Very cool paper and souvenir shop. Lots of artistic and unique items. It's a bit cramped but there's lots to see. There's actually two shops right next to each other but over of them was closed when we were there. Great location in The Marais and right by Notre Dame. Definitely worth a visit!

Beautiful boutique with a carefully chosen selection of cool items. Higher end hand made paper journals, rare prints and decorative objects, also very nice less expensive cards, notebooks, etc for gifts. Bring visitors here to get gifts. Staff is always kind and helpful.

Google
Beautiful selection of stationery including special gold gilt cards, handmade paper, calligraphy materials (pens, feathers, nibs and nib holders, inks), notebooks, paperweight, posters, art prints, pads, wrappers, stamps, wax seal, antique cards, old engravings, and many other trinkets and ephemera. The store is a bit small and can get crowded at times but the variety of choice is great for stationery lovers so worth a visit.

Can we please keep this place for centuries to come? It is special stores like this which give Paris its charm. Without it, it would just be another metropolis. THE PAPER is astounding and all the book jewellery, special pens, wrapping paper, journals...oh I could go on and on. It is now my most favourite store in Paris. The only rivals I have found worthy would be the paper stores in Japan. Every item in here feels like magic.

All I can say is WOOOOOW! My husband and I are in Paris visiting, and we were recommended by a YouTube channel that we follow called "Les Frenchies" and they recommended a some shops to check out that are authentic and worth visiting when in France. They recommended coming to "Mélodies Graphiques" and I instantly fell in love and told my husband we need to visit the store ASAP! First impression, I absolutely love this store and I believe everybody should go here and a least get one or two things. I wanted to get everything in the store because everything looked like it was made well, but we ended up getting a handful of things for ourselves and for gifts for our family. I recommend coming into this store because they have authentic handmade cards, notebooks, and more! I should have asked for the sale's advisors name, but she was so nice and lovely! If you are looking for a stationary store while visiting Paris, this is the store to be at!

Google
Shops are set up nicely with some interesting cards, but the personnel are extremely hostile in both. I went in with my 2 children who were being extra polite and not handling anything. The personnel glared at them and came over to check what they were doing when I said they could pick out a notebook each. I smiled and said hello, and I got a glare and no response back. Would like to patronize this type of shop but won’t come here again, as we felt absolutely unwelcome.

What a find! Well worth a visit if you're walking in the vicinity of Notre-Dame. Beautiful papers, note books, prints and calligraphy supplies.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this stationary store. The shop sales person let me browse without hovering or trying to push things at me. It was filled with lots of quality items in classic styles, including many Italian papers - not trendy, kitsch or junk items. I purchased a beautiful set of stationary cards and envelopes for myself.

Yelp
I was walking to my apartment from the bus stop and passed by Mélodies Graphiques. What caught my eye were these gorgeous tarot cards. I had to pop inside the store and get them. I found a charming stationary store that appeared to specialize in calligraphy art and tools (i.e. ink, fountain pens, quill pens, journals, etc.). I did find the tarot deck that looks like it was designed in the 14th century. There were 3 different kinds of deck including a French one from Napoleon's time and two other Italian decks. I went with one of the Italian decks called I Naibi di Giovanni Vacchetta, which I read was a rare and historic deck. It's a stunning deck, and the store owner said it was the best of the 3. Lastly, customer service was excellent. The store owner was friendly ans helpful.

Yelp
If you love everything about calligraphy, this is your store. Don't get intimidated by the shop owner. He sees ton tourist everyday going in and out without any idea including me. I could get frustrated if I were him. So, knowing what you looking for, he can be quite helpful.

Yelp
Gorgeous papers and journals bound in leather and an assortment of fountain pens--sheer joy and pleasure. The gentleman at checkout may seem gruff but he's actually just reserved and serious. His shop is gorgeous!

Yelp
Nice place to find lot of things Not that much choice on the book and diary side. I ve bought a diary for a travel memory that i wanted to gift to someone. There was a mistake on the engravings... They corrected it but no commercial gesture or else. Just now it looks fine so it's fine, and u pay before the engravings so no refund possible. A bit disappointed, regarding to the high price paid for it.

Yelp
Charming calligraphy and paper shop reminiscent of Olivander's wand shop (Harry Potter) tucked away between the bustle of shopping districts of the Rue des Rossiers / Rivoli and Notre Dame. I had made the decision to start journaling again and was delighted with the gorgeous hand bound notebooks and leather bound journals - truly awoken my love for the lost art of calligraphy. They sell hardback bound notebooks, leather bound ones, more paper with matching envelopes and cards, quills and nibs, inks, fountain pens and binding paper if want to take notebook binding into your own hands. Great shop for gifts and those who are into calligraphy. I bought the leather bound notebook. The idea of writing on the gorgeous artisan paper in Biro seemed a sin so I bought myself a set of pens and ink. Can't wait to start writing!! This shop and the owner really made my trip - thank you!

Yelp
J'adore Melodies Graphics!!!! I have been visiting this store for well over 25 years each time we housesit in Paris. The selection of papers, writing instruments and other amazing items is fabulous. The owner has the same grace and kindness as the original owner. There is something there for everyone. I can hardly wait till it's safe to travel again to return to my favorite store in Paris.

Yelp
Cute place to buy stationary. Got a set of 8 cute letters and envelopes for 8€. A very neat shop, very old school and historic.

Yelp
This is the kind of classic French establishment you look for when visiting France. The shopkeepers (assumably the owners) are welcoming and nice, and it's definitively the best papeterie in the area. The selection is heavily geared toward calligraphy equipment, personal stationery, and a spread of occasion cards that range from modern to vintage. You won't find the kind of variety you see at a Paper Source in the states, which is convenient when you're looking for mass produced boxes of witty holiday cards, but this is Paris and small specialty stores are about as good as it gets.

Yelp
An extremely elegant and charming store. A great selection of stationery and calligraphy supplies. I look forward to my next time in Paris just to visit Mélodies Graphiques.

Yelp
Hidden gem in Le Marais. Eric did the calligraphy on our wedding invitations, & his work is stunning. Only 1€ per envelope!

Yelp
A great stationary store made better by the owner, Eric, who will write things for you in calligraphy. A spot for great postcards (some of which Eric has made) and worth the stop as you come down from the Marais.
