I wil give them 5 stars because I forgot my Kindle in the room and the cleaner promptly reported it and the receptionist called us up immediately. We were only 5km away. Fantastic. Not many places would be so kind. Thank you so much. Not I can keep reading Little Doritt by Charles Dickens. The hotel is a bit old and worn like many places in Madagascar but it had charm and the price was reasonable. There is a balcony. Large happy rooms. Great views of this beautiful beach … friendly staff

This hotel offers very affordable prices and is located right on the beach, with a beautiful view of the shoreline, coconut palms, and the ocean. The staff can sometimes be very kind and approachable, but at other times they tend to ignore guests. The food was very tasty, but the portions could be a bit larger. We experienced long waiting times, as we had to wait about two hours for our meals on two separate occasions, which we felt was excessive. As for the rooms, they were very neat and clean, with well-maintained and hygienic bathrooms. We stayed during the off-season in July, which may have affected some aspects of service.

The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly and the food in the restaurant is good, though it pays to order in advance if you want to avoid a longish wait.||As in most of the towns in the Sava region, electricity is at present cut from 02.00 till 10.00. Although the hotel has a generator, it doesn’t activate it to provide current during this time. Make sure you have a good torch if you’re likely to need to get up in the night.||My main problem with this hotel and the reason for the low rating is that it is a place where Caucasian men well past their prime come to stay with Malagasy girls young enough to be their granddaughters.||The proprietors do nothing to discourage this – on the contrary, they cover their backs by posting notices everywhere prohibiting entry to under-18s and requiring ID. Our guide accompagnateur confirmed that “students come here with foreign men.” For our return journey he took us elsewhere.||Although the main fault obviously lies with the men concerned, the proprietors could stop it if they wanted to.

Nice setting room was good but overpriced for the area.. I did return here for some food one day. Rice and fish I had to send back it was cold for a price of 20000+ ma not good . For the same meal in local restaurant 8000ma

I stayed here on and off between 2016 & 2018 while I was in the Peace Corps in Madagascar. Pierre the manager & the family that owns it became like family over the 2 years. Great location right on the beach with easy access to many bars and restaurants by walking on foot for 5-15minutes.

A somewhat ramshackled beachfront hotel on the far and not best end of the beach, adjacent to what is called the center of this town, quality of location depends on what you're in town for. Rooms go from shared bath to suite in price ranging from $12 to $60. For budget traveling, these are actually viable rooms cheaper than anything comparable: quiet, secure, mosquito netting, wifi, TV, 2nd floor, in building with hotel infrastructure, restaurant, et.al. Breakfast restaurant was the only one in town we experienced that provided actual milk for coffee and not the condensed stuff. Water pressure bath was a subpar, which they claimed was temporary.

The good point is the beachfront. The not so good point is the room: smelly bathroom, not well ventilated and somewhat expensive.||The dysfunctioning air-con was repaired on our request. The hotel doesn't have alternative power when there is power outage, which was one day out of two.||Otherwise, hotel personnel is very friendly.

Nice homely place to stay on the beach.|A little older place but spacious rooms, courteous staff, family owned and managed.|The owners themselves are present there and were accommodation of all our requests.|Very clean place, and good food|Very good location
