I really enjoyed this pensiyon. there was someone at the front always so that strangers couldn't just walk in.||The room was basic but very clean. Two beds pushed together were ok but that was meant to be a couples bed so if you don't like that you will need to specify when booking.||Air conditioning worked well. It was very central. We were recommended to go to Ege Restaurant and the food was good/reasonably priced.||NB: Breakfast is on the terrace up the top. It is hot in summer. There are no elevators so you'll need to climb stairs to your floor level. If you have difficulty ask for Level 1 when making your boking.

If you are going for the beach, it's a very lovely swimming beach, hardly any people in May, just a few steps away from your bed. Breakfast, which you can order there, is almost on the beach as well and yummy.||||We went to Tasucu for the birding. To be fair, this place does not advise itself as a birding stay, so has no maps at all of the area for you. And the information centres in both Tasucu and Silifke were closed, and possibly won't reopen. We have very basic GPS, and downloaded Turkey prior to our departure, which was a God sent, and worked a treat getting us back off impossible sand roads at the end of our birding days. Adana Airport web site does not mention Hire cars, but we found all the usual suspects there, hired a car, very well priced and drove off with our GPS, which talked non stop. Was easy, fun and recommend it.||||Friendly people. We enjoyed our stay. The room, with bath was a bit tired. Even some paint would be a massive improvement. But it had a lot to recommend it and we would stay again.

Perfect location by the beach and walking distance from the center. Migros supermarket 4min walking and good coffee shops 3min walking. The owners are lovely people always friendly and helpful. We stayed in the upstairs apartment at the end. It was nice and private, had a kitchen, balcony, aircon and wifi. It is not luxury but it's comfortable and has everything you need for a reasonable price of 800lira per night.

This cheap accommodation had all the things we needed for an overnight stay. The room was a reasonable size with a balcony, looking out over the Mediterranean Sea. The shower had no special recess, which meant everything in the bathroom became wet. But for the price we paid this was fine. The staff were very cheerful, and breakfast (at extra cost) was delivered with a smile.

We booked ahead and stayed at this hotel for one night. We could have stayed for longer. The beach in front of the hotel was ok, and the view from the balcony was super. The hotelier owner gave us a recommendation for a restaurant downtown that was wonderful. There was a great feeling dealing with the family that owned this place; no ulterior motives. The hotel was remarkably clean and we considered this a great value stay. Basic, but comfortable.

I loved the Meltem Pension: the only reason it received 4 stars was because of its primitive bathroom. If the bathroom were a little better I would have given it five stars and happily stayed a week or longer. This is a pansiyon: it is a no-frills place but it covers all the basic comforts and the location and price cannot be beat. The Meltem is literally right on the beach. If you walk out the front of the property you will cross a small pedestrian walkway and then find yourself on the beach. The Meltem has several umbrellas and beach chairs on the beach available for its guests. The water on the beach is warmest sea water I have ever encountered in Turkey (and we visited at the end of September!). We were visiting when the sea breeze was rolling in (the meltem) and found the air temperature to be very comfortable. Our room was on the second floor of the front building. It consisted of a small kitchen with sink, refrigerator and kitchen items (like plates and utensils), a bathroom, and a bedroom with one full size bed, one single bed, and a couch. At the front was a nice sized balcony with a fabulous view out over the sea and over into the town of Tasucu. The balcony had a table with four chairs on it. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked very well, the TV had a number of channels, and the wi-fi was excellent. As I mentioned earlier, my only complaint was the bathroom; it didn't have a separate shower and instead was a wet-room. You basically got the entire bathroom wet when you turned on the shower. There also wasn't very good ventilation in the bathroom. The bathroom had hand soap but you should otherwise bring your own bath products. The Meltem was close to town: about 5 minutes on the pedestrian walkway takes you right into downtown Tasucu where you will find the harbor, shops and nice restaurants. We were very impressed with Tasucu and would happily return to the Meltem.

Motorbike friendly, very close to harbour and town center (app. 1.5 km - 1 mile). Staff is lovely and helpful. Decent price for the season. Paid 35 USD for a double room per night. Free private parking, WiFi and air condition. Location is just by the beach. Have a small shared kitchen. Refrigirator in the room.

The owner goes out of his way to make this a welcoming and friendly experience. Very clean place. Great breakfast, and nice terrace with a mountain view. Location is very convenient: near the bus and right in the town! Relatively short walk to the water
