Good location and well maintained hotel talking, as per the brand standards. However somethings can still be improved when it comes to night room service. Like the tea received in the room that was delivered by the F&B Salver was spilled over the saucer with sugar bags floating and dripped. The amenities in the room were well kept, the breakfast spread was good and well refilled and handled. The overall feel was good and hopefully coming back soon.

There were definite five-star moments — ||Despite a few setbacks, our five-day stay revealed a property with remarkable potential — thanks to several standout individuals and experiences that truly made a difference.||🌟 Service Highlights That Deserve Applause:| 1. Breakfast Service – A Five-Star Performance|Special mention to Sohail, who is an absolute star — articulate, attentive, and flawlessly professional. He never missed a detail. Also, hats off to the two ladies at the hostess desk and live counter (sorry we missed the name – one starts with “V”) — their warmth and energy were infectious. They truly are the smile and vibe police of the breakfast team!||On the flip side, the men in jackets—especially during breakfast—came across as stern and unapproachable. A more welcoming demeanor, like the rest of the staff, would go a long way. 5 days in the hotel not once anyone checked in on our stay which is a standard practice I remember from our previous stays.|| 2. Housekeeping – Impeccable and Detail-Oriented|The housekeeping team was an absolute clean machine — responsive, adaptable, and impressively thorough. Their attention to detail made our stay in Room 617 incredibly comfortable. A heartfelt thank you!|| 3. Check-In / Check-Out – Smooth and Super-Fast|This was one of the most efficient aspects of our stay. The front desk team was swift, accurate, and courteous — everything you’d expect from a top-tier property.|| 4. Security & Bell Staff – The True Charm of the Stay|Every return to the hotel felt like a warm welcome home. The security gentleman (older in age, but unmatched in energy) and the ever-helpful bellboy were outstanding. And a special shoutout to the gentleman with the moustache — humble, ever-present, and truly kind.| 5. Gym Staff & Maintenance|Though the gym is compact, it’s well-maintained and the staff there are courteous and attentive.||⸻||💫 What Truly Stood Out||What touched us most was that none of these team members ever made us feel like they were doing it for tips or incentives — their hospitality felt genuine and from the heart.||⸻|As a pin collector, I’d love to add a Fern pin to my collection — it looks beautiful and niche.|——————||We rated the hotel three stars for two main reasons:| 1. Ongoing large-scale renovations, which disrupted the ambiance and experience.| 2. Service lapses across departments, which fell short of five-star expectations.||While the property shows strong potential, there are key areas that need immediate attention:| • Cutlery shortages: Staff consistently struggled to provide additional cutlery, often taking it from other tables — an issue that repeated itself every time.| • Dining atmosphere: The restaurant feels stark and echoing due to the high ceilings. Introducing live flute music in the lobby could elevate the guest experience dramatically.| • Room readiness: Upon check-in, it took 20–30 minutes for the air purifier to neutralize the unpleasant odor in the room. This made for a very poor arrival experience, with outdoor air quality feeling better than indoors. Guests should not be checked into rooms in this condition.| • Pool condition: Despite being in an elite area and pricing, the pool remained dirty and unusable throughout our five-day stay, which seriously undermined the luxury feel of the hotel.

Great service and warm experience at our engagement ceremony and stay of our guests at Meluha. Great food by Chef Ismail. Personalised attention for all our guests and arranging rooms were left in the able hands of Mr Monty who became more of a family friend. Able assistance and support by Ms Nikita and Swapneel of Banquets. ||All in all a wonderful property and people.

I loved every experience at the "Fern". From my doorman who took my luggage to the 6th floor and explain every detail of the room electronics, room service, frt desk and housekeeping. I love my housekeeper " Nedaji" he was exceptional and VERY ATTENTIVE. He made my home away from home a great experience. Every staff member from the kitchen to the frt desk where wonderful, kind and attentive. Thank you for making my stay very comfortable. Hope to be back again! Keep up the excellent work 👏

Great 2 night stay. Staff all very attentive and respectful. Nothing too much trouble. Nigel on reception is great and Satish at the front desk sorts taxis, trips etc. and also great. Man at pool really looks after you with chairs and opening doors for you. Don't know his name. Overall a really good experience here, especially the service.

The experience with staff was absolutely stunning, the property was nice and location is very good as well. The breakfast was really good too. There was one problem though, the 6th floor smelled really bad and smelled moldy/ moist, I think the management must look into it. Fortunately for me, they changed my room to a different and better room. Other than this one issue, everything else was perfect. Special thanks to Prasad, Narendra and Rishi at the pool area for making our experience memorable. The staff at door, the staff at kitchen were really good too. Hats off to you guys.
