Mềm – Tiệm Xôi Bắc is the kind of place where one bite makes you want to come back. The sticky rice is soft, warm, and packed with flavorful toppings. Their best-selling braised pork sticky rice is a must-try—the pork is tender, rich in flavor, and the sauce takes it to another level. The grilled pork sticky rice is just as good, with juicy, well-seasoned meat paired with sweet and sour pickled veggies for the perfect balance. The xôi xéo (Hanoi-style sticky rice) is also spot on, with creamy mung beans and crispy fried shallots that add a nice crunch. Portions are generous, so you’ll definitely leave feeling full. The shop is small but cozy, clean, and simply decorated, with a nice, welcoming vibe. The staff is friendly and quick, so you won’t have to wait long for your food. Overall, if you love Northern-style sticky rice, this place is a must-try. Delicious food at a reasonable price—you’ll definitely want to come back for more!

Quán Mềm is a cozy spot offering sticky rice and beverages with authentic Northern Vietnamese flavors. Tucked away in a small, quiet, and cool alley, the ambiance is delightful. The staff are friendly and welcoming. However, the small wooden tables and chairs might feel cramped for bigger-sized individuals. Service is quick, and the yogurt with green rice flakes is particularly delicious.

Excellent food and dessert! The best one in HoChiMinh so far. Love the homemade taste and flavour. Highly recommended if you are around this city.

A little bit expensive compared to the usual sticky rice dishes but I think it's worth the try. Will surely visit this place again!

Your usual sticky rice dish that you often see in the North, specifically Hanoi. Price is higher than in Hanoi of course, but they got the dish with its OG flavor right here. The sticky rice is abit cold though, I’d want mine hotter. Beverages and tofu desserts here are great, besides that they also serve free cold tea, napkins and toothpicks. Did I mention they have cats too?

We are from the US. We accidentally found this gem near our hotel. They specialize in sticky rice among many other street food and specialized drinks. We ordered a Xoi No Ne, Cha Com, Tau Pho, and Caphe sua da. The atmosphere was really nice, the food was excellent, and the service was awesome. We strongly recommend this place if you happen to be nearby.
