for a quick eat and to enjoy some music! The bar was very nice and enjoyable! Great atmosphere and the music was pretty good from the live band! Our server was excellent! My pizza was ok, a little greasy! And the sandwich we got well…it looked a little sad. Still good! Still happy we went and the food did come out fast!

The bartender in this picture ignored me the whole time and looked down on me. He even told one of the chefs to take his time, even though I had already been waiting for over 30 minutes. I'm giving three stars only because of the girl who helped me and the humble chef.

We didn't eat, just took advantage of their rooftop bar where there wasn't a line to get in and you could hear the live music from the next door rooftop. They have your standard beer and cheap well drink options and a few drinks on the menu. Overall, for a Saturday night in Nashville, it was a good option if you just want to chill.

No complaints here, nice place to get a slice or two on a night out on Broadway. Got our pizza within minutes, our server was so nice. It was hot and hot the spot.

Late night snack! This is what the people get when they are drunk. It absorbs the alcohol and the people aren't aware that it tastes like little Cesar. Yep I said it. We got this Thursday night because it was the only place open after midnight in the area where we were. It was reasonable to buy by the slice but after the first bite I only at the topping. It was a a fun environmental and not too crowded.

We love the Mellowmushroom and always get an all veggie pizza when we go, which has been at least 6 times! Would've have given it 5 stars, but we had a few pizzas that were burned on the bottom. Staff is always great too!

Great ambiance, the live music on Friday night was amazing but unfortunately we did not feel welcome by the older waitress with yellow hair and glasses. She was very rude and acted if we were not even there and Rolled her eyes when I asked I needed more time to look at the drink menu. However, My cocktail was amazing, and the security guards were very nice and polite !

Who knew this chain (or franchise) was in Nashville? Not me. Thanks Yelp for helping me find vegan pizza when I was at a tradeshow in Music City. This is not your typical Mellow Mushroom. Looks like every other honkey tonk bar. Difference is I went during the middle of the day during the week. The bar was in full swing with a band playing. I had ordered a vegan pizza to go. Went to the back to pick up. Waited only a minute or two and it was ready to go. Decent tasting for "fast food" pizza. Happy for the plant based options right in downtown. The location is great if you're near the convention centers or on Broadway.

This place is a cool spot. We came here on a whim wanting some pizza and stumbled upon this place. Crust is crispy and overall the pizza was pretty good. Live entertainment at the entrance. Can have a drink eat a slice and enjoy the live music. Would recommend this place if you're looking for pizza.

Small is all! The restaurant only serves small pizzas! You can offer kore money for a larger pizza, but they won't allow it. Only small pizzas. It's a pizzeria. Why is there only small pizzas? Avoid this restaurant at all costs. Worst of all, the mushrooms were not cooked through.

On our Nashville trip we referred to this place as "the grand finale".... we ended both of our nights here. With 1-3 slices of good ol' pepperoni pizza. Can't beat a slice of pepperoni pizza on a drunk night & you should not end your night without having one of their pizza slices. Drunk pizza is the best pizza, listen to your heart. Order it with a shot of jack if you're feeling spicy & good luck walking back to your hotel. Hey life is an adventure. You are in Nashville. Live a little. YOLO.

Jake was amazing! Only person upstairs serving ALL the tables. Quick friendly service. Weird live band (not a huge fan but it's fine). Food was delicious as always. Vegan pizza 10/10, large portions so cheap. And they still allow the 1/2 & 1/2 pizza which is always a good time! GREAT beer selection! Again praise for Jake 10/10

We popped in here to grab a drink and we sat at the bar. The bartenders are super friendly and outgoing! The band was amazing. We ordered 2 personal pizzas because we couldn't agree on what we wanted. They were so good!!! I would definitely recommend this place! They also have slices of pepperoni and cheese if you want to get something quick!!

Small bar with outstanding live entertainment. Drinks not cheap but no cover charge. Best food deal on Broadway: $6.00 New York Style pizza slices. The great flavor, texture, and crust. People were arm wrestling for the crusts! Corn meal or semolina flour on the edge? Very good experience. The Jack Daniels, and Coke Slurpee's are very good and refreshing.

We ordered a pizza to go, because we were working a conference nearby. We got the buffalo chicken pizza. It was fine, subpar, nothing to rave about. It wasn't anything specific but everything. The bread quality. The cheese? Not sure. But it was just fine. We were hungry and ate it. But not sure about other options.

I spent a lot of time drinking in Nashville. Do you judge me? I wouldn't. Actually wait, yes my wallet does judge me. Drinks in Nashville are not cheap. It doesn't matter what bar you choose, you are paying the same. I even went way out of downtown and it was very close in price. Anyway, that doesn't matter! So I am walking along after checking out a few bands and feeling good, but I got hungry! I literally stopped at every dam bar asking for food and voila! They had pizza!! Not sure if it was my need for sustenance, but it was so good! I actually ordered a second slice! and a drink. Actually 2 drinks and 2 slices, but well worth it. The band was great. No complaints from my end. Will I go back? Dam right I will!

I ordered a thin pizza extra crispy with 2x mushrooms which I paid $6 extra for. In a word it: sucked. They used maybe 2 mushrooms on my large mushroom pizza. It was not a thin crust and it was undercooked instead of crispy. Stay away. It's bad and they don't care.

Computer was down so we never got our pizza before the elo concert. Just 90 dollars worth of drinks.

Although the place has certain elements that would make a "good" Nashville HT, it's got a long way to go! The musicians were in the ballpark, talent wise, the base player was a guitar player (didn't need to know) the band as a whole seemed to wonder... what should we play next and who is going to sing! Don't understand the King Kong over the door and the lighting is atrocious!! One unisex bathroom on the first floor but clean enough for the men at least. But the second guitar referring to the show as a Nashville rehearsal doesn't set a good tone.. Also the stage hand, setting up the stage during the first 25 minutes of the first set including putting the t shirt stands, cd stand, decibel meter, tip bucket, Venmo sign, passing notes to the front man , etc. Show up on time next time!!! I sure hope the pizza is great because the rest needs some work! So far the low point of the trip...

I've eaten at several Mellow Mushrooms, and this was unlike any other. First, we waited at the hostess stand for several minutes with no sign of a host. They were busy, so we found two seats at the bar. Tired and hungry, we sat there for over 5 minutes while the bartender entirely ignored us. She looked directly at us and picked up glassware from right in front of us without ever even acknowledging our existence. Eventually, she took a break from visiting with her friends at the bar and came and asked us what she could get for us. I asked for a menu and a tap list. Almost 10 minutes later.we got sticky menus and a tap list thrown on the bar. Then, she left the bar unattended for about 10 minutes. Not sure where she went, but when she came back and continued visiting with her friends while washing the barware. After almost 30 minutes sitting at the bar, she finally came and took our order. After another conversation with her friends, she finally brought us two beers. The cocktail napkins were right there, but she couldn't be bothered to toss a couple down on the nasty, sticky bar. No time to complain... We might never see our food. About 30 minutes later, we got our pizzas. While we were waiting, my wife commented to me, "What are the chances we can get a second beer?" We hadn't noticed the server station behind us, but a cute little server chimed in, "Not likely!" over my shoulder. We chatted with her for a couple minutes. She tried her best to make our experience better, but it was simply out of her control. She concurred that the bartender had absolutely no craps to give about us and was generally unpleasant. The bartender did, however, provide excellent service to the staff who was coming off shift. She served each of them two rounds while we waited for her to bring us our check During the entire time, there were only a few people at the bar, and never once did she stop and wipe down the bar or come to check on us. The ONLY reason they got two stars is because the pizza was very good and the other server genuinely wanted us to enjoy our dinner despite the fact we weren't her customers and she couldn't fix any of the issues. Do better Mellow Mushroom.

The beer we had was fine, but we ordered (at 10:30PM so IT WAS fairly late), but we ordered/ said "can we get a large pepperoni to go and a pacifico" and the bartender immediately poppped the beer and handed it to us, then let us now it was only pay by the slice and we could get a full pizza for $7/slice ($56 for a pizza). So we were stuck at the very least for our $11 beer. We paid without issue and didn't complain, but we will never be back based on how our situation was handled, it felt very blatant that we were told we couldn't get a whole pizza until after we were given our beer. Thanks but no thanks. Been to mellow mushrooms in other cities, but without question our absolute worst experience tonight

Mellow Mushroom always remains consistent from location to location. Can't deny I love their pizza, and the Nashville location was no exception. Not surprising, especially for their location in Nashville, they had live music, and while we dined it was a great cover band. I stuck with one of my favorites, the Pacific Rim Pizza (basically Hawaiian), and I tried their own in house brew, which I've never seen at another location. Everything was delicious , as expected. Service was friendly, and reasonably quick considering they probably had more take out orders than normal for the Super Bowl. I will say this location didn't appear to be as eco friendly as most, as they used plastic cups, and plastic silverware rather than resizable utensils, so that was a bit disappointing. Despite the negatives, I would still recommend

Get the Holy Shiitake. It WON'T disappoint! Love music cover band was fun, not obnoxious. Well done, Mellow!

Beautiful place almost hidden in plain sight on broadway. This was the first place we went on our trip and we're so glad we did. The staff were very friendly. You do order everything from the bar on the rooftop, but the drinks were great. The food portions are a little on the smaller side, but it's so good. The talent of the musicians on each floor was also amazing to listen to. There's also a little arcade on the third floor, we loved it.

Great place to grab a slice when enjoying the bars on Broadway. Pizza was tasty and hit the spot. Not the best, but definitely worth stopping for.

Oddly enough I didn't even realize this was a mellow mushroom until we left, it's definitely not the type of mellow mushroom I am used to visiting. The draw here was their rooftop bar, unfortunately getting there requires some work, so loosen up those legs and hope for a glass of water at the top. The rooftop is quite comfortable, the friendly staff are all over it and make a great drink, even at their busiest times they don't miss a beat. Cheers!

It's 2:15 am and they closed their doors even though their store hours say 3am . The servers just stared at me as I tried to figure out why the doors were locked almost 1 hour before closing time

The pizza here was so good! I wish we had one in Utah! The service was okay, the lady that helped was kinda rude and rushed us because they closed in 30 minutes. Location is best for a night out in the night!

Cool spot! I'm not a country girl so was super cool to come to a bar that also serves in downtown with a live band that covers music aside from your typical country music. Loved the mostly Rock cover band playing on 4/6/2024. Restrooms were easy to find and use. The blond server that helped us at our table was super helpful too. Even brought us pizza. Thank you. Sorry I didn't get her name.

Great atmosphere, great staff, great food. If I'm ever back in Nashville this will be a spot.

This place is awesome! The bottom level is kid friendly until 8pm (my kids ages vary from ages 5-7) and tucked in plain sight on Broadway! This pizza was delicious and our server was extremely friendly! It is right on Broadway so there was live music on a Friday afternoon but it wasn't loud enough that I couldn't talk or have conversations with the people in our group. I would definitely take my family, including my kids, here again if we find ourselves on Broadway.

We went here for some drinks & a good rooftop view. The pizza smelled delicious when we were there the first time & we jokingly talked about the mushroom soup that's on their menu. Well 2 days later we ended up here to try that mushroom soup! It was AMAZING! Similar to a stroganoff sauce but in soup form. As weird as it might be to have in the middle of summer, get the soup! Presentation was beautiful & it was very tasty. We also ordered a gluten free Great White pizza. It had really good flavor. I would have never guessed that it was gluten free! I loved the blend of mozzarella, provolone, & ricotta cheeses that are piled on this pizza as well as a feta cheese. Love the rooftop views at this bar. Loved the vibes. Our waiter was fantastic, both times. Drinks are delicious. Bummed we went here both nights & they didn't have rooftop music. We were able to listen to the neighbor rooftop bar performers. We would all recommend this place!

I wanted a real pizza. Been craving a good flavored pizza. I think I found it. Had great flavor it was crispy and wasn't over done. Actually had a real crust. Real bacon and the bacon was crispy. Love non quitter bacon ..lol

Broadway Street in Nashville is an experience! No drinking on the street, but plenty of drinkers on the street. Music everywhere. And bachelorette parties. I think there is a Nashville audience that every female in Nashville over 18 has to attend a bachelorette party monthly. Otherwise I don't know where they all come from. So, when walking down the street places lure you in with music, barkers and deals. Mellow Mushroom is a known quantity food wise. And the music was terrific! I went for a small pizza which was a meal and a half. Wife had the soup and salad which she loved. We didn't make the rooftop whic

Went to Mellow Mushroom on Broadway for the first time and sat at the rooftop bar. We had GREAT service from the bartender Peyton (who is from St Louis like me!). The bruschetta was DELICIOUS and we also ordered salads which were good but nothing super special. I did see lots of pizzas coming up to the area that looked really yummy. I would definitely return here when I'm in Nashville again.

Nice bar with decent food. Meatballs were very good....artichoke/spinach dip was ok. Band playing was good. We were able to duck in here for a bite during prime time on broadway and eat at the bar

I wanna say that this is a really appetizing place, but is just about above average when it comes to food and service. The pizzas are good, you can tell from biting into the crust that it's a better quality pie and their signature creations are nice. The drinks are a hit or miss. I didn't like the hot Rita at all - too sour and sweet with an unwanted spice kick. The mellow melon is alright. The service was really slow as they seemed short of staff and there was a kitchen order backlog. Although the servers were courteous and provided us a complimentary cheesy bread. Since we were so hungry, I suppose we enjoyed the pizza more. Mellow mushroom is mellow like it's name, nothing exciting, just easy on it's plate.

Outstanding customer service! Got our pizza to go! Got the great white! It did not disappoint! Waited at the bar and had a couple drinks! Bartender was friendly! Would definitely go back!!!

Extremely rude waitress with short hair. She mistreated us by treating us like we were dumb and didn't know how to order. The vibe with the music was great but she definitely killed it with her attitude. We just walked away. Very bad experience for our first time in Nashville

Amazing pizza! Light crispy flavorful! Skip the cheese bread and get the pizza directly. Drinks are amazing and super potent too Service is extra ordinary and the band and speaker setup is amazing even tho it doesn't look it. Loved the ambiance, the crowd and the food.

Awesome place to grab food and drinks or just hang out and listen to music. My friends and I sat inside and ordered lunch and enjoyed the talent of the band . We thought it might be a long wait but at 2 pm on Saturday during SEC bball tournament and there was no wait. I am vegan so I got a vegan calzone. There are TVs with the games on to watch. Great music, great food and great vibe. Service was good, we had a friendly waitress who was super knowledgeable and helpful

Food was great for a chain! The only reason I give it 4/5 was service was a little disorganized. Our gluten free friend was kept waiting while they remade their pizza, it was a busy day though! Drinks were excellent, I mixed a shot with their strawberry lime lemonade... highly recommend! There are not bathrooms Aton the rooftop, must do stairs . Our regular pizza was fresh and delicious!

Worst mellow mushroom visit ever! I am a regular at my local mellow mushroom and was hoping for a easy diner while traveling but the experience was awful. The rooftop advertised was not opened so you had to sit at or near the bar. Our severe was stoned and took forever to get food

I love this place. The pizza is some of the best I've ever had. The atmosphere, food, live bands and service are great! But Taylor was one of the best servers I've ever had! She is the BEST!

We ordered the Superfan package, which was advertised to feed 10-15 people. It does not. It consisted of 3 MEDIUM pizzas, two salads that would serve a total of 4, 2 orders of pizza bites, and 6 plates and sets of cutlery. We knew the number of food items we would get -we didn't know the SIZE of the items. This is not enough food for 10-15, by any means. When I called to explain my disappointment, I was quickly told that the local store has no control over how corporate markets packages and this manager was not to blame. She offered no apologies or understanding of the fact that my meeting did not have enough food for the attendees. She was quite defensive. She did acknowledge that they should have sent more plates - that was the extent of it. I was...displeased. Obviously, we will never again order from this company, but I also want to warn others.

worst mellow mushroom ive ever been to. host staff was unattentive. bar tender / waitr was crude. team members were cussing eachother. the layout was more a bar than a restaurant. 0/10 do not reccomend to anyone & will not come back.
